Your home is beautiful. I’m also a Catholic, love all your Catholic prints. I also love Mother Teresa, I also have one of her quotes on my sitting room wall. “ Not all of us can do Great things, but we can do small things with great Love “. This quote always reminds me of when I’m having a busy day or just a hard day , not to complain and be grateful . Many blessings to you and your family .
Emily also remember, when you bring catholic items to your home from antique stores or the goodwill, make sure you have them blessed by a priest or a deacon.
We just had our entire home blessed by our deacon! The boys now like to “bless” the house with “holy water” from the sink. We made that an outside game 😂
In the world where this is criticized, how our Heavely Father and Savior Jesus Christ is ..... thank you for sharing your Christ centered home, your faith, and the strength to be Christian in the world today. ❤
What beautiful Catholic home , I agree the way you decorate, in our home we are the same. God bless you and your family. It's refreshing to see this in this day an age
Thanks for sharing! I was raised Mennonite and my best friend was raised Catholic. We shared time in each other's homes all the time. I had a great childhood.
I love you Emily you are just so precious and sweet! I love your home, all the decor looks amazing, and the spiritual pieces take it to another great level! God bless you and your precious family! I just love your channel. I’m a 63 yr old mother and grandmother and every room in my home has spiritual meaning of things I have from my precious grandmother, mother and aunts. They are all gone now but I cherish every little Christian thing I got from them and yes you’re right it makes your house a HOME. ❤ btw I have the solid wood Lords supper huge picture hung in my dining room, every meal I look up and thank God for all his blessings and for each meal we have because of him! I love it.
Thank you for the tour … you’ve done such an amazing job! You have some beautiful antiques in the home … I love the eclectic look of the intertwining of the various styles of furniture throughout … it all seems to flow nicely throughout your home. I’m a Born Again myself, as opposed to a religion (non-denominational). I’m all about God’s word in the Bible (KJV) and it’s truth. I also understand there are many roads that lead to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Thanks again for sharing your home with us. God bless! Shalom! 🙏🙌✝️❤️🇨🇦
Emily your house is just so lovely and inviting! I am Christian but my whole family is Catholic and many of my aunts have their home decorated with religious items and watching this video took me back to my childhood! 💗
I loved seeing you Christ centered home! We have family herilooms, artwork, rosary and crucifix hung in our home. We always get compliments on how cosy and welcoming our home is which makes me feel so happy and proud. Its always in the finer details! Thank you for sharing 😊
Your home is beautiful sweetie. I love that you are living a Christ centered home. We need so much more of that in this world. I am Baptist myself. God is the most important resident of our home too. I will admit that I missed one or two things you showed. I had to back up. I had been looking at that precious little angel snuggled on Mommy's chest. So adorable. 💙 Thank you for inviting me, once again, into your lovely home. HUGS 🙏🌼
I love how your home reflects your testimony of faith.I too have scriptures and beautiful pictures of Christ.Good for your children and may reach out to a lost soul. God bless
I have the statue of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. I found it at a consignment shop. I love it so much. We had The Blessing picture hanging by our dining table when I was growing up. I am Methodist, and I love how you are so comfortable speaking about your faith.
Decades ago my mother had a painter come into our home to give a quote. After looking through every room, he asked my mother if we were Catholic. When she asked him why he asked that, he said that he had noticed that every room contained a religious item, usually a crucifix or a statue. My home is the same, starting with a large picture in our entrance of Our Lady of Guadelupe, blessed by my hero, St. John Paul the Great. Lovely video of your home.
Hi beautiful Emily and omg baby Cassie is so cute. Being Catholic also I have rosaries and crosses and crucifixes. I wish I had more pictures like you do. I will have to say I don’t run across many Catholic items thrifting. I too, have a Mary garden. Right now there are beautiful Lillie’s with her. I ask my little neighbor who is seven why do we honor Mary. She said because she is Jesus’s mother. I love your home so much. I can not remember if you were born into a Catholic home or you are a convert. My husband converted after we had been married five years. I think there is something so special about sharing your faith. You are doing this in a public forum. So many people are non believers. I ran across a sad post one day and several people told this lady they would pray for her and to read scriptures to help her. So many people responded by saying that reading fairy tales wont help. It is sometimes a very sad state that we are in and I pray for better. Love your channel Emily and what a good person you are. ❤❤❤❤
Just found your channel and you gained a follower. I am Catholic also and love seeing your religious items displayed throughout your beautiful home. I am a fan of religious items in a home when they have meaning to you. I am not a fan of people using religious items for display because they “look cool” or have no meaning other than aesthetic purposes. I also have three boys (grown now) so I got a chuckle out of the bed moved and the crooked artwork. 😊
Regardless if we're catholic, methodist, or non-denomination.. we all serve the same God, thats the main focus! Personally I don't debate nor do i judge anyone's belief or how they serve, as long as they serve the Lord, that's what matters. I just want to see peoples hearts right before their judgment day. Your church art prints are very pretty! I'll say it again as i did when you scored it.. the treasure chest is a stunning piece!❤ The Last Supper art piece really does look like a wood carving, very pretty! I've been looking for the "Grace" art print. Its also called or known as 'The Daily Bread Man', 'praying man' or 'blessing man' as some call it. I'd also love to find the female that goes along with it called "Gratitude". I think they're beautiful pieces, he's very popular and maybe more so than her. The Jerusalem cross is so pretty! My son went to Israel back before covid, he traveled & sang with a ministry. He bought A really nice necklace with the Jerusalem cross. I actually collect antique or really old chairs just to sit all around my home for decor.. some you can actually sit in, others i mad sure some type of decor is in them so no one actually sits in them, or they may hit the floor or break my chair😂 But like i said there are some you can sit in. I just have a thing for old chairs, you can really find some beautiful ones! I know that has nothing to do with hospitality but they can be practical!🤷♀️ Love the water color of the church & your photo above it, so sweet😊Your home is very beautiful & cozy..enjoyed the video & thanks for sharing with us! Have A blessed week😊
Amen to that! I have loved learning different aspects of our faith through my friends of different denominations. Your comment on your chairs leaving some guests on the floor made me chuckle. But I’m sure they are pretty as decor!
@@EmilyGarbe same, i love learning about the different faiths! I was raised Free Will Baptist as a child, but I've been non denominational since i was in my 20's. We did attend The Church of God in while living in Tennessee. But I just say there's one God & that's who i serve on a personal level, demonanation aside! As long as we love & serve him, in whatever way, that's the main thing😊
@@EmilyGarbe yay! I majored in art and knew she was famous for her mothers with children paintings. You'd probably like some of her other work as well!
Let me know what details you add to your home to make it special for you!

May I suggest an old Catholic book by Madame Guyon? Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ. It profoundly changed me.
