Cooper is extremely motivated so I would rather him split and do his own thing, rather then be disappointed, and wonder if he could have done it on his own the rest of his life. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying James isn't motivated but he seems like family is more important than a 90 hour work week. I bet Cleetus and Coop both wish they could leave at 5pm and turn off work every night.
@@lpe655 James probably loves what he does, he's living his dreams and being able to provide for his family, when his family grows up a little more it may be different. I feel like Coop had a completely different creative energy and idea for what he wanted to do. I'm happy for all of them.

Bitter sweet progression:
•Ruby becoming faster than Leroy.
•Toast belittling Neighbor.
•The El Camino thrashing Leroy and Ruby!
Toast will never belittle neighbor. Neighbor keeps on going and pops tires every rip.
Ruby being a full body auto car was always going to end up faster than Leroy. Toast is a totally different class of machine then neighbour. Neighbour is an unbelievable workhorse for the channel and is great for fan experience type things.
The elco similarly to Toast is a next level build that is even more purpose built race car and less street car so it was always going to be faster.
It’s all about having a diverse fleet that is down for any level of competition and entertainment.
Ps. Toast is just a burnout car.
@@NellisNelson Both Mullet and Toast are highly likely to be groomed as street cars regardless of them being High-caliber machines. They want to use Mullet for race-week and the full sumernats experience involves a street cruise.
Obviously Leroy and Neighbor are the Channel's Golden children being the OGs and all, but I can't help but think that Ruby may be displaced when Mullet's due for dyno days and dialing him in.

@@lirwin89 for 6 seconds Ole Leroy needs some body panels tho for better aero, else he gets top speed limited, also dunno if Cleetus wants to go that fast with a rear-ended frame.
@@dbeerewout Even some subtle aero panels would help. I like the idea of a big clear plastic body, like an rc car. Remove it for shows or whatever, put it on for racing. But I'm sure someone would get offended if he did that.

As a 35 yr welder and a former welder for Kooks Headers,.....and I'm probably telling you something you already know,....you have to "stop drill" the crack. Granted, time and heat repeated cycles will kill anything but inconel. But,...if you're repairing a crack,...drill a small hole(1/16") at each end. of the crack. Then weld up.
I do the same thing when I'm plastic welding. Works great.
Just wanted to say thanks man, I had some Kooks headers on my last gt350 and they were absolutely gorgeous, top notch quality coming from you guys over there
I have zero welding experience but that's a good little tid bit to put in the bag of tricks

Normally I do but these were so past saving and brittle from work hardening (and total lack of time to remove the headers) I couldn’t drill or cut the cracks and risk metal going through the turbos so we welded it for one event with the knowledge of needing a full rebuild of them after. A stop drill and good cleaning makes a work of difference though!!
James is going to be managing a team of mechanics soon to keep up with this fleet.
Who else is stoked to see Leroy get these upgrades.. if any car deserves it is d say it's Leroy..the staple of the channel for sure..

My throttle set up was like that on my injector hat and it was max touchy, I called Benny Nogas and he made the car so much more driveable! Make sure you bring it up with him if you find it’s super super touchy, mines now setup like warbird and killab

All I can say is that I am beyond stoked for Indy. Whatever makes it here is great. I’m already getting my camera bag sorted out for the day. Also, bring clothes for anywhere between 40-80F. You may very well experience both extremes in the same day. May is a weird month for weather here in Hoosiervania.
And if you get a little dizzy from the burnt fumes the turbos and engine make try making it so that thing that is on the turbos witch pushes out the fumes try putting those pipes toward the buttom of the cars chassis

Toast is nuts all that crazy hardware on a 3rd gen freaking awsome.
for the distilled water we are a shop down the road and have Zephyrhills drop off a couple 5 gallon jugs when they bring by our water bottle order. Saves you alot of time!
The amount of fun that can be had with chro-moly tubing, Bender and a welder is immense.
Take the Suzuki off the frame. Cut out some plates and make a mounting point for the tubing with some hym joints. Start the off-road suspension project!

Scotty Cannon gave me a piston and rod out of his LiL Red Pro Mod, Many years ago. I mounted it as a hood ornament on my 68 Ford Galaxie. My kids would lay down in the floor when I would take them to school in it. It was straight piped out between the front and rear doors on both sides of course. The kids called it the nanner boat cause it was yellow. You could blow the back tires off doing power brake burn outs. Hell yeah brother
Here in Indy, it's only been cool during the evenings and I live only 2 miles from the track, so pretty accurate weather wise. Though the days have been windy lately so take that into account as well.
