Great video! My son is convinced there are no fish in IL..lol. I showed him your vids and he said he's dumping all his tackle for Bobby Garlands and Big Joshies 🤣. Those bluegill were nice! Would they act the same on mealworms as they did on the bumblebee or does it vary? I really appreciate your videos man. You fish a lot of the same places we "day travel" to. I'm excited to try you are methods at these places. Take care!
Well, I will say the guys using worms and other jigs did not produce nearly as many bluegill as I did on the fly. They wanted a very subtle presentation and the fly is just that
Where were you at to catch the saugeye from the docks? Me and my son are going there this weekend and need some guidance where to get saugeye without being in a boat lol......videos are great and keep up the awesome action
My father in-law has a pontoon docked so I just fish his dock. You can fish around the docks at night. Look for lights shining in the water fish are usually stacked in those locations at night,

Great video. I’ve been fishing Alum Creek and catching Saugeye on Husky Jerks. Haven’t tried the Smithwick jerkbaits yet.
I need to go hit up alum sometime soon!
I've got a boat lets make it happen!
Pretty neat video! Kinda hard to see but still great footage given the circumstance! Some awesome fish
Yea I knew it would be tough to see! The headlamp did its job though. As long as we can see the fish 😎
Agreed

I put my thumb on their zygomatic bone..it doesn't actually go into their eye.
