YES! Thats what happened! I was out partying one night with a friend and the stalker pretended to be gay like my friend and dead drunk so he had to carry him amd they were supposed to go to my friends place but went to mine against my will nc I libed closer and he needed to use the bathroom so the stalker found out where I lived. I shooed him off but then the calling started. 20-30 times a day and he hasnt stopped 7 years later. Finally after 15 years with the same number, I had to change it. 7 years...

yes, but if he was rich and beautiful you already had a desire, it is very easy for you to reject someone who has true feelings for you, just because he is not the enchanted principle.
Taking a self defense course helped me have confidence and provided me with choices when protecting myself. You don’t have to live in fear. You can protect yourself.

I'm a man and was stalked by a man. It was the creepiest thing. He followed me from city to city and even to a foreign country, showing up at random times. I had to tell his family, and that did the trick. That was ten years ago.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing and I’m a male 24 years of age and the guy stalking me follows me on foot and with a vehicle when I’m alone and I’d say he’s in his mid 40s
He keeps saying “I know who you are” meanwhile I don’t know him at all. And he won’t give up his name at all either. Extremely terrified of this man and just want to live my life 😢

I had the same thing happen with a friendship gone bad, I’m a female 26 being stalked by a female 35, and I had to tell her niece about it to stop her coming in my store and bothering me, and it worked but she came in again last week and requested to be instagram friends yesterday, I immediately blocked her but now I’m afraid she is going to start coming in and bothering me again. I’ll probably just tell her niece again if she does, though I don’t wish to bother her niece.
Going through this is unsettling. I don’t wish it on anyone.

I had a stalker called Shea. God, she was ugly and crazy and no one wanted her. I had to quit my job to get away from her. I'm Asexual and I was kind to her and felt sorry for her. I will never feel sorry for anyone, ever, again.

it's almost the same experience as mine, my stalker thought that I am the one stalking them, just because I am 'eyeing' them. we are on the same class from 10th grade till now and I couldn't even look at the teacher, fearing they will think that I like them, even though I have made it clear that I will never ever dated them. i regretted to have ever pity them and try to be kind to them.

I was stalked for 11 years. There were death threats, tracking devices, online threats, harassment, threats towards my kids. I moved several times. It cost a lot of money. Not much help from police.
They up the ante if you don't talk to them.
At this point you throw money at people who can take care of special people like stalkers.

The police man told me that it is common and to join the club. It took over 2 years, moving, changing my phone number and my job to lose the stalker.

This is my third too. Last two were 20 years ago. Those were complete strangers. One was watching me from across the street before approaching me for awhile. This is ruining me this time. It’s not cute nor fair for a woman that minds her business to go through this. It’s tearing me apart mentally

Gradually try to wean yourself off any social media addictions, just close all your accounts if you can and or set everything to private, stop sharing so much information. Let them know your just another person, if they still don't get it gather evidence then take it to your local court and judge.

A bunch of girls in my friend group and I are currently being stalked at our college. For me, it started with him targeting me whenever I was alone, but was usually by coincidence. However, just last Thursday, that escalated quickly to following me around while with a girl he also stalks. This really helped and I'll take the advice to heart.

I've happened to be the top worker for 38 years and have never been suspended. These bullies are jealous and miserable people. Union, manager, HR and the police are all totally useless. Bullies are lazy bums and stupid managers are scared of the bullies. They say about me I'm crazy, I drink, I'm a stalker all bs defamation of character. The biggest mistake since they removed disciplinary measures. They should arrest the bullies and fire the manager. Action speaks louder than nasty words. It destroyed my reputation. I will never quit to make these lazy bums ever win. If I decide to transfer to another hospital and may start mobbing me once again, I don't know all the new managers etc. like in every department like now. So best to not change hospitals. I will never let bullies try to control me from quitting. Never let these low life lazy bums win ever win.
Idk if it’s specific to my city, but a detective called me and came to my house to ask more questions. Then he went directly over to the perps home and confronted him. He told him, exactly what I said. That she doesn’t want to have to press charges, but she can. He gave him the instructions that if caught on my street he would be arrested and charged. I let it be known indirectly through social media, that I owned something for self protection, and I avoided having a consistent schedule. I also got a family dog. A Boxer Bull Mastiff. I can’t say enough good things about that dog. Ferocious bark, willingness to attack on command, and sweetness and protection to family.
Hopefully that worked out. Many of the non-violent stalkers will respond well to being confronted. They are often clueless and didn't even realize that their dedication/obsession went to the level of stalking. It's the ones that don't stop even when confronted by the police that are truly scary.

