If you haven’t already stick Burgh-island (Bigbury) on your bucket list-cracking paddle around it and takes about 45 mins! Plus take a walk to the top of it and read the history plinth in the old building on the top, great views and local!
Spend a lot of time there. It’s a good one for summer when all the roads get blocked, as the access is by much better roads for those not familiar with lanes. 🤣 They also have great coffee and crepes, plus with all the ice cream places and restaurants, it certainly is a good one. Staying at Tristram on the top is perfect 👍🏼
Our trip of a lifetime was when we hired an RV in the Canadian Rockies followed by a two day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer to relax afterwards before (in our case) returning back to the UK. Good luck with your dreams and due to family health problems we did this trip sooner than later while we were able to do so. Good luck with your ambitions and dreams.
😁 Polzeath is great, especially in the peak summer weeks, as there are no real narrow lanes for those not used to them don’t struggle, the big carpark and the various ice cream places, coffee and crepes, shops. I also like Mawgan Porth for the same reason, although can be a little trek from the carpark if you have to park in the one a little away. They do some lovely cakes there 🤣
The Rally Sweden is not easy and requires good preparation. Make it easier and warmer for yourself with the Monte Carlo Rally. I'm at the Col de Turini every year and enjoy one of the biggest motorsport events of the year. Campervans are very welcome. It's OK to camp in a nature reserve for two days and even have a campfire.

Yes been to Bigbury many times. Never paddled around it though.
I can add that to my list, good suggestion.
Holywell is magical (I saw it briefly) Better in real life than photos (i thought)
Took my breath away when I first saw it. Like I didn’t imagine it would be that nice
Polzeath North Cornwall best bucket and spade / surf beach in the country . Took our kids for years there 🙂

Thank you. That is a great trip. I know someone who went out there, fell in love with the place and moved there.
Wow we’re following me in Cornwall last year???
We went everywhere you mentioned and many more.
Polzeath perfect for Carpark on beach.

@@StaycationLifestyle I was told they stopped the Mawgan Porth parking after an incident last year.
@@williamclark3572 I hadn’t heard that. I parked in the field carpark August/sept and the closer one later in sept and hadn’t heard of any incident

Yes I seem to recall that from when I looked many years ago.
That was another I fancied actually 😁
