One of my favorite moments was when Geralt and Jaskier met up again and Geralt apologized to him for what he said to him last season and they were friends again.

Geralt of Rivia isn’t actually from Rivia, but a far less regal place named Kaedwen. The games and the books tell us that he chose this region as his birthplace to make himself appear more “prestigious” to his clients, as the Queen is also from Rivia.🥰🥰🥰

Geralt: He may be your father Ciri, but he isn't your daddy.

In case you missed it, in the scene where Ciri is trapped in the witch dream, when she is breaking free all the people turn to ash, except the white flame. Because he is the only one that was not dead.

When the Wild Hunt appeared I actually cheered. I also really enjoyed Vereena, I found her really unsettling. Can't wait for S3.

The stillness, the slow turn, never letting the blade slip from Yen's neck, getting in close, never breaking gaze, "Mine." Both chillingly scary and tenderly heartwarming at the same time. Masterful.

We were so hyped for for the leshen only for it to get 15 seconds of screen time then killed off.

I haven't read the books or played the games, but I'm really enjoying this series. The story is developing really well

One of my favorite scenes is Seri on the obstacle course and the whole final battle. Her dynamic with Lambert and Cohen was life. They were like older brothers. Busting her chops and bullying her sometimes, but also helping her train and grow and become more confident. And god help the entity that tries to hurt her as seen at the end. And of course that final reveal! Wow!

There's quite a lot of disparity it seems concerning the deviation from the books. And despite that I still have a bit of a gripe with Eskel dying (it could have been any other witcher) I understand the choices made. Book 2 was at points tedious, with a lot of focus on the details of training Ciri. Her magic training in the temple dragged on a little imho, there's more pace now. Second, the books need to describe the whole world to us, the series has sets that cut a bit of "runtime" in worldbuilding that is then used to introduce more plotlines and characters. I'm quite happy that we get to see more of Sodden, of Yennefer's time at Aretuza following that battle, and that we get more background on the Elves, Cintra and the Nilfgaardians. And as long as we get all of the books highpoints, I'm good.

I like that the Fringilla scene, where she stapped the general in the eye, is a hint to the Gaunter O'dimm scene in The Witcher 3 DLC hearts of stone

Miss Best moment: Jaskier Reunited Geralt

My favorite moment by far that I feel like should have been number one is when Geralt puts a sword to Yennefer's neck and the dwarf (can't remember his name right now) says "she's yours?" And Geralt says "MINE." LIKE IT SENT SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE! The fact that he went from not wanting anything to do with Ciri to being that father figure and claiming her as his own is just so heart warming.
