Number international roaming karwana is the only option hai for using UPI or card which require otp ya toh sare booking India se karvake jaye ya koi freind ya family member ko request karo India se karne when you’re in Thailand

Should never deposit passport as security for rental bikes. Rather deposit cash. Passport is your identity in a foreign land, and it's not a good idea to leave it with anyone. Good rental bike shops don't ask to deposit your passport as security.
You’re right on your part. Absolutely yes. But in most south east Asia countries with all the incidents and accidents Which happen with all kinds of tourists (Indian and others) and the affinity to run away from the incident and causing financial damages to the bike owner along with other problems is why the passport as a deposit is the only policy they trust in my opinion.

Hi! Phuket and Krabi are next to each other and is in the south of Thailand. Whereas Pattaya is in central they both are far away from each other. But if you want to do the coral island your. It’s a a nice thing to do. So go ahead.

It’s an off chance that it may rain that time but I’ll tell you one thing rains there are not like rains in India that fall for 8 hours straight. It rains for a few mins a day and then it stops. So it’s not going to be an issue as such.

Welcome and thanks for the comment! International is not required but yes please follow rules there as I saw during my trip many people were being ambushed and fined by the cops there. So follow all rules at all times

Only other way is to either pay a heavy deposit or get an international license from India done.
What about visa free arrival in Thailand after May 10, 2024. Will it be free or visa on arrival is applicable?
It’s visa free till 10 may 2024 but I feel it’s going to be extended but in if it’s not then yes visa fees will be applicable.

Not really. They are not checking it. But if you want peace of mind then carry 3-4K Bhat and then show the rest in bank of they ask. But trust me they don’t ask.
