Ma Long has such a great consistency that's unreal and not matched by any player. He has refined his skill and fast counter to his opponents so much that nobody can get near him. A true legend, especially after injury and at his age. LGY and FZD are close but not near enough. LGY has improved a lot over the last 12 months but FZD hasn't. However, once Ma Long steps up in any game, he'll just fly away.

What is really amazing about ML is not even the number of all of his titles(which is really incredible) but the fact that after winning all of that he still able to keep himself highly motivated, Unlike Zhang Jike who lost his spirit and desire to train hard after winning the second WC title, ML seems to stay hungry as always.

Ma Long wins his record 28th world tour title in style, beating worthy opponents like Fan Zhendong, Harimoto, and Lin Gaoyuan giving away a maximum 1 set for each match(except the final). When you thought he would peak in the mid 2010s, he reaches a whole new level.
He's too good ALLROUND, opponents play some incredible points and win them, but unsustainable vs ML. He's just too good for anyone. If the games were to 21 still, he'd be untouchable
@@Tahucool The games were closer between Harimoto and Ma Long. Actually there were many shots that Harimoto executed brilliantly that most players would have not stood a chance, but Ma Long is not your ordinary competitor.
That's because Harimoto's style is a good counter against Ma Long. The only weakness of Ma Long is his backhand. Backhand to backhand rally is what he normally use to control the rally but its not easy against strong backhand players like Harimoto. In the past, it was Zhang Jike and Wang Hao who gave Ma long the same trouble.
There's literally no one to stop ma long from getting every title now, only age can stop him, and he still has a good few years which means he can possibly get the Olympic gold

I felt bad for Lin Gao Yuan. Been watching him in the final for quite a few matches, but every time when he almost touches the trophy, Ma Long is there waiting. However, I believe this is not the end of him. Hope he learns something during these matches with Ma Long, and I believe he can have his new championship title soon. From the moment Liu Guo Liang came to the stage and gave the trophy to Ma Long, I felt so touch for Ma Long, and suddenly Liu stands between and hugging both Ma Long and Lin Gao Yuan, I have seen that Liu is satisfied with Lin Gao Yuan performance so far. As we all know he is sucks against his own teammates, especially his performance in China Super League, but against a foreign player, I still not see him lose to any in the year 2019.
When you see such a ma long play, the obvious feeling is that he still has a decent amount of equipment and tactics, and if he loses 1 or 2 sets, he only needs to remember himself and cannot be stopped ... Stunning willpower. Man!

It is just amazing how ML can win again and again even after coming back from a serious injury. I am happy to see he is recovering well, but also a bit worried about the future of CNT. With Japanese team rising, and no one can still beat ML who is gonna retire in three years (like Ma Lin and WH), still, no one can beat them. It was always the case where the younger generation can beat the elder ones because of new techniques and age (like ZJK beat WH), but it seems not happening this time. It can be a good thing though because we may see ML still playing for a longer time.

Oui grave, puis ce qui est hallucinant, je sais pas si t'as remarque, c'est que j'ai l'impression qu'il se fait une seconde jeunesse à ce niveau ( vitesse de transition, explosivité, flexibilité) alors que pendant une période je trouve qu'il avait un peu plus aménagé son jeu en fonction de son âge.
