How do you think theyd fit with ankle braces? Should i go a half size up?
sorry for the late response. I wouldn't recommend ankle braces with these coz of the collar line right where you tie the top lace portion there is a stitching in that portion to add to the security ofyour foot not popping out.
My pair just came in and I'm wondering if I should have got a half or even a full size larger I do have a wide foot and I can't seem to fit my foot into this at actual size
The lebron is 1 size bigger than your normal size
I had to get a size up just so they could fit

Preciate ya brotha. I kno u touched on the fit on your ig but I wear size 11.5. Whenever a shoe runs narrow at the forefoot area I wear size 12. When I say narrow I’m talkin whenever the shoe has like hard plastics or rough material on the side that pinches you pinky toe or the side bone of your big toe. If the material is soft and flexible I can wear 11.5 even if the front of the shoe is narrow. With that being said, do you think I can wear a size 11.5 with the soldier 14s? Is the forefoot material soft or stretchy? If not is the shoes width regular or more to the narrow side? I created a custom on Nike ID and I want to make sure I get the right size with your help...
doesn't sound like u have a length issue more so than a width issue bro.. what type of socks do you wear? u wear regular socks or those cushioned basketball socks?
ShadeSnSoleS I wear different socks depending on the fit. For example When the shoes are slightly too narrow but goin up half a size would be too big, I wear thin non cushioned socks. I think the biggest factor for me is the material. It can be narrow as long as the material doesn’t pinch my feet with any hotspots
@@zoesh2441 if u have the airmax 270s or if u have a store wherever ur at that has an airmax 270, widthwise they feel the same...
Basically if the shoe is narrow it has to be a very soft and or flexible material. If the material is hard or rough and non stretchy like plastic or leather then it has to be wider than the average shoe or I have to go a half size up. KD 12s n 13s I have to go a half size up because the material isn’t soft or stretchy enough and the shoe runs more to the narrow side
@@zoesh2441 I would say go TTS but if ur too concerned about the width, u can always go half up and use cushioned socks.. or just be patient with it until ur actually able to fit the shoe so u wouldn't be risking anything at all 🤷♂️

thats why I took out the plastic thing as mentioned on the video.. 🤷🏽♂️ its just gonna be for looks and if im gonna use it performance wise its pinching on my anterior portion of the ankle.. im not gonna play with those lacelocks on..

my pair had XDR outsoles.. if you bought your pair in Asia you should be good.. I can't speak for the US versions..
is the outsole durable enough for only outdoor use?
my colorway has an XDR outsole and an EP, its supposed to be durable enough for outdoor use..havent gotten my chance to take a crack at it outdoors, as iv said in the vid - still injured..

as much as I want to coz its an AI shoe.. I tried.. and I can't make a full REAL review of it.. I'll tell you this much, outsole got grip, upper is very nice with that old-school feel and support but I hate the midsole rubber.. cushioning system (I-Pak) is comfy for walking but that rubber is unforgiving for somebody who is up on age like myself. may be if I was 5-8 years younger I could still take it but not right now.. 🙏🏽

@@shadesnsoles Hey The Nike outlet near me currentlyhas these in stock(not XDR. Just regular version) & I wanna grab a pair. Your opinion on the sizing of these has changed from recommending tts to now u recommend going a half size down. Just curious as to what made u change your mind?
@@mbfree5022 TTS in the beginning coz of how difficult to put the shoe on.. after wearing them multiple times got used to it and all that, started to feel I had been getting a lot of back and forth movement from within the shoe while playing.. and thats a big no for me..

you wouldn't want that price hike and the inability to manually adjust the lacing..im personally done with auto lacing.. id rather have the no laces on the first adi next levels, not the 2020 next levels..

ShadeSnSoleS i think its the colorway actually. I went on NikeID and the more solid color ways make the shoe look better. Sort of like a hightop presto
I think it's the opposite....the front isn't that appealing, but the side and back is nice.
