It’s very interesting how Elijah’s ruthlessness comes to the forefront now that Hope’s older and Klaus can’t be that anymore.
I love scenes where Klaus’ eyes change like that. These people still haven’t learned to not speak about Hope or threaten her in Klaus’ presence.
Hope and Marcel had an adorable moment in this episode, she trusted him and it was like a sibling bond. The fact that he told her to close her eyes and sing in order to protect her innocence 🥺

"This little girl pulls every emotion outta me." Right!? All I can say is that Hope carried season 4. Summer was the cutest and most perfect fit for Hope. And the way she makes Hope the perfect mix between being a strong Mikaelson and a sweet 7 year old is amazing! Also did you know Nina Dobrev (Elena)is directing a movie where Summer Fontana (7 yro Hope) is cast. Its so cool!

Klaus is so sweet when in dad mode. Hope's a great character. Love the scenes between Marcel and Hope, it's lovely to see them bonding. Josh as Marcel is perfect. Elijah and Vincent have great scenes this episode, love Vincent calling out to Davina. Marcel protecting Hope, them becoming friends, just perfect.

Vincent is literally me with Elijah! I just love that he never holds back and i actually agree with what he said about Elijah. It's really sad seeing how far such a beloved character has fallen. The writers really tried hard to ruin his character..
The Vincent actor is SO GOOD.
1:20 I like that the writers chose O+ to disparage since it’s the most common blood type in real life which I think is a nice touch that Elijah and Klaus don’t like it since it’s less rare. Just a nice little detail. It could also just be that it’s not fresh blood.

My absolute favourite character is Josh though.
As much as I love Klaus and he's the reason I started watching this godforsakened show, Josh and Vincent rules the roost.
Yeah, Elijah's kind of making enemies left and right while sanctimoniously claiming it's for family as of that somehow makes it okay. He was always a killer, but he was never this savage. After, the whole red door situation in season 2, Elijah's been sinking deeper and deep into the Darkness as Klaus slowly rises into the light. At least with Klaus, he wasn't shy about being the villain, so you expected him to do bad things.
Let’s talk about who is responsible for this that would be Vincent and Davina. Last I checked it was them that released the hollow when they took down the link from the ancestral plane releasing the hollow from its prison cell. If those two were actual good witches they would no why but they aren’t thankfully we have Freya. If it wasn’t for Marcel and Vincent the hollow’s acolytes wouldn’t have went into the compound and stole Hope’s brush linking her with the other kids and her life wouldn’t be in danger so yes Elijah is actually looking out for his niece Vincent and Davina dont care if they did the wouldn’t have did what they did. This makes twice that Vincent’s actions led to kids either dying or almost dying cuz of his buddy the Hollow. Thankfully the Mikaelsons care about Hope and the rest of the people in New Orleans cuz Vincent sure doesn’t. The writers are horrible cuz they should have Elijah throw what I said back in Vincent’s smug face
@@johnwalkeristhatdude3018 Yeah, I love Yusuf Gatewood as an actor so sometimes I overlook Vicent's faults. But I've honestly felt that Vincent has a habit of shirking responsibility and throwing blame at everyone else. Davina, at least, genuinely didn't know anything about the Hollow she just wanted to do some good by making sure that no one else ended up like her-a victim of the Ancestors. She continued to be a victim of circumstance, suffering from the bad advice and lies told by all the adults in her life. Like, imagine if Vincent didn't totally abandon a teenage girl to deal with the pressures of being a Regent of a city full of witches, the very same witches who previously tried to use her as a human sacrifice and weren't shy about making it clear that they still hated her.

@@zrashad in the most recent episode that just came out we got to see Freya for the second time in this show and her scene with Hope was really nice. SPOILERS (BUT NOT REALLY SINCE WE KNEW IT WAS COMING ANYWAY)
in this episode 4x03 Hope dies to become the tribrid and in the next episode she will be a tribrid well actually idk because she's still stuck in that dead/not dead state from what I saw in the promo. And in episode 5 Rebekah will make an appearance probably helping Hope with her vampire side or trying to find her since she's been taken while she was dead but not dead since she'll wake up.
I suck at explaining things as you can see but if you watched it then you would know what I'm talking about. But since you never watched the show it gets a little repetitive and annoying because Hope is just obsessed with Landon and they are always saving him he might as well be the main character. Like you would think Legacies would be about Hope, Josie, and Lizzie since they are the legacies. The monster of the week stuff is really annoying but I'm pretty sure it's here to stay so if you don't like that then you probably shouldn't watch it. Legacies is a big difference from TVD and TO people say it's because this show is for a younger audience but in tvd they were teenagers too and it was more intense and mature and literally 11 year olds watched TVD so idk why it's such a big difference. But overall Legacies isn't a bad show but you'll be kind of disappointed coming straight from TO to this imo.

