I repeat again that am not encouraging anyone to join or not to join. Everyone is smart enough to decide it on their own.

The video received 200+ Likes and 10 dislikes in the first 10 hours, suddenly a lot of dislikes started coming in the end night(in an hour or so) when the video went viral. Since I updated this, on a daily basis 50 dislikes come in an hour span for a day. Using fake accounts to hide your propaganda will never work. It is not clear to me a video which is being appreciated by so many over Linkedin, over here and many other places(includes CF too). Who are the one who are disliking? I will request them to please comment and come forward to express their concerns(P.S: if they are genuine people or some random fakes being created to put down the video). Adding to that youtube removes 20/30 dislikes daily. Their algorithm is good :)
I expressed my concerns , which stated a lot of facts, but apparently some of the haters just reported to hide it, so doesn't really matter if this comment sticks as well. Cz the point has been made!

I was scrolling through Quora, the question is asked about scaler, it is just answered by few common people, and the thread is closed, so that other people cannot answer.
There were more than 4 batches, I forgot to add the experienced batches count.
Now they have removed the cap too, in case X and Y appear for a Z company which pays really high, X clears it and Y gets rejected and then after Y gets a job at small firm. X pays much much more since the upper cap of 3L is removed now. Both used same resources, but then unfortunate X has to pay more now, just saying !
Also the video had 10-15 dislikes in the first 9 hours, suddenly a surge of 100+ dislikes in an hour, people are up working at home. I will really appreciate those people who are disliking to comment over here, thanks.

This is almost 3 years old. The current Scaler is nothing like it is described in the video. Scaler is the best learning environment that you will ever get apart from Stanford and Harvard. I have enrolled in Scaler in May and it is the best decision of my life.

But my experience was bad when i talked to their counsellors, they straight ahead demotivated me and it felt like something fishy about their course structure and how they will place us, they didn't give me clear answer about how will i get interviews so that's why i called the plan off.

Its 2022 and I can relate, I'll share a recent experience.
I'm from a Tier C college as well, they called me ton of times, in one of those calls, I met a very aggressive woman who tried to straight away demotivate me to the bottom and lure me into their course. When I said no I can manage DSA on my own and it does not make sense to me to spend lakhs of rupees for content half of which is already there on the internet, she kept hammering one way or another I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CRACK A PRODUCT COMPANY, really blunt and kept hammering me like I was an idiot who knows nothing, that call went on for 30 minutes and literally they'll get on your nerves to corner and onboard you for hefty fees.
Fyi, I'm in good product company right now (on my own) and I wish scaler could read this right now, and literally stop demotivating people at least who are quite confident they can do stuff.
Even if I couldn't crack a product company, I won't go to scaler, that one phone call with the lady gave me enough insight into the culture over there, don't fall for the trap guys.

I gave interviewbit test in Nov 2019, apparently the problems were very tough in my set 2 from DP one from graph one was based upon the segment tree . Why on earth they are teaching DSA if we are already aware about Segment tree , Binary index tree.

When Scaler Academy called me up, I told them exactly the same.
Why would I pay 3 lakhs for learning Data Structure, algorithms and System design - when I can pay 1000 bucks and get quality content on Udemy and then pay $120 dollars for leetcode premium and practise my problems over there.
I asked them to compare the ROI (return on investment) for both - the guy at the other end couldn't answer for like a few seconds.
I disconnected the call. It's a big SCAM !!!

My question to you and all students is "Why don't you ask the same question to your College. You pay them too. Are they not supposed to teach quality content? Why are colleges given a clean chit for the same or even worse act?"

idk after watching this i am like, this person has so much knowledge in DSA problem solving things, and most importantly experience. Still he faced so much trouble, and meanwhile me, I mostly struggle to even understand naïve approach in dp problems. At this point i have no idea will i ever progress, because i visually cant see any progress in me in terms of problem solving in DSA. Bro please make a video about your experience's at the very beginning, and how to master the problem solving.

I was not interested in joining Scaler Academy but I came here through the CodeForces blog. But, somehow I came across their quora thread also and saw that some of their own students were only promoting scaler academy on the thread.
I had a question, I am currently in 2nd year and considering to do the InterviewBit questions (only, the ones that are free) because they are categorized in a section. Should I do that or just stick to leetcode and hackerrank?
Also the thread was closed after promotion so that no one else could comment further. Yeah you can practice over there, its good, I never complained about it, it has a limited number of problems which is really good instead of the huge pool at leetcode, you can complete at IB and then move to LC.

I understand what you are trying to say will share it with all my friends so they don't fall prey to the scam plus That's not how an ISA(Income share agreement) works . Those are money minting on already capable students that's not how Edtech works really disastrous.
Many big companies will actually not allow tier 3 college guys to sit for interviews. They hire only tier1 students for SDE roles and tier2 for testing roles.

