Yes the reformulation changed it, the projection has been significantly toned down compared to the old formulation but the longevity is still outstanding, the scent is still beautiful and attracts compliments every time I wear it, actually more than any other fragrance that I own, in my opinion people are very harsh in judging it because of the comparison to the old formulation, which I agree was better, but if this was judged based on what it is now regardless of what it used to be, the story would be very different, I believe it's still a masterpiece and it deserves more recognition.
I honestly don’t see how this could ever go out of style. Kind of like Versace pour Homme. Alberto Morillas is a fragrance savant. I was blown away when I noticed how many of my favorite colognes were his creations.
I'm sure it got reformulated, now after 12 hours of wearing it only fills the whole house when I arrive home... my fiancee knows I arrived even before she hears me because the smell fills every single room. Also to my nose the smell did change a tiny bit but 99% remained the same. Well I am just happy that many have given up on it, I can remain a bit unique smelling when I wear it :)
How many sprays do you usually use and where do you spray? I had this guy come into the gas station I worked at and he wore this and I smelled him as soon as he walked in. I bought it and it isn’t as strong. Am I not wearing enough? Am I not spraying in the right areas? Lol.

The sheer nostalgia I get with this, I have to have it forever, reformulated or not. There are much worse reforms out there. Compliments galore with this one and still performs well for me in the summer around 6-8 hours.
Just bought a 200 ml. Average performance (used to have beast longevity) and smells mostly the same as my 2014 bottle. I just love the scent. To me smells better than Sauvage, Profumo, Light blue Intense, CDNIM, BDC... CH Men is another beautiful scent but lasts only 3-4 hours.

I was well cheesed off. Could you please give us your take on both these fragrances. I bought this a couple of days ago and to me it smells just like it did 15 years ago when my dad had it, the only thing I noticed that was different was the quality of the actual bottle itself
I really liked this fragrance back then. The one I liked more was it’s flanker: 212 sexy man. That’s still an awesome somewhat more oriental version of the original!

Sorry to hear that 212 is a victim of reformulation because all I've known is my 2013 batch. Cheers and enjoyed the format.
