@@annika5893 that was the vibe I was getting as well.
It wasn't directed at me, but my friend told me about how a friend she thought was her cousin (too much history to get into in a comment) told her "it's not sex if it's family, it's fine" when they were both 12. And I have a strong feeling that the niece may have been told something similar in the past. This sort of behavior doesn't come from nowhere, something plants the seed.

Re. Story 3: I’d frame the discussion with OPs dad as “I’m concerned Uncle has some sort of medical issue going on, like a brain tumour or dementia. He’s made graphic sexual comments and propositioned me, which is totally out of character for him. Someone needs to talk to him about seeing a doctor. Until we know what’s going on, I’m going to keep my distance”. If this truly did come out of nowhere, it’s possible that’s what has happened. And it gives OP a ‘delicate’ way to approach the issue.

But she didn’t though, because rslash misread the post. She said “you shouldN’T be ashamed to be barren”. 16:30 for the time stamp. @@itzTeTeI don't blame OP at all. I knew a grown woman with her sister's mentality. Let's call her Kelly. She always had to have her way. She had no respect for boundaries, zero comprehension of the word no being a completely valid response and no sense of accountability. Therefore she had no expectation of there being reprisals or consequences for her actions. If people wouldn't kowtow to her, tell her what she wanted to hear or simply disagreed with her or had a different opinion, she would interpret those people as being purposely mean to her. For context, imagine, if you will, a middle-aged woman with two grown children and was also a grandmother but had the emotional maturity of a spoiled five-year-old. Her first reaction whenever she didn't get her way or had a disagreement over something extremely petty or inane, was to talk crap about the other person. The end result was her usually throwing a temper tantrum that would have embarrassed a toddler. Eventually social media came around and she had a new source to get all the attention she ever desired. Naturally, Kelly being Kelly, she had a false sense of security that she could say and do whatever she wanted on whatever platform she was using without any fear of reprisals. Like with anything else in life, she didn't pay attention to the fine print. In this case, the terms and conditions of using said social media platform. She often got into flame wars in the comments section whenever someone disagreed with whatever paper thin argument she had. Read that as she only ever agreed with what was popular at the moment. Whenever anyone offered a rebuttal or told her she was wrong, she couldn't handle it. She would resort to personal attacks, name-calling and juvenile insults. I had to explain to her, shockingly, that what she was doing constituted libel. She refused to heed my warning and brushed me off. She was a former paralegal-in-training (I later found out that was a total lie) and she knew better. Well, to make a long story short she as well as everyone in a comment thread that were talking crap about someone's daughter were threatened with a libel suit. Kelly called me up flipping out. I wouldn't let her talk and simply said that I had warned her that her behavior was going to come back to bite her on her flabby butt. She said she had learned her lesson. I told her I didn't believe her and the next time she got herself into hot water I would remind her that she had claimed she had learned her lesson and would keep her nose clean. Naturally, if you're following along, I think you can figure out what happened next. The person she tried to screw over was me. Let's just say I went scorched earth on her and made her a pariah. Kelly is nothing but a lying grifter with zero skills or talent with no friends, no prospects and no contact with her grown children or grandchildren. Karma is a bitch.

However my body has a sick personality as i also don't produce enough hormone to keep baby in place, and as a result I misscarry usually by 12 weeks. I've had 14 pregnancies, 2 of them actually did give me children, however I didn't do pregnancy very well I got to 31 weeks with my first and 26 weeks with my second. I was shocked I carried at all but my drs think I was actually carrying twins and lost one tricking my body into sort of carrying my kids. When I say I don't produce enough hormone I have never had a positive pregnancy test result even 20 minutes before the delivery of my kids !! Although that did have its perks as I didn't get any pregnancy issues such as morning sickness etc. People.have no idea just how heart breaking it is to have a misscarrige or how common it is. Ok, my condition is very, very rare, one in a million rare. I've had people say well you lost it before 12 weeks so it's not really a baby until I point out actually a 12 week gestation misscarrige is actually a very very small perfectly formed baby, that usually has a shocked result. I mean… I have TMJ and had issues most of my life. One day an older kid started trying to bully my autistic toddler at the park. I told him that’s not ok, and if he doesn’t want to play with us and his little sister that would be ok, but he would have to be kind to keep playing with us and our toys. The kid yelled and the mom ran over full Karen mode, after not looking up from her phone for the past hour, and tried to yell at me and my son. Being a veteran and a mama bear, I yelled back in my DS voice. She hit me in the face with her oversized purse as hard as she could. I tackled her and held her until the police nearby made it into the play area fence, only like 2-3 minutes. At this point her kids were both crying and my son was blowing bubbles happily. I realized that night after icing my jaw that I could flex it without stiffness. No, I did not press charges (though I didn’t have to since it was in front of police), but I did speak for her husband during their custody hearing.

*First OP:* OP's boyfriend slapped OP's jaw into alignment? Sounds like a keeper!
Side note: as someone who experiences "Too Much Jaw" (lol), it hurts like heck. If someone could slap my jaws into alignment, I'd appreciate it.
*Second OP:* What in Jerry Springer's (RIP) name?
If the situation mentioned in the update is what I think it is, I hope OP's friends "take care of" OP's STBX. Best of luck to OP and the young man.
*Third OP:* OP's uncle knew OP since she was 7, and wants to have relations with her?! OP _should_ raise a stink! If her family _does_ sweep this under the rug, then OP needs to cut off contact and let _them_ figure out their new living arrangements.
I also agree with rSlash's advice that OP should tell her dad. If for nothing else, so that her dad would go Papa Wolf on the creepy uncle.
*Fourth OP:* Sounds like OP's husband needs to go No/low contact with his family. And the family needs to get Donna some help because ... 😧
*Fifth OP:* You know what they say about karma. :/
When OP mentioned her husband and her sister, I thought the the story would be about her catching them having an affair. I must be jaded.