I think Coding Ninjas and Coding Blocks are much better than Scaler academy. Atleast they don't promise false jobs and don't take dsa exams before enrolling and teaching us. But the best way is to learn by self study. Thank you for your insights brother. 🙂👍

I am from a tier 3 CLG and I came to know many things after watching ur videos. I created a account for scalar edge to see what's happening there . They called me after that day and they sent a zoom link and asked me to join for 30min . In those 30min they explained the whole thing. Later I was confused to join or not . I thought I saw the thumbnail of this video before and after the meeting has ended I directly watched this video and the explanation u gave is eye opening for many students. Now I have an clear idea of what to do next and how to prepare . Thanks for everything and we need a guy like u to have passion and guts.

And interview programming and competitive coding although align but def not the same.
Most of div2,3 A,B,C are implementation or strings or some times binary search. Hardly you will see stack or linked list problems. But they are most common in interviews. Graph, trees, DP problems you'll encounter in D, E problems. But you won't encounter that much difficult questions in interviews.
April Academy student , Tier 2 college(2020 grad). I joined scaler(InterviewBit) for referrals. After joining they kept adding new new conditions everyday that was neither present before nor told when I joined. First they added 70% problem solving criteria than mentor session and attendance criteria.
I did everything Crossed 70% & minimum mentor session every thing they asked. And I full filled each and every criteria. Than they came up with new "excuse". They told me that "we have referrals for immediate joiners and you are not yet graduated so wait for it".🤣🤣 Just one question if you don't have referrals for freshers than why did you promised. You should have started it for passouts.
Passouts don't need interview it they can simply get referrals, we need interviewbit not as tution but for some referals.As for Ds or algo lectures we get get plenty online many better than the one on interviewbit

Scalar called me 5 time I gave a try to the test and got passed, gave the test because the person triggered me. They try to put your moral and confidence down and after that they say that how scalar can enhance your confidence and what you will have after 10yrs and all it's shit.

They called me today bro. They are desperate to make other join. I would recommend most new ones or experienced ones, anything that forces indirectly and try to make haste payment, they consider as scam.
They tried forcing or making pay quickly as possible, and if asked about time to think, they try to give you 6 hours, as they know, the delay they make, they won't get payment(fool).
To be clear, even 2019 people are also not getting referrals😂

If you are not confident with Ds Algo and other things of the curriculum, then yes this course is really helpful. The instructors are really good.

I applied for this April batch Solved 4 questions (3 accepted + 1 partial accepted due to timeout) but did not get selected . thought of trying one more time after practising more on ds and algo but after watching this I will continue on my own

Came to your video after searching for ways leave a review for scaler academy.
I am a restarter and on a recruiter's suggestion I checked their website and also took up their test. When the course fee was mentioned I declined as I was not in a position to pay that kind of an amount.
Yesterday I got a call again. First he asked my year of graduation. Then he did not ask me about my apprenticeship or first two jobs. Then he asked me were you laid off?
They are just looking for excuses to make people feel less about themselves and show that they can be their saviour.
How come he asked about year of graduation but not my 2 employments and apprenticeships all at known companies?
I would have trusted/Agreed to your comments on Scaler if you have the full attendance and cleared the problems solving more than 70% which they asked while joining itself and told that if you have the score more than they expected, referee will have a trust to refer and will take forward. any college, they do have some norms to check the student strength and most ways is attendance & score in tests. The same way for scaler premier institute also. if you have score of 70%, then whether they are able to refer or not, I am not sure though. Placements aside, their cirriculam and way the course organized is too good and worth to go through once..
It's good if more people don't join. Those who have gone through the curriculum know it's worth. Competition would be less in market. 😅
I asked them u ask for 3 lakhs for the course, do you guarantee the course takers about getting a good job ? They told even if you take admission into IITs or IIMs they don't guarantee about job .. Just see our placement stats that is audited 😂😂. Thanks for the honest review bhai

Really Bhaiya , scalar also forced me to join them by paying about 1 lk plus the base after job , i consistently denied them still they kept calling and after a limit ,they started showinh their true colors claiming you cant land any job , scalar can make u left behind without connections ,so i only now have the option to join ...then i switched from a geek to a UP guy to have some really "polite" words with them , now they dont dare to call .

The same is the case with coding club too though their fees is only 4000. They ask you to solve as much questions as you can and people just solve easy and very easy questions and get happy. The mentor gives video lectures for some questions which you can easily find on youtube. Just a waste of money if you think you will get better. They are only for beginners.

Scaler is hradly concerned with the student's issues .They are merely concerned with the money they receive from them ..that are completely focussed on marketing on TH-cam ..Every other video in youtube has Scaler's promotion .They collect money from students and invest it in promotions to get more money ..Marketting guys will not let to live or die in peace till you join scaler.And marketing guys are hired and fired every now and then .. How do these people see their faces in the mirror every day or face their parents and family ..Open loot in the name of tech education and placement in prod companies ....
