Love your birch-collection, mate. I‘m quite curious on the reveille of your fusions trunk. Ready to be showen in a top international show in Tokio 😄👍😘 Enjoy your day ❤
Hiya Tony. The first Silver Birch is lovely with the white bark on the trunk. You must have had it for a while to get that. Thanks for your videos; keep having fun with your trees.
That funky shaped tree looks a lot like the ground planted birch I have thickening up. Potentially you could cut that right back towards the bottom of the long straight upright in early spring and it will throw out new branches and buds at the cut site and just above the crazy bends. Great material to work on 👍
I agree with you Tony - something really sweet about sitting in the shade on a sunny day and pruning to shape. I love your birches - most that I see are dead straight, but yours appear to dance. How long does it take for the bark to transition to its silver colour?
Do like a good fusion got a big group of oak going at the moment. Lovely trees as always Tony
Miss you Tony, you’re a great loss to the bonsai community. Was looking forward to coming to see you next year ❤❤
😢
Thanks Tony. Love the looks of that fusion. All the best mate ❤
Cheers, I'm hopeful that it will develop into quite a graceful Bonsai
Interesting little fusion there Tony
Good luck with them 👍👍
Alright Tony. Think I would have pruned back to the right now. Nice tree.
Loving the birch!
Cheers mate
I am definitely intrigued by that silver birch fusion - that will be a brilliant 'show and tell' next year when the vet tape comes off :)

I think they'd have heart attacks if I rolled up with my crazy trees
Ohh man i love them birch trees!!! they are looking amazing Tony!

Cheers mate. Most of my birch are Yamadori, so they're probably a good 10 years old
Always a pleasure to watch you video's mate. Thanks for still pushing out contents and having fun with the trees
The ending gave me a strange feeling of Deja vu
🤣🤣I forget and accidentally used that clip twice
Love it! Did you prune it in August? Is this a good time to do this kind of work on deciduous trees?

I've never been much of a sun worshiper.. give me some nice shade anytime
The wire on your fusions seems to be biting in already.
I think it will be fine until the spring. Perhaps some light bruising but I doubt it here will be any scarring under the vet tape
👍👌🙂
