"The Father’s plan, accepted by Jehovah, provided man the right of choice, that through its exercise he might become strong and advance in learning, wisdom, and righteousness by conquering weaknesses and by resisting the temptations to do wrong." ElRay L. Christiansen
As a convert it's important to experience the intended fruits of the gospel personally hence the need for basic truths first. Every home needs what first? A foundation.

Let's not forget people Latter-day Saints don't preach a gospel that stops at simply "believing in" or "beliefs." We preach the reception of knowledge even the spirit of prophecy, the rock of revelation etc..
One thing I should have realized so much earlier is that putting all the incredible pressure on people to follow the Church leaders was nothing else than a big red flag that I was going to be baptized in a cult
If this whole mortal life is basically a test to get back to heaven, why would God not ensure that everyone would have an equal opportunity to hear "the Word" or about Jesus Christ? It's not a minor detail, supposedly our salvation is on the line! Seems like a major oversight.
It's basically liberation theology vs Savior theology, remember the war in heaven continues today. The devil continues to offer liberation for all at the cost of our freedom to be self-reliant, and of course "you shall not surely die" right, or in other words there's no consequences for your actions eat drink and be merry.
He separates church leadership and the teachings of Christ ¿¿ 😄 I can literally find hundreds of talks about Jesus Christ and his teachings in like 20 seconds.
A watered-down view of grace is probably a fruit of NOT EXPERIENCING the intended fruits of the gospel. Latter-day Saint preach the miracle of conversion the reception of knowledge even the spirit of prophecy, the glorious process of sanctification etc.. all of which is born of ACTUALLY EXPERIENCING GRACE and not just claiming to lean on it etc.. Faith is a principle of action. He's basically saying Latter-day Saints believe you reap what you sow. It's called the law of the harvest. He that doeth the will of my Father shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, Matt. 7:21. Matt. 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Thank you🙏🏿

Another masterpiece! Great episode.
Thanks again!
Very informative to people that are investigating and want to know the real truth of things in the LDS church. I so wish I would have known.
For Latter-day Saint the Atonement of Jesus Christ includes ALL OF HIS SUFFERING and even his resurrection.
I learn something new in every lesson. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these episodes. 😊
This is a great share.

The Plan of Salvation is beautiful
I think it is crazier than Santa Claus….. creepier
@@robinnetto6794 Your disbelief is a part of The Plan of Salvation, Remember it involves Creation and your freedom to reject light and knowledge.
Loving this series, Bill!

Thanks Bill!! ❤
You are very welcome
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is "emphasized" and goes beyond just the cross.

Amazing
Obedience is for the followers, not the leaders.

I've never felt pressured to follow "church leaders" ¿¿
Different degrees of glory would not be "terrifying," also we were probably more aware of God's wisdom and purposes.
