I love how they shaped the heal. The heal to toe transition is very smooth and fluid, also this shoe slips on and off very easily but still remains tight enough to contain my foot for play, this shoe also comes with a lace toggle which I love. It locks the laces in place so they don’t loosen or come undone. Great shoe 👍

i know you said they’re pretty true to size but i’m going from a kyrie 4 to this so do you think i should keep the same size or go up or down?
The good thing about the NBA season winding down is that last year's models are hitting the clearance shelves. This is the only Lebron release for 2020/21 that I actually like and I picked it up for 58.00 at a Nordstrom Rack of all places.. It already feels broken in, but I think that's due to the shoes sitting on the shelf for a while and people trying them on. I agree with the lacing system assessment. The shroud is unnecessary and makes it hard to adjust the laces. Other than that, the tech specs and overall fit and feel can't be beat for the price I paid for them..

I kinda like it, as long as it is not too heavy. I think stability in the heel is a good thing, the less sink feel the better for your achilles heel and avoid heel wear and tear, specially if you are an explosive player or you use your heel when landing (like what J34 is).

@@vihan2696 nah bro, but i did play in them and they were great, i don't know how long the traction would last but there was a great bite when i try to stop, and cuz I'm a heavy player i can also feel rear zoom unit, most of them complained that they can't feel the heel cushion but it was great for me...

Like the earphone jacks, the lace is an ancient technology that should be removed and replaced with something better. Nike should have kept the straps and improved it with a better locking system. It’s so stupid when you have to fix your stupid laces in the middle of the game.

Of course you will disagree. Change doesn’t happen easily but it will happen eventually. It’s normal for older generations to hold on to old tech. Like how my great granddad still thinks that typewriters are still better than PCs.
I disagree because laces allow the customization of how you want the shoe to fit in certain areas. Straps and any other lacing mechanism out there right now doesn’t allow for that flexibility

That’s still not a reason not to replace it with something better. That “customization” is only a marginal advantage compared to how inconvenient it is. It cannot even hold its position because it will keep on stretching out and you end up with endless readjusting. Laces are for medieval times.
