I’m happy you enjoy this type life. I started traveling at 19 on my vacation time on jobs. I just don’t have the desire to travel now. Maybe 4 hour drive - stay a night or two and back home again. Glad you have son-in-law to help with your van needs. Observing so many men and women doing this life, I just think I learned I traveled and worked enough for a lifetime. You maybe didn’t travel at a younger age, so glad you got out some now. Just the thought of getting food, preparing it, cleaning up, getting a pet’s needs met, laundry done, meds refilled and the dreaded vehicle maintenance- I am thankful I traveled early in life! I use to be a big people person, now I enjoy my reading and getting my chores done and relaxing. Good Safe Travels!❤🌲🐿️🌎🦋

Hi Zia, I saw your interview with Bob Wells and I must say your vehicle is amazing. It is well organized and for you to drive from Canada and spend 6 weeks and have to go back that’s a lot of driving. I thought about traveling across Canada which I may do at a later date. I’m new to the nomadic scene which I started last year just to get the feel what’s it like. I packed my CRV with my tent and off I went from Ohio to Yellowstone National Park. At first I was nervous and unsure and I wanted to turn back a few times but after a while I realized that I enjoyed it being free. I love your cheerful attitude despite many problems and honesty about how you deal with the stress and frustration. I've only used google a few times since having it. I find it gets me lost nearly 100% of the time. I'm so much better off with a topographic map, a road map or a city map. Google seems to want to take me by some seldom driven road or out of the way road, sometimes shorter but, never quicker. I have a map app on my phone which is somewhat better in town. People are usually good for instructions, too. Thank you for sharing.

Oh not fun once in the Roadtrek I sunk up to the axels - of course no cell phone service from my carrier. Grace happened and someone came by that did have cell service and they let me call AAA. Now I am doing some Prius Glamping. Your little dog is so cute. I travel with 2 puppies.
You misunderstood, my friends did help. Almost immediately they found two guys that owned shovels, traction boards, etc. and gave them my coordinates, so they could find me quickly! So far the nomad community has been amazing.🚐🏜️

unless you have to never use water in your radiator it will clog with rusty water and it will get ruined by water use antifreeze at all times
