Joe Nina's pedigree of love songs is second to none, and with the release of his hit single 'Pascalina', he solidified his position as a love song maestro in the South African music scene. He is able navigate between R&B, Kwaito and Afro-Pop with great ease.
Pascalina became an instant hit with his fans and to match his evocative lyrical delivery and overall rhythm of the song he commissioned Sello Nahshon Khaoli and his collaborator Thabo Motloung courtesy of Bazala Entertainment to produce a timeless music video.
What they conceptualized also became a timeless 60s themed dance music video featuring an ensemble of professional dancers dressed in period costumes and delivering the most endearing choreographed dance sequences, with a touch of humour.
The music video was directed and edited by Sello Nahshon Khaoli, with Thabo Motloung overseeing the production coordination. Cinematography was undertaken by Nic Mphahlele, assisted by Steven Ndou as Gaffer.
