Hayley's look of fear is actually pretty justified. Elijah's inner beast was literally attacking Hayley's mind/soul. I can't even begin to imagine the deep psychological impact that would cause in anyone. Physical pain you can get over, but attacks on the soul stay with you.
Yeah the show is not based on your ideals. I know this episode inside and out. The true facts of the show. I have looked up everything and are all against what you believe.
@@zackstoner4523 Cool, I don't see why it's relevant to point that. I know one of the series writers on the show and 2 members the production crew who also worked on TVD. I've even been on the set before, and you know what, it doesn't change my opinion on what happened in this episode.
Elijah's death also means Tristan is dead along with the vast majority of the Stryx😋.

Hayley has never seen this side of Elijah because he always used to hide his dark parts, especially from her. Sure, she knows that he is a mikaelson and she also knows that they can be ruthless, but it’s something else when you experience that on yourself (Also I think she was more worried about Hope, the way she held her back from him. I just think that she was afraid because Elijah is a big part of Hopes life)
I feel like nobody rlly gets why Hayley was scared I think how much she was scared is justified due to that she was actually attacked by Elijah not just a memory but actually him it’s kinda traumatizing

You can't say that the Hollow isn't using weapon at her disposal, she's been playing Originals against others this whole season, Kol barely back in town for a day and this is happening to him
I think Hayley’s fear comes from the fact that the man behind the red door IS Elijah. That’s the core of his consciousness, and shes just realised that. If Hope wasn’t involved I think she’d get over it

The tension between Rebekah and Marcel is never lacking
I understand Haley’s initial fear, but this whole thing really pisses me off and felt like just a way to cause tension between them for no reason. Because as you and Klaus said she knows what they are and what they have done, why would it be shocking now? Why would she think she would find him in a good memory when Elijah is so self loathing? And Haley has committed so many atrocities herself like when she ruthlessly murdered dozens of witches on the regular. It feels very hypocritical. Especially because that wasn’t who Elijah is now! It seems weird to hold something against someone for something that happened basically in a dream sequence. If Elijah had gone into Haley’s worst moment would she want him to fear her? Like it just seemed as though the writers were destined for them to never be happy and it was so frustrating.

I hated when the Mikaelsons doubted that Freya couldn't do something. Like she loves them like they all love eachother! Obviously she won't give up on Elijah that's her baby brother. She wouldn't stop till he's okay

Two things. I love Elijah Unleashed, and Hayley's fear doesn't surprise me, considering how some people can be both sensitive and oblivious.

The way this family does anything possible to save their family, their loyalty to each other is admirable really, they do not care about who has to die in order for them to live, and they tend to face many threats because of who they are that they will always have to do something insane to save each other, it isn't right at all but who wouldn't want that kind of bond with family, as psychotic as it is :) hope is literally just like them too and I love it, that little girl wouldn't think it twice before taking somebody out lol.
Hayley’s fear was justified and she was more concerned with the violence and what it means for Elijah as an adult in Hope’s life. Haley was always worried about her daughter being taught to be feared, and learning by Klaus’s or the Mikaelsons evil ways. Vincent even told Elijah a couple episodes back that he was going to pray for Hope’s soul being raised by a “punk” like Elijah. Hope being a tribrid (werewolve gene, power of a witch, and vampire blood) she can have tendicies to be a villain. Haley wants to protect her from that learned behavior.
Vincent should stay quiet he’s evil he released the hollow. The only reason Eva killed and stole so many kids in cuz of Vincent teaching his wife the evil ways of his mentor the hollow. The only reason Hope is in danger is cuz of Vincent and Davina releasing that monster the hollow

"Nobody's closer to him then i am" what? That's not true. It would make a lot more sense to put Klaus in the pendant than Hayley. She barely knows the man, which is proven in this episode. Her rose-coloured glasses for Elijah were finally shattered in this episode. Hayley being scared is completely understandable to btw. It must have been horrible to have the person you love attack you like that. I think the reason she was so shocked and scared of Elijah is because she has been in love with the version of Elijah that he has let her see so far. I liked Haylijah in the first season but i feel like after season 1 up on til this season (so far) it has shown just how much they don't work. She just doesn't know him at all and Elijah obviously doesn't want her to really see him.
I was kind of happy that her fantasy of Elijah was shattered because maybe then she can stop acting like Elijah is better than Klaus and see him for who he truly is. Klaus is right, they are all monsters. Just because most of Elijah's evil was for family does not excuse them.
Davina is not the same? The first thing she does when she comes back(as a ghost, ancestor..?) was try and kill Klaus. That literally sounds just like the Davina we all know and love 😂 (before you comment, yes i know some of you don't like her) Although she didn't want to kill him but she thought it was the only way. I think that is progress.. no?
I think the difference between Kol, Klaus and Elijah is that Kol and Klaus never hid who they were. They never used that what they did was for family as an excuse. I know Klaus thought he did at some points i think(daggering his family?). Kol told Devina who he used to be and told her that he wanted to be good for her. He never got to show her that but still he never acted like he was good in any way. Klaus excepted a long time ago that he was a monster, THE monster of monsters. He never hid that from Caroline and Cami. Elijah on the other hand did hide who he was/is behind the red door. Everything he has kept locked away has been seeping out from season 1 of TO. Like i said, Hayley has just had rose-coloured glasses when it comes to him.
I don't care how much Marcel loves Sofya, that man LOVES Rebekah still. You see it in their eyes, both of them. I don't think they ever stopped loving each other.
Yes Elijah loves Hayley so much but Hope was definitely the person he loved most ever. His niece was the most precious thing in his life. Shi a 7 year do be saving everyone. She was deffo Elijahs key to getting out of that.
I think seeing Elijah do/knowing that he does horrible things is a lot different from those horrible things being done to Hayley herself. It should take some time for her to feel safe around him again because being attacked by someone you love is traumatizing, even if he wasn't in his right mind. She explained to Klaus why it bothered her so much, his "core" or where he retreated to, was the worst part of himself, showing that that's how he sees himself. This is on top of him sacrificing the harvest girls and almost killing those kids in the forest. Hayley is seeing the darker parts of Elijah this season and isn't okay with it.
Great way to show Elijah's line dieing off aswell as bring Rebekah and Kol back into the story. I think Haley's response comes down to being truly scared of Elijah for the first time. The red door really fucked Elijah up, for centuries he was cut off from some of his most horrendous memories, when they came back it shattered his perception of himself. Now he seems to be unable to separate himself from his worst acts.
About hayley and elijah scene both of them weren't physically there so elijah was mentally hurting hayley who she thought elijah would never hurt her so that a little messy and About kol, he didn't even ask or agree to davina coming back hollow put him in a tough position, and knowing Kol je can't let go of Davina again.

I never really understood Hayley's fear of Elijah. As Jer said, I get in the moment, but after he came to consciousness, it no longer made sense. Yes, the guy behind the red door is part of who he is, but it's not all of him. He chooses to not be that person, and who he is now would never hurt Hayley.

I asked Michael Narducci that once. He said personally he thinks Marcel would win that fight. But who knows actually. Marcel has the bite advantage but both are extremely powerful.
I think Alaric, mostly because Alaric wouldn't be able to die to Marcel. Since his Original Vampire life was tied to Elena. But I'm not sure either, considering Marcel was made to what he is now after Alaric being turned to a vampire. (sorry if this makes no sense)

I know Hayley loves Elijah but they shouldn't have sent hayley it should have been a family member. Hayley was so wrong to judge like what did she expect he’s a 1000 year old vampire ofc he's killed a lot and I understand if he did this now but this was in the past.
