Oof, I honestly feel how BOTH of y'all felt. 😂 I thought the singer was pretty off key or flat, or possibly his voice just isn't right FOR a Tool cover. BUT the singer was not terrible, he was on time. It does take balls tp cover a Tool song, and to give this singer some credit he is far better than most cover videos on youtube.

Not bad at all! being a Tool purist I'd say this cuts it close and it's really good, though a lot of liberties are taken on the rhythmic section (especially on the drums).

Singer is a bit odd, and the bass is a tad low in the mix, and guitar tone is a bit off, but other than that I really like this cover

Hey Keenan, Gabe the guitarist here. That's actually exactly how Adam plays it I skipped nothing. 3rd fret pull off to 0 then brush the A string after the pull off with your fretting hand. I did miss a couple notes here and there though!

This cover feels a little weak. The vocalist is lacking a certain intensity to his voice and the instruments somewhat lack punch.
Replace the bass player and you'll be all set.

i think with like a month more practice you guys wouldve been flawless, not to be critical, but this is entertainment afterall.. that bass line seriously needs to be fixed, especially on the solo before you say the devil and his had me down, such an epic moment in the song for it to be incorrect.
to the singer - you need to pause more and work on higher notes and when he sings them.. you sound flat

No. Vocalist messed up the first line, drummer missed the first beat. If you were 13 years old this would've been good. If you're gonna play someone else's stuff, especially tool, play it well. Create. Go do. Keep going.
