    Being a woman who had an abortion when I was young, an on drugs,my feelings were simply I knew I couldnt take care of that baby.
    I was young and fallen away. I wonder now every day what my child woulda been and how beautiful my life woulda been. At 17 I was allowed to do this with no explanation. I'm just so sorry and I'm so glad I have a Father who is forgiving and has my child in his arms now and I'll see it again. I'm sick of the excuses. Murder is murder.

      Me too.. and people don’t talk about that part .. I had abortions 25 years ago and planned parenthood lies to u.. we didn’t have google and TH-cam... if I did I honestly don’t think I would of gave in..I knew in my heart it was a baby and wrong but I believed them to extent.. and I was pressured to do it.... 2 in and 1 out and though I walked out it’s like my heart broke and stayed with my babies bc I was never the same ..I killed my babies .. and that killed me inside.. and sent me down a spiral of self hatred.. that took years and years to recover.. Jesus let me know my babies are in Heaven...I killed more than 1.. I really really wish it wasn’t a option then or now.. bc even though I know without doubt my babies in Heaven happy... it doesn’t change what I did to them.. I Thank Jesus for his mercy and grace.. I thought I was going str8 to Hell for years I was terrified but knew I deserved it but Jesus forgave me and I believe my babies forgave me too but it still hurts me.. bad.. 🥺✝️🙏❤️

      Rouvark correct me if I’m wrong but a Christian world view leads to parents disowning children for being gay. Or sending them to some BS conversion therapy. Or treating them like dirty sinners that are hell bound, so a Christian worldview can fuck right off. Secular morality is superior.

    • @melissamay1012
      @melissamay1012 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Assuming all Christians share the same stance on something is simply wrong.
      Not all Christians would disown their children for being homosexual, nor do all Christian's "hate" gay people. True Christian's believe "don't hate the sinner, hate the sin", alot of people call themselves Christians to make themselves seem like good people. But theres a big difference between calling yourself a Christian and actually being a Christian.

      @Paperflower. 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@keef5 not all Christians are like that. you shouldn't assume things like that. rather, you should be asking if Christians are like that not assuming that they are like that. My mother is loving patient and kind and although I'm not gay and don't see myself or my siblings ever heading into that area, she would not abandon us. she would talk to us, try to find the underlying reason why there was such a drastic change. Ye, she wouldn't accept it, but she wouldn't resort to such cruel measures. In the end, every single Christian and person on this earth is a sinner. even the pope. no one is perfect. But if you seek Jesus... repent and trust him, you can turn away from those sins. She would try to make us see that message in the most gentle way she could.... doing what Jesus would do because God still loves us... he just hates the sin.
      The parents who do that sort of thing... I wouldn't say that they aren't Christians because no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. We each have our own journeys with christ that we'll finish at different times. Isn't it weird how we rarely get to see their perspectives on the matter. And... if they truly love their children then deep down they must be regretting their decisions.
      Assuming is one of the biggest mistakes I've made throughout my short 16 years of life. Because I don't know what goes on in other people's lives... all I did was pick out the negative opinions or facts that I heard and made it the whole story. It doesn't have to be that way... and you know it really helps to try and see through the other persons' eyes.
      I'm sorry that my reply ended up being so long but i hope you have a nice day or night and may God bless you . :)

      @D1sc0rd- ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brittanylewandowski6200 Sorry for writing an essay at you, that’s my fault, I’m really bad at keeping things brief. I hope you can read through what I’ve said slowly at least once and know I am not trying to win over you in a fight, only trying to help you because I’ve been in your shoes.
      That is just rhetoric which you can buy into because of your disposition towards God.
      To say that the person of Jesus Christ and the entirety of The Bible is fiction only shows that you’ve been failed and lied to by many people, and even yourself since this is a falsehood which can be easily corrected with the lightest amount of research on your part. The vast majority of reputable historians accept that Jesus was a real person and that the historical narratives in The Bible are at the very least an accurate account of what its writers truly believed to have occurred. This is not a position you need to argue against because you can accept these facts while continuing to reject Christ and insist his followers simply lied… and even so, insisting they were liars and not just mistaken will force you to jump through hoops intellectually because them lying makes no sense given how they behaved in life after Christ’s resurrection. The fact that you have such strong opinions and emotions about Christ and Jeff’s words while blindly accepting this blatant myth that Jesus isn’t real, a myth basically on the same level as “quicksand is deadly” and “bears sleep all winter”, shows me that the only reason you’ve managed to avoid overcoming this misconception is because you’ve simply festered in your feelings about God, Jesus, and The Bible without doing even a base level amount of research.
      I mean no disrespect to you and I hope you will respect me by not snapping back and calling me a liar or dismissing what I’ve told you outright. In fact I don’t think you and I should even debate what I’ve said because I cannot prove anything to you, this is something only you can study and decide over time. I do not know you, it’s quite possible you grew up in the church or were close to professing christians since childhood. Even if this is your experience, what you’ve said here plainly shows that despite your experience in church and with Christians you simply do not have even the most basic foundation of knowledge to begin studying Christ and The Bible. I did not grow up with any Christians in my life and I became atheist when I was about 12. Today I am 22 and I am the only Christian I know outside of my church. This is not something I came to believe because of emotion or a desire for it to be true. In fact I was a militant atheist who was basically forced over time to accept that Christ is God because that is he reality which confronted me plainly after many years of study trying to expound upon the studies of other atheists.
      So, in my pursuit of truth trying to disprove Christ’s identity I discovered He was not only reliable but also the foundation of truth and intelligibility. In tandem God’s existence was plainly revealed to me as an obvious reality which I had been blinded to before. Your kind of atheism/rejection of Christianity isn’t even Level 1. It’s just a total lie which you can accept because it’s just easy.
      Again I am sorry to overwhelm you with words. I say all this out of love for you because I’ve been in your position before and I know the consequences of believing what you do. There is so much more for you to know. If you want to just be honest with yourself all you need to do is forget everything you think you know about Christ because your current position is one of extreme ignorance. Every person is ignorant about most everything, we can only know a small fraction of knowledge accumulated by humanity as a whole, the least we can do is identify where and how we’re ignorant so that we can refrain from forming opinions on topics we know so little about. If you let your feelings drive your beliefs then you’re going to have a very hard time figuring out what is true and what is not.

