I can't watch him anymore bc I literally want to cry every time I hear him speak. It's so sad seeing his health slowly deteriorate. I'm looking forward to the Light in the Fog 2022 event.
What folks may not know about Maxx: He was the first ever person to transform a NOED Wraith into a domesticated Wraith, a feature that onle he can perform
@@Kyle-st1bv the idea is that somebody using NOED is probably very determined to get kills. Making somebody like that decide to be friendly is pretty rare. Hey man, wanted to say thanks for everything you have provided. I have taken a look at the google drive folder. If it's is okay, would you be up for creating an ELI5 legend text file for explaining all of the abbreviations, etc? I recognize most of the stuff, but now and then I came across something I didn't really recognize and think it is probably just a case of something being immediately recognizable to you and others, but not to my smooth brain. So if you ever get the chance, a quick text file in the root folder with some explanations that are super rudimentary would be greatly appreciated. Took me a hot minute to figure out what "U" meant, for example.
Man... Puppers makes me so sad and happy at the same time. I subscribed to him 5 years ago... And seeing how quickly ALS completely messes someone up is saddening... but to see Max persevere throughout all of this with such an amazing outlook. That's inspiring.
It really is just incredible. I didn’t really watch his videos but I saw that even though he was obviously struggling to speak he still streamed almost every day. He is an incredible inspiration, truly.
Same. I subscribed to Puppers around the same time DBD came out. After playing it for a few years up until just before silent hill chapter (I think) I stopped playing DBD and stopped YT. A couple years later I jump back on DBD and remember my favourite streamer Puppers. I search him up and learn of his condition, it broke my heart. He is an absolute angel and I wish him all the best ❤
RIP Puppers. Another light in the fog extinguished, but his light shines on in the hundreds and thousands of players he brought into the fog and even outside of the fog.
Not really. Had a very unpleasant experience with him when i met him playing as a survivor (he was Feng). Poor guy got us all killed in an otherwise perfectly winnable situation because he decided to give up on hook for no reason - wasn't tunneled, wasn't camped, literally just yeeted himself out of the match (middle room hook on RCPD). Deletes all negative comments about himself, too. Don't know why Otz promotes him when off-stream this guy literally plays like your typical solo-q meghead, with an attitude to boot.
@@nintandao64 I really wonder what vibe the game should have for him then, if this so called "mad lad" suicides on his first hook in a game with 5 hooks total and a last gen 30% away from popping. I swear to god, i understand when people literally give up when they hear nurse's shrieks or when it's pointless to endure because the game is basically over, but his behavior is more akin to a child's tantrum than "eh, not feeling it". That's why it's so concerning to me when people like Maxx get promoted. "Mad lads" don't jeopardize other people's experiences because they were not feeling it, and they certainly don't delete or hide any crticism they receive. And the worst thing, he isn't the only example. CMWinters, so called "wr Pig player" will literally ban u in his twitch chat for /any/ criticism you might have about his playstyle, in a matter of seconds, no matter what vile stuff he does or spews about his opponents. I swear, he's like a YandereDev of DBD community - you can make entire "ban speedruns" with how fast this guy deletes stuff. Promoting all these people is unhealthy to the community as a whole, because, as the saying goes "bad example is infectious".

Otz really likes to start his videos with a specific facial look. "Hello friends, this is Otz!" with his head up and backward, eyes almost closed, raised eyebrows, and a smile lol. Gotta love his positivity and his DBD content. :D
Its a smaller creator that I watch over on Twitch, but a user named SquishiestRosie made a brand new account and managed to go from Ash 4 to Iridescent 1 in a single stream. Not sure if that qualifies them but it was pretty cool

4:40 something that might not be obvious to anyone unfamiliar with double elimination brackets is that the teams in losers' bracket alternate between playing teams who have just dropped into losers' and teams who were already in losers', meaning that from the point you lose, you have to play and win twice as many matches to win the tournament as you would have if you had stayed in winners' bracket.