My cousin also added she always wanted a baby and experience motherhood and pregnancy and she had 3 or 4 miscarriages and one stillborn before she had her miracle baby.

Story 5: OP said she “SHOULDN’T” be ashamed, that was misread. I think that was a beautifully subtle way of saying, “hindsight’s 20/20, huh sis?” People also need to understand that more pregnancies end in miscarriage than in viable fetuses, and even then miscarriage is super common before 13 weeks. Growing a human inside of us is a very complex process and our bodies sometimes need time to get it right. That’s not a reason to keep trying if you’re physically and emotionally drained, but it’s definitely a reason not to blame yourself.

The same evening, he came to me and yelled at me for telling her, but at least he never mentioned it again. From a niece being propositioned unwanted by her uncle to a niece unwantedly propositioning her uncle. This is the Sweet Home Alabama episode.

First story: I had something similar, but with my chiropractor 😂 I had TMJ w/jaw clicking, pain, etc for about ten years. One time I mentioned it to my chiropractor, and he brought out this little device and gave my jaw a huge “THUNK.” Fixed, and never returned!!! (Been about 8y since)

The story regarding the fertility issues was... rough, for several reasons.
I've always felt incredibly uncomfortable listening to "revenge stories", and even on a smaller scale like this it felt so... unneccesary. Yes, the sister was BEYOND horrible having said what the said, but here she was given a unique opportunity to reflect on how she acted in the past with her newfound empathy, and in her moment of weakness OP chose to get that revenge instead of talk about it.
I'm not saying she didn't deserve it, she certainly did! But, I just can't help but think of what could've been if she didn't. Hopefully, the two of them will have an open, honest talk about it later, and hopefully the sister will get a chance to apologize and reconnect.

I really wanna know if this comment was made with the knowledge that rslash misread the post and said ‘should’ instead of ‘shouldn’t’ at the end. I haven’t been able to find any comments talking about it

@@ellaelf5055 the more comments there are the more likely people will see them? Idk, I hope he makes a pinned comment with clarification because this ONE slipup just completely changed the story. He says usernames! That could get dicy for the op

@@Need2disconnect I did notice that before writing my comment, yes. Him misreading that part of the post was a bit painful though haha, it definitely made OP seem a lot harsher than she was.

Why do those first stories remind me of "Just smack the TV to fix it"

    Similar story to #1-
But it actually saved my life instead of just fixing something.
When my brother and I were younger (him about 13 and me 6-7), it was the 1980s. He had one of this toys that when you pulled a string, the toy would fly off and fly around the room.
He was mad at me and aimed in my direction.
It hit me and actually cut off the end of my nose. Blood everywhere and the tip of my nose just sitting on the floor.
My mom heard me crying, scooped me (and the piece of my nose) up, and drove us straight to the ER.
The doctor said they couldn’t reattach it, but then he looked closer at the piece and pulled out a little magnifying glass and flashlight.
He said it looked suspicious, and sent it off to be biopsied.
Turns out the doctor was a dermatologist doing an ER rotation as part of his continuing education.
And that piece that was cut off- turned out to be skin cancer.
I had to go back to see him, but the piece actually had clear borders, so I was cancer free!
And since it was cancer, insurance covered reconstruction surgery, so you can’t even tell it happened (except it turns white when I get really hot, red, and sweaty).

RE the woman with the perverted uncle.... if he has such a great reputation, you're going to need proof. Set him up somehow to 'discuss the situation' and record every second of it. But do it in a safe public place like a restaurant, not in his car some evening.

Last Story: OP said her sister SHOULD NOT be ashamed. The story was way less 'savage' than that. OP still tried to help her despite what the sister said

First story: If I had a nickle for everytime I'd heard of someone geting the hell knocked out of them fixed their body alignment issues i'd have a whole quarter. Which isn't much but that's way weirder than how that phrase usually goes!

    First story: I had a similar thing myself. I had a septum deviation for a long while, but never thought in doing surgery to fix it because it wasn't annoying or necessary. Well, one day I was at the bus, the driver had to do a sudden brake because someone tried to cross the street on front of it, and I literally flew through most of the bus' corridor and fell face-flat;
I broke my nose, and my face was a mess for a while, but when it healed... NO MORE SEPTUM DEVIATION. After it broke, it healed back in the position it should be normally, without the deviation. I even joked with my cousin when he did the surgery to fix his own septum deviation I could simply 'hit him in the face and save him the surgery's money.

I have a somewhat similar story to ones in the beginning. Around 2 years ago, I was cleaning the back area of the house, because my dog used it to do necessities. Now, in the coutry that I live, grassy backyards are not common in cities and the one we had had a tiled floor that go really slippery with water. If you hadn't guessed, while I was finishing and hosing the floor, I slipped, feel on my butt and, because I put my arms behind my back to catch myself, one of shoulders dislocated. I was screaming in pain and yelling for my parents to come, because it hurt just to move, but my dad was taking a while to come. While he was coming down, I tried to get up so I could get closer to the door and shoulder just popped back in place, and other than hurting for a couple days, it was just fine.

My mom (almost 50 now) used to have a knee that clicked when she walked. One day when she was walking it suddenly hurt a lot, and since then it hasn't clicked at all or hurt. It's really amazing how our bodies can just magically realign themselves from getting hit or improperly distributing weight