    Jeff’s point is continuity here, plainly unchanging across the board. It’s a pure contradiction to say you are for human rights for everyone, but then also support abortion. Killing a baby violates the basic human rights of the child. It’s a convenience factor for the person who has an abortion. It’s nothing more than our sinful nature. Jeff is of course compelled by the gospel of Christ to inspire people to see the value of all human life. Thanks Apologia Studios and Church for all you do spreading the gospel!!!

    • @glennvaughan203
      @glennvaughan203 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Matthew Bond : I don't frame it like that because I don't believe that children are parasites, I believe they are a gift, and a responsibility.
      I would say that it's my spirituality, not necessarily my religion, that has helped me move away from such a desensitized view point- such as the one you've illustrated.
      I don't think it's "cool", that the first born in Egypt were killed- and I don't fully understand it, but I'm not sure I understand how that equates into the situation I was referring to, which is whether or not human beings should be killing babies.

      And no, I don't understand God's intention to a complete degree, I'm only human. I suppose if you want to call that a cope out you obviously can.
      As far as God ending life, that's up to him, he gives all life, he can take it as he wants. I understand we disagree Matthew, but I hope you have a good day man, prayers for you and your family.

    I can't stand the fallacy about Foster care being poorly managed as a reason for Abortion. I've heard women say "I would feel guilty about putting my child up for adoption" that's so disgusting that they think it's worse to give a child up than to kill that child. The fallacy is they are more worried about a child growing up and being upset at their parents giving them up for adoption then killing it because they can't hear the thoughts of a dead baby being upset about it being killed. Once it's dead it can't show that it is upset about your choice so it's ok.

    If a woman can have an abortion without the man's consent then it stands to reason that a man can also "abort" his responsibility toward the child and not have to pay child support if the mother decides to have the baby. I don't agree with that but equal rights are equal rights. When a child is conceived men have a legal obligation toward's that child but women can kill it if they want. I'm surprised I've never heard anyone challenge that.

    • @bryanpratt5850
      @bryanpratt5850 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fathers have obligations to their kids that they should not be allowed to shirk. Mothers have responsibilities that they should not be allowed to shirk by killing their babies. No parents have the right to kill their babies.

    • @wylier
      @wylier 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      because the key difference in cases of child support is that the child is actually born and being raised as a functioning member of society. If a man doesn't want to be on the hook for child support, he has to ensure that he doesn't get his partner pregnant by accident, or offer to pay for an abortion if she gets pregnant anyways.

    • @sammyspaniel6054
      @sammyspaniel6054 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wylier So then you are saying that if the man has an "accident" he has no right to walk away from the situation. But if a woman has an accident she is still free to do as she pleases with the situation.
      Let's take this a step further. What if the man did not have an accident and the pregnancy was intentional and he fully intends to care for the child. But then the woman changes her mind and decides to have an abortion. Does the man have a right to prevent the abortion? After all, there was no irresponsibility on the man's part.

    • @wylier
      @wylier 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sammyspaniel6054 in that scenario, the man can try to persuade his partner to have the baby, but the ultimate choice would be hers to make. Keep in mind that the reverse scenario also happens often - sometimes the pregnant woman actually wants to keep it, but her partner or close family pressures her into aborting.

    • @sammyspaniel6054
      @sammyspaniel6054 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wylier I think the point you are missing is that the choice is still ultimately the woman's and not the man's. A partner or close family member putting "pressure" on the woman still does not take away her right by law to do as she pleases. But the man never has the right to do as he pleases. If she decides to abort or keep the child he has no legal authority to stop her. That's my point and that's why abortion laws are cruel to men. Often times a man who wants to raise his son or daughter must instead watch the mother kill him/her. That's cruel.