A student from a school I once taught in grew up to become my stalker 😢. When I blocked him on all personal platforms, he resorted to contacting me on my professional platforms. This crazy man has been persuing me with the same insanity for five years now. I know a restraining order will literally do NOTHING.
A lot of women do NOT let stalkers down easily. They are usually the ones who are KILLED right then and there, or shortly afterwards.
The way to do it is to be respectful but direct and final.

I read that book very good. My ex husband has been stalking and harassing me for four years after divorce restraining orders didn’t work it’s a constant nightmare.
I did. More than 20 years ago. My family took care of him. I know nothing else. 😶
Restraining order didn't do shit in my case. Police advised me to get one, so I did, then when I reported to the police that my ex violated the RO, the officer wanted proof. Been dealing with this for 2+ years. HE gets to go on stalking me with zero consequences.
You know that's where I'm confused and I really would like a straight answer the magistrate tells me if he violates the protective order that I am to go to the magistrate straight away. But if my property is destroyed and I call the police to report it and get a report number and the officer's name the officer just sits there and tells me that there's nothing that they can do unless they actually see it so I'm confused. I've been to the magistrate when I had proof from a webcam. The stocking continues violation of protective order continues and I hesitated to go to the magistrate over Petty text messages and phone calls but I guess I should have because I ended up paying a large price when he showed up at my door and beat me up

My stalker is someone diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder (part of that is being completely delusional about reality). Got a 10-year protective order in like 2018. He violated it several times resulting in a couple felonies and misdemeanors (some plead down). Then, radio silence from about 2019ish to early 2022. He asked for the PO to be dismissed. I objected to the dismissal and the Judge agreed that the PO should remain in place. Radio silence for about 10 months. Then, he left the state and has started calling me again intermitently for last 3 months from a mental hospital across the country. It's now early 2023. 2 more violations and warrants resulting from those several calls and about to be a 3rd. I'm grateful he is out of state but this is the most fucked up shit ever. Its been going on 6YEARS since we dated (and that was only for a few months on and off). He is so fucking mentally ill. It's scary and I hate it and it sucks. LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. I'm glad I have not engaged when he has called, I simply hang up.

A mistake people make with stalkers is to intermittently respond. Any response reinforces the problem.its tough to do, I know. This obsession is an addictive personality issue. It's the way gamblers get hooked. Law enforcement is abysmal at assistance in my case. Cyberstalking is so easy now and USA has zero data privacy laws.
A woman friend of mine began to be obsessed with me and taking pictures of me when we were house sharing for two months. I had to distance her after she told me she had feelings for me (not reciprocal). Once she realised I was not getting in touch any more she stirred problems with friends I befriended through her. After a few years of not seeing her and no contact I was at a public event and turned around and she was standing right next to me taking pictures of me in my face. I had to run away as fast as I could. I wanted to report her for harassment but didn't. It's been 6 years since the last event.. hopefully I will never see her again. My mistake was having a soft approach since the beginning since I knew she could turn violent. It has thrown me into a depression and was kind of traumatic.
I had a rock hard approach, that didnt help either. Ive screamed, gotten husterical, begged and pleaded to be left alone. It helps a few months then its the same again.
You have no idea about my situation, I posted it up top. I’ve battled depression as well dealing with this.
But we as men must prevail. Im a photographer/videographer as well. Im gone change my channel to discuss these things and come up with solutions of how to deal with the matters at hand. My life has been destroyed by a stalker and my ex. The stalker lied and told the chic I was dating that we were having sex. A downright lie. Well I blocked both of them because I was tired of the headache because the chic I was dating supposedly had the girl on block.
Well they emerged as friends and two weeks later, I got served a restraining order “BY THE STALKER”!!! & arrested for a domestic violence charge against the chic I was dating. I hadn’t seen, spoke or thought about either one of them and was finally enjoying the peace.
They timed it for me to be locked up on September the 8th, WHICH IS MY BIRTHDAY! 😢
Im currently going to court now trying to prove my innocence with proof from texts and my location of the day the chic claimed I assaulted her. All she had to do was go downtown and make a sworn statement and the police showed up at my home and arrested me as me and my employee were headed out to work. Im a small business owner. The chic I was dating currently lives in my passed away fathers house with her entire family and has become friends with the stalker.
I have NO IDEA what to do other than proving my innocence first dealing with my ex and afterwards I’ll go see someone about the stalker. But I have all the texts though….

