I like the front mounted pump ( over the side pump set up ) much easier to use ( all of the rigs on the departments I volunteered with were front pump , oldest being a 74 ford 900 , newest an 85 ford canam in Manzanita and Wheeler Oregon ) before the switch to Nehalem Bay fire rescue .
In Michigan they only have a few fire trucks with front mount pumps around in Indiana they have a lot of front mount pumpers if you ever been on the website Indiana fire trucks . Com
41 is, there’s a similar engine, 43, also with front pump. The Ford brush is still there, the ambulance was replaced. They’ve also gotten (I presume to replace 42) a ‘91 Spartan engine out of Portland.
Hate to Break it to ya. But it's Got a Ford badge. Sterling was Founded in 1998. After Ford Dropped the heavy Truck line. And it was picked up by Daimler AG. So. No. It's. A. Ford.
There’s one town in Michigan that still has 1975 Chevy front mount pumper still in service
very nice video, excellent way to let the public in so we can to show them a different side of the fire dept.

Yes, a 3000 gallons Tanker with a 1000 per minute pump.
SIRENNET does the tanker have a front mount pump like the rest of the trucks