@@zrashad yeah lol, it's kind of like tvd and how elena turned into a vampire in season 4 and I think originally it was was supposed to be the end of s3 but the scheduling got messed up or something idk. And no she already had her witch and werewolf sides because remember in TO she activated her werewolf side. She has to die to active her vampire side which she did this episode and when she turns she would still have her witch powers too.

I really like seeing Marcel and Hope interact this episode. It was so sweet! I love that they are siblings. The Hayley and Klaus moments were top notch this episode too. I loved seeing Vincent go off at Elijah as well. I’ve really not been liking his decisions lately. I think it makes sense that as Klaus’s character progresses Elijah’s digresses, but I don’t necessarily like it. He didn’t even know if Vincent could resurrect those girls. Seeing Vincent have to get out Davina’s skull to help was chilling.
Elijah’s character isn’t digressing cuz last I checked Vincent and Davina released the hollow, Vincent was an acolyte of the hollow before season one aired and Vincent knew in season two when Eva was fighting Rebekah for her body that she was doing the hollow’s bidding and said nothing. If Vincent was an actual good witch before and his selfish friend Davina would have wondered why the ancestral plane exists there and no where else in the world they wouldn’t have cut off the link releasing the hollow from its prison last I checked Elijah had nothing to do with that Elijah is protecting Hope and the people of the city he helped create cuz Vincent doesn’t care.

Another reason why I love this episode team Marcel get to see Klaus actually is an amazing father unlike Marcel #CLOSEYOUREYESANDSING. Klaus did everything in his power to keep the darkness of the supernatural word away from Marcel growing up he only want Marcel to know his positive side Marcel was not allowed to see darkness Klaus wouldn’t have any of that no on his watch. It’s why he daggered Kol he was trying to turn Marcel into a vampire he wasn’t even ten yet WTF Kol it’s why he was always the worst Mikaelson his brain is wired different. I think Klaus didn’t want Marcel and Rebekah together cuz he never intended to turn Marcel into a vampire Klaus was the opposite of Esther and Mikael he would never snuff out the good in a child to protect them. Marcel is only a vampire cuz he got shot by his biological dad and was dying to me Marcel forced his hand cuz Klaus didn’t want him to die nor did he want to murder him to save him that was another reason Klaus lost his humanity I think Klaus hates the fact he turned him. If Klaus had his way Marcel would have stayed a human grew old and died naturally instead of making him a monster. Marcel was the complete opposite he didn’t treat davina like a daughter he and the fans like to think that but when he rescued her from the harvest instead of making her close her eyes and sing he had her help him with subjugating, torturing and murdering witches that’s the whole reason the ancestors had her killed if none of that happened she would still be alive but davina took part in it willingly. Instead of telling davina no or getting her out of New Orleans like father K wanted him to he used her power that’s what he saw first. This is why Klaus is the best character in this universe.

Finally the episode where Vincent disgusts me. Let’s talk about how Vincent is the one half of the reason we are in this position to begin with. To combat Marcel who was treating witches like third class citizens, torturing and murdering any witch who practiced magic (team Marcel likes to act like that didn’t happen it did) Vincent practiced the magic of the hollow to kill Marcel. Eva wanting to protect her child practiced to she went evil and murdered innocent children hey Vincent the harvest girls came back many of the kids Eva killed Didnt none of that wouldn’t have happened if u didn’t practice that magic and if Marcel wasn’t a evil dictator. Cuz Vincent wanted to take the Mikaelsons down Hope’s brush was ripe for the taking cuz Hayley couldn’t pack up the compound cuz of Vincent and Marcel are two of the three reasons why Hopes life is in danger. Back in season two when Eva was fighting Rebekah to take control of her body she went on to carry out the Hollow’s wishes but Vincent didn’t say a word and he didn’t investigate why after so long Eva went back to taking and killing children the factions of New Orleans could have been on high alert for weird crap but Vincent said NOTHING. In my opinion there is no need for another harvest ritual seven years after the last one cuz Vincent could have figured out there is a reason why no other witches in the world have the ancestral plane the ancestors imprisoned the hollow. This is why I think Vincent is a crap witch instead of becoming regent he let a selfish little girl be regent who is also a HORRIBLE witch in her own right we would be boned if we didn’t have the OG thousand year old Freya around.

He did the right thing who let the hollow out of its prison in the first darn place that would be Vincent and Davina the ancestors put that evil thing in a cell and those two idiots released it. If Vincent and Davina didn’t break the link from the ancestors to the living would Elijah have done the harvest ritual reforming the link and being able to put the hollow back in its prison? Answer that question and u will have ur answer.