My neighbor has been competing with me since I moved in about 10 weeks ago. She wants me gone is watching me-- every day she rushes home from work at any moment, tearing down the road as if trying to catch me doing something "wrong" that she can get me kicked out for. She's yelled into my cabin a few times (she has my number), she was next to my front door filming my dog a few days ago to try to catch her doing something wrong, and yesterday she found my shoes in the yard and threw them in the trash. I've been slinking around trying to avoid her pretty much since i moved in, but it's so uncomfortable. I'm keeping a record of her actions and reporting to the landlord.

One thing I noticed about stalking cases in crime documentaries is that stalkers definitely snap if a restraining order is served. I think the best way to avoid them is to immediately get out of your area and move to a different city.

I have two stalkers from my apartment complex that follow me from time to time.. it's weird. I have a feeling that my manager is involved or knows about.
I did inform my therapist and a police officer. This has been going for a while. Recently I wanted to move out of this apartment for a better remodeled on. The manager was gladly to help, but he wanted to place me next to the creepy men that stalked me from time to time. Anyway I siad no thanks.
My apartment was broken into a few times. Things moved around or things messing. Supposedly someone had stolen the keys from the manager office( rumors around the apartments)
You can’t get a restraining order when HIS friends are stalking you
Get proof that the friends are involved. If you have that then go to the Feds, 3 or more people conducting bad behavior can be classified as a gang. Then that can do them for life.
I never be the one to tell nor press charges but at this point i have to protect myself

I have an ex-employer who has been harassing me for 3.5 years so far. I left her company because she was making passes at me and I’m heterosexual. She has blocked me from finding employment since all this time and is trying to force me to go back and work for her. It feels like stalking and everyone in the industry knows and no one’s doing anything to stop it.
A stalker has many of the same characteristics as the narcissist-- extremely self-centered and disregarding of other people.
The exact opposite end of the spectrum is the empath, who sympathizes with others so much that they actually feel what others are feeling. I'm a strong empath so it's exhausting to be in a crowd or living next to a narcissist who wants my head on a platter
Currently being stalked by a stalker who won't accept he's a stalker and is saying I am. I try to avoid him but he's still trying to ruin my life and constantly lies saying I'm looking at him or crap when I'm not. Basically we were friends but I left because he became really rude, so I'm going to try these. He also got his friend involved and is having his friend following me around and reporting back what I do.

My stalker is an old friend, a woman who I hadn't seen or heard from in many (at least) 40 years. All of a sudden she is obsessed with me and I feel very disturbed by her. I don't visit her or talk with her on the phone. She is on FB. I'm denying her wanting to meeting up and phone calls. I have told her I don't want to get involved with her but she is still pressuring me. I'm straight and I thought she was too. To tell you the truth im getting very concerned for myself . My dads ex came to the house tonight and it’s 9 Pm. She wouldn’t leave in till we told her we got weapons and going to get them. She broke into our garage yesterday while we were on vacation about 7 hours away. She had a good record of the past for being into federal prisons across our state for stuff such as, shop lifting, drug trafficking, and buying of the dark web. I’m intimidated because of she might come back, who knows what she may do. I didn’t say this but she also had a record for breaking into houses. Luckily I live right next to police barracks. But she might break in and I’m intimidated. She used to stalk us a long time ago to get my father to break up with my mother but didn’t work. This really helped me a lot, thanks.

i completely deleted my skype account because of one stupid stalker so i invited all my real life friends and gamer friends to move on discord and i'm glad i did, i never got annoyed from that ruthless stalker ever since. my gmail has no bank information or credit card account or cell phone data attached to it at all so my dad said theres nothing to worry about that, hackers only cares about money, they dont care about hacking a email address with no bank information or credit card at all
My stalker doesnt want romance, she wants to keep me from telling something I know about her so she causes me trouble all over the place so that no one will believe me. Now I think shes going to use some of her creeps to try to get me off youtube. She even set my phone so she could read my texts and do whatever I can do in it. Its been over thirty years so she must be terrified that I will tell what she does. I should have told a long time ago but there were extenuating circumstances.

