I bought one based on the video and advert saying no drone, but sadly it drones really badly. One of the worst performance exhausts I've ever had. Don't know if mine is defective or something. Scorpion customer service didn't care when I asked them if there might be an issue
Any possibilities that this system could be mounted to a car with one of the M52TU motors such as the 323i? Or would it have to be converted or remade?
You would need to cut the flanges and clock them differently. If you don't want to mess around get Remus-Sebring exhaust for 323 and 328 by FSW Tuning, full stainless, sounds great, TUV compliance.
does it still have cats in this presentation ? The raspiness is usually achieved by catless headers. If the exhaust system can do it with the OEM cats in place, iam sold.
The car had a full M52 B3 3.3 system on it when I owned it. That included manifolds modified to fit. I'm not sure if Scorpion replaced the manifolds, but if not, it will still have the M52 Alpina set up
Bought one for my e46 330ci based on this video. It sounds terrible and nothing like the video. Loads of drone, very bassy sound, and too loud even for a performance exhaust. Would not recommend sadly.
