I love watching your videos and completely understand if you don't vlog as much since studies are more important. I know since I was a healthcare major! Good luck in your studies!
I love watching your videos. It has been 50 years since I started university. I remember fondly (not) using my slide rule in chemistry and math. In fact, I still have it somewhere. We were only allowed to switch to calculators when the majority of the class had one - they were very expensive. My best friend (and the most brilliant person I have every met) could out calculate anyone using her circular slide rule. I think you have a wonderful future ahead.
I honestly look up to so much ,I am in year 11 about to do my GCSES , do Oxford take into account your GCSES.I thought the GCSE work load was enough but uni sounds stressful 😭. Good luck for your next term ❤️
Plz help me I’m about to pick my GCSE’s and I want to pick music. I am a self taught guitarist idk what grade I am or anything like that I like to work on my own pace and the fact that I don’t take guitar lessons makes me doubtful if I should pick music or not. I always loved playing the guitar but sometimes I worry that will be a flaw to be self taught and taking it for gcse. Please share ur opinion on this I would absolutely love to do gcse music just a bit worried. Sry I wrote this comment on ur music composition vid then found out abt this channel, just want some advice plz.
I’d suggest for you to ask the music teacher about this? It kind of depends on how good you are. Play some guitar for them and get their opinion, I’m pretty sure you need to be around grade 3 level for GCSE music. When I started GCSE music, I wasn’t taking lessons, but then the music teacher signed me up for lessons at school coz I wasn’t that good lol and having a teacher to help me improve would’ve been good. I’m sure you’re decent, so it’s probably fine as you have close to two years to practice the performance anyway but just check with the music teacher.
There is a lunch break! You can go for lunch at any time you want for however long you want, I usually take one for about 40 minutes, not too long or else I won’t get the lab done on time 😭😭
Thank you so much for sharing the actual workload in chemistry at Oxford. I am going to start my first year at ox chem as well, and now I feel I really need to prepare for it.🥹

Do you get marked for attendance even if some lectures or tutorials are optional?
I’ve never heard of tutorials being optional 🤔 They don’t take attendance for lectures, it’s your choice whether or not you attend
Nice video, nothing good comes easy
Do you not not get a lunch break on your lab days ?