    My mom left to the abortion clinic while pregnant with me, little did she know she had a praying mama at home. My nana didn’t know what was going on, why my mom was going to out of town all of sudden, she only knew that God had her hit her knees and pray. When she arrived at the abortion clinic, there were protesters there, most of which that were very passive, one woman approached my mom courageously and put a cross necklace in her and very seriously said “Do NOT do this, God has a plan for her!” (only by word of knowledge did she know I was a going to be a girl) my mom still went inside, as she was on the operating table they couldn’t find a vein for the needle to go into because she ruined her veins with drugs while she was young, she kept telling them that doctors always have to put it in her leg or the vein on her boob but they refused to do it, and referred her to another clinic that was far out of her range. My mom decided not to go through with it, after she told my nana what she had tried to do, my nana told her that she already knew because God had her pray. Then my mom repented and rejoiced 😇❤️ now I’m her best friend, who’s fully in love with God and he’s my only desire. The devil knew that I had a call on my life and he tried to prevent it many times. But my God is mighty and he saved me❤️

The only way a true experiment would match the claim that nothing created something, one would have to allow nothing to perform the action again, without the help of an intelligent mind, in order to verify that something can come into existence out of nothing.
      Until that kind of experiment is done, a person can never come to the conclusion that you don't need God.

      Dylan Dawkins did an intelligent mind put those chemicals in a controlled environment to test?
      According to how you might see things, or according to the claim of your worldview, was there an intelligent mind to put these things in order billions of years ago?
      Therefore in order for the scientific test to match a scenario where there is no intelligent mine, why not just leave everything alone as it is, where it is, and watch it create a car for example, which is not nearly as complex as the universe, and not try to recreate conditions using an intelligent mind?

      Matthew...It appears you are more interested in defending or arguing your position then having a dialogue. I notice on both sides it becomes more about winning a debate or showing one party can out duel another. My question is always a few things a) are you sincere about God revealing Himself too you? (If not then there is no evidence or truth you will accept). If the answer is no, then skip the rest of this b). If you are genuine in God revealing Himself too you, what evidence would you accept? c) if God is who He says he is, do you know what He says about how you can find Him? d) this last question is for anyone, if our creator is maker of all things and has infinite knowledge and understanding, and we are limited at best, then a question I even ask myself is two fold and similar too the above question "do I understand how and why He chooses too reveal Himself to His creation. Secondly, at what point is a created being above His creator.
      All of those questions are for someone who wants to search and find out if there is a God, but rather for someone who is sincere in considering both sides.
      Lastly, I posted as I find maybe 1 out of a 100 are really open too finding out how God states He reveals Himself too His creation. The other people are only wanting to argue or support posistions. Ive never found truth accepted when people are only concerned with defending a position.

      Matthew Bond if Allah/Mohammed is the god then I would rather be in hell than with him. It is pretty easy if you think about. Some religions are pretty easy to say they are just bad. Islam is one of those and could be answered by “would I leave my 6 year old daughter alone with Mohammed?” Yes, there is only one that can be true. There can’t all be true at the same time, they might have some truth in them, but not entirely true. Yashua said to look at the evidence, look at the cost and decide, he did not force anyone as other religions do. People are worshiping something all the time : rocks, money, women, possessions, career, people, government, kings, dictators, the pope, you name it.

      Correct. I work in the court system and a power of attorney can only be signed by a competent mind.

    This is how people should debate by talking and listening a great example of why conversations are so important, both sides listening to each other and not attacking or raising their voices/temper, well done to both sides a pleasure to be a fly on the wall for this

    This wasn't an argument at all. This was a very respectful conversation with people sharing ideas. I'm very proud of these young people for their openness. We definitely need more of this, and less screaming and condemnation.

    Jeff I commend the engaging, Christlike example you set for the world in this video. You were kind, respectful, and personal. You listened, without passing judgment, to what these kids had to say when you asked them to express their views. You developed rapport by relating to them as people, which allowed you to ask them some difficult questions without putting them on the defensive. And you (and Sye) did a fantastic job of pointing them toward Jesus because -- as with the unborn -- you believe they were created with inherent value in God's image. And you proved it...not by words...but by action. The reason your words held any meaning for these misguided youth, is because you loved them in deed and truth when you spoke. I am encouraged by this video, and your faithfulness to the Living Christ, King Jesus of Nazareth, who is the great hope for all of us who have believed. Thank you, my brother!

    2 QUESTIONS FOR JEFF: Why do you never bring up Margaret Sanger and her racial motivations for starting Planned Parenthood? This could be a strong point for SJW's. 2 - Why don't you bring up Kasdeja teaching mankind abortion which is biblical. The bible references The Book of Enoch and Jude 1: 14-15 quotes The Book of Enoch (not about abortion though).

    • @peeayetee2945
      @peeayetee2945 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sanger was a racist, and indeed the percentages of who gets abortion today don’t lie (her plan is working). Book of Enoch isn’t canonical, look into why, it’s not Holy Spirit inspired.

    This was a brilliant discussion to listen to. No arguing. No cussing. Respectful listening on both sides. Calm, back-n-forth points of view. And if I'm not mistaken, those young people may just be having their views changed.
