@@AmyTheBrawler not technically true. If people have diabetes it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve been eating healthier then someone who Doesn’t have diabetes. It’s just if you eat sugar and are prone to diabetes (it’s more of a blood Line thing) it’s different then eating sugar and not being prone to diabetes. Like if your a child and u eat as much sugar as another child u might get diabetes and they won’t. Unfortunately not a lot of people know their prone to diabetes before they get it. I’m just saying it doesn’t necessarily mean you haven’t been eating healthy if u have diabetes, i mean I would explain more cause that’s not the whole concept, but I have to go. But be more careful on talking about that publicly, it could offend someone.

Honestly, I felt like this episode covered eating disorders in the most superficial way. Eating disorders aren’t just some two week phase. I’ve had anorexia for 8 years. It’s not something you can just get over because your dad talks about your friends liking you for you.
They do that with all old sitcoms. Getting involved in gangs and then the next week they leave the gang and never talk about it again, getting addicted to drugs and alcohol and then the next week they're totally fine and sober etc etc.
That's why it's a TV show
They caught the problem early on, as luck would have it.
True. Your brain will literally change how you perceive your body. You think that you need to keep losing weight despite visually being too thin. Staying thin becomes an obsession that takes over.

The story ended with her in the hospital on the brink of death. She was at rock bottom when she realized that she needed help. I had a friend with an eating disorder and she had normal weight, it comes in all bodies this Issue, not just SUPER SKINNY people.
it doesn't matter what size you are. most people will ALWAYS find something wrong with themselves. insecurity doesn't care about the way you look at all.
Because many, many teenagers in the real world have body image issues.
So stupid shows like this paid lip service to 'addressing' the issue by having the character develop a problem and then have the problem solved in a single episode, which won't help anyone in the real world even though that's what they're trying to do!
Because in the real world, the struggle takes years to develop and then a lifetime to fight.