The only real reason to pester someone who still hasn't spilled the beans like you describe, is a FAKE situation of "oh my gosh , its sooooo secret!!" When there isn't really any secret and nobody who (isn't dupped by her nonsense into caring about a fake non issue) doesn't care.
I grey rocked for about 4 months. When I went back online actively, he said he didn't want me anymore and was never getting back into this thing called love.
This video makes me understand about stalkers a little more. Although it has not happened to me directly, it has happened to a friend of mine online, and my friendship was INSTANTLY destroyed by a stalker before I even KNEW what was going on! Long story short: my friend's stalker befriended me to get to her. After tricking into saying hi to his victim, my other online friend had asked me "why did you say that this person said hi? The same guy who had stalked her for years?" I was so devastated, I didn't know how to even apologize to her. However, I when I asked to apologize to the victim for me, I was told that she had cut ties with me entirely. This incident happened just about a year ago and this it has made me more cautious onto who I'm talking to. I wish I could say sorry to her for not realizing her situation, but what was done is done.
Thank you so much for this video. I saw him today, and did not give him any attention. For the split second our eyes met, I saw deep hostility and psychopathy in his eyes. God help me. I almost got killed by this man, a couple of times. We must share the same environment now for a year, and likely every word I speak, every move I make is going to make him resent me and god forbid he may even use my everyday actions to become enraged at me and approach me in a vengeful way, it really is way too easy for him to find something to use as an excuse to abuse me. And now, even more than before, I imagine he feels justified. At the time I couldn’t realize many things he was doing to me, I couldn’t see the whole picture because I was always forced to deal withtrivial momentary things that resulted in me being questioned or abused or forced to have a meltdown, how he tore my very being to pieces and made me betray myself over and over again and practically brainwashed me. When I look back now though, I am like, “oh, now I see what this was” “so this was his tactic on X” and so on. I am now, finally, after long years of my youth spent on walking on eggshells just to keep him from being displeased at something, sober. I am sober from his gaslighting and brainwashing now and I am slowly beginning to understand everything. It would be so obvious in first glance to anyone in their right mind, that he was bending and shaping me to be however he liked, with incredible manipulation, physical force, and of course, kindness. But of course I was nowhere near being in the right mind and he was way too powerful to deal with. I don’t wish someone like him on my worst enemy. He was the very definition of a narcissistic sociopath. I hope this year ends safely and I never, ever have to see him ever again. I hope people like him go extinct on his planet, but again, I know they won’t.

I've been stalked for last 10 + years by a guy that I very shortly dated cuz I caught onto his psychopathic personality very quickly. And even though I have not made any attempts to communicate with him and in fact hidden change jobs change cities and states. He changes his Facebook profile and get the new one just to stay in contact with me every 3 years or so.... I can see his characteristic through it every single time and block every single one of his friends before blocking him. I wish he would just get a car wreck or something to make him go away.

It’s easy to know who’s stalking at you. When you know their name, address, where working: make a flyer and put everywhere with photos on it and warning everyone he/she is a stalker. Send this to their employer. Put on the internet in every social media. Your phone has his/ her electronically generated fingerprints anyways. That is in your phone, which is evidence of spying on you. Can not be deleted or removed. So you have every right to do that and you should do.
I am in a terrible state. I've had to deal with this for years. Told him we were only friends and that is it!!! Simple as that. He then still wanted to come round all the time. It got to much. So he became violent. 2 weeks ago, I had to have my window replaced, he sent me 90 messages yesterday and because I ignored him, he smashed my window again. I cannot sleep. My head is spiraling and I can't stop pacing. The window is easy to get through and I'm on my own... 😭😭

My stalker is very violent and I've been getting multiple POs for the last 8 years. Even with the newest one I believe I have footage of him out front of my home, he's using doctors and other people to harass me. It's a nightmare.

Save every bit of their stalking and harassment behavior. Go to the police, make a report and get a lawyer. I went through 4 long years of stalking & harassment by a woman, an older lady (I swear I'm not making this up) who is, according to my own therapist, sounds like a psychopath. She behaved like a jilted lover, although that was NOT the nature of our relationship. According to the cops she's got a history of harassing men she dates. Talk to a lawyer, protect yourself.
im dealing with a similar women at the moment.. im 26 and shes in her ealry 40's .. and her stalkerish behaviour has been going on for years with me through social media.. she was stalking my car after I had finished work just a couple days ago.. she was frantic with me... so i have now involved the police.. but at this time there is nothing they can do, because she hasnt "threatened" me... cops are useless

