Thank so so so so much for sharing your design and struggles and solutions with us on your drip system! I really want to raise betta but I know my limits 😅. I’ve been researching drip systems for five months now, but your video is the clearest i’ve found. Thank you again so much! 🙏🏽

Nice video.. i tried building something like this before when i was collecting bettas but my set up became a failure.. maybe one day when i find the passion to get back in the hobby, i’ll follow this set up.

but how can the popo of fishes be cleaned up using this system ? because they are at the bottom of each tank.

The waste will have to be manually removed using a suction tube or turkey baster. There’s definitely pros and cons to this system. It allows more water volume to flow through which means less water changes. I do 100% water change in the sump once a week and has never had an ammonia spike.

Only issue with a shared system is if 1 ends up sick that’s contagious, then it has now transferred to the rest. I myself was thinking about a set up similar, but have decided against it to prevent any random occurrence of disease. Nice set up though.

Totally agree! If i had a large heated fish room, i would built a single container timer drip system style to isolate every betta. I’m hopeful, maybe one day. Happy betta keeping and thanks for the kind advice.

Those white divider, can they see each other

Hi Kue, thanks for supporting the channel. Yes, the bettas can see each other and will flare all day long. Fortunately, the unit is in the garage where it’s completely dark unless i turn on the room light or the light inside the betta barrack system.

That isn't a drip system, it's a closed filter system.