There's this guy from middle school who likes me since the 7th grade and confessed to me at 8th grade. I already reject him but he's not accept that answer. Unfortunately I was in the same high school as him but different major, and unfortunately again same extracurricular.
He thought I follow him and like him but I already told him that I, not even once, have a feeling for him. I told him so many times but this guy is just stubborn. One thing that makes me so annoyed and angry is that he literally come to my house, meet my parents and talk to them as if he knows my parents. I was at school at that time so my mom tell me what happened when I go home from school.
He literally watch me, stalk me, try to have a conversation with me in school. I ignore him SO MANY TIMES but he doesn't give up. Luckily I have a group of friends who will protect me and hide me whenever he's around and luckily next month, I'll be graduate from high school and move to another city to going to college so hope I'm not gonna meet him ever again in the future. But it's been around 5 years, almost 6 perhaps, he stalk me and find every single way to find information about me from anywhere and even tell ALL OF HIS FRIENDS that he likes me, even the teachers. It's so creepy, it's really terrifying.
Teenagers in particular can be very obsessive, but fortunately most of them grow out of it.

A lot of times,,, stalkers apply for jobs at the same place where his stalked target is already working. The interviewing (hiring) manager usually has no clue at the time that the male applying for the job is actually stalking one of his female employees. It can be a VERY scary world out there!
I have this guy across my house (I never met him before) but since November 2021 he has been coming at 11:30 every day except for now because he is coming Sunday and I swear he watches me. The reason is last time he came as of me writing this there was a snowfall and he had a sunsheild up , every time he comes he has the sunsheild with this akward gap at the bottom like you can pop a camera under.So why can I tell he is watching me ? It's because a week ago when I wrote this he came at 4 pm when there was a power outage and we have electric shutters and so he game at 4 pm and he was wiping his windshield with a wet rag.Now during his most recent visit he pulled up in his blue Suzuki and my father went out with our pitbull and he had his sunsheild up and before he the dog and my father could get there he left.
After he left, did he still come afterwards?

I have a stalker that I dated 20 years ago.. well, he found me. I dated him shortly after catching up. Seen and felt he wasn’t right in the head and told him we should just be friends. He then, took my identity and sold it to his peers. Ruined me.. the GBI called to tip me off. I told him and told him in black and white to never contact me again. He has stalked me in public and continues to reach out to me from different social media outlets. I block and screenshot. It’s been almost 3 years.. he’s still stalking me- talking to himself like a continued conversation. I’m tempted to get a restraining order but you said exactly what I was thinking. His family is well known and somewhat powerful where I am, he gets a slap on the wrist often. I’m sure this would escalate if I got a restraining order. Apparently I need to move
I have a stalker and he has begun to follow me. I know him and was just generally friendly towards him, then he gave me the creeps and now I avoid him like the plague. He has memorised my schedule and recently followed me close to where I live. Should I begin to tell people about this guy ? He is getting information on me from mutual friends too. I just had to delete all my social medias and pretty much disappear from the internet. He is now adding all my family and friends on Snapchat and Facebook. It’s scary. You don’t see this kind of behavior when you meet somebody. They look normal and act normal until everything changes but it happens so slowly that you don’t even realize it’s too late until it IS. So here’s to literally going into hiding.

I have a stalker in my life who's a dedicated shit disturber, messes with all my stuff when I'm not home ( including vehicle). He used to be my ex landlord. He'd charge tenants cheap rent so he could justify stealing from them. Anybody else deal with this kind of scenario ?
He is a narcissist. He enjoys seeing you hurt. Just get camera’s around the house and then wait a couple of times until you have enough evidence. Then push for a restraining order. After wards if it continues, jail time🙂

My mom has shown up to my work 3 times in the last year after going no contact when she kicked me out during a psychotic episode, and I think she’s getting close to finding out where I live if she hasn’t already. She says she’s “worried” about “me” aka not having unfettered access to me gives her existential dread as a parent. I’m lucky my colleagues are all super supportive but the situation is untenable and I have very little faith in local law enforcement, especially since you mentioned that more emotionally invested stalkers can snap with a PO :/ mall security escorted her out once and that scared her off for a few months but I need a way to drive her off for good. I don’t think merely switching jobs will be enough :(

Absolutely, why are there hundreds of videos telling women “how to make him obsessed with you” as if we’re supposed to WANT men to be completely weird, unstable and plain old obsessive. I’m sick of meeting weird men who never accept no for an answer.

Question: are you saying the best way to get rid of a stalker is to tell them in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that you are NOT interested in any relationship with them? Doesn’t that rejection trigger them? Isn’t this just like a restraining order? Thank you so much.
