Nowadays, everyone seems desperate and hopeless about what is happening in the Philippines. Seeing your video is so refreshing; it reminds me of my childhood days with my grandfather.
We used to have a vegetable garden like yours, and everything we needed was there. Thank you for this video; it brought tears to my eyes. You have amazing videos, and whoever arranged this one did a very impressive job.

Utan Bisaya is a very underrated Filipino healthy dish. It's a shame this soup is not featured in top Filipino dishes because this soup is very quintessential Filipino. Has very local ingredients can be found anywhere in the country, cheap (very pang-masa), quick, easy and convenient to cook, and super healthy (enjoyed by the rich too).

There is a deliberate suppression of Bisayan cultural identity by the Tagalista elite.

True! Because people want dead meat.
I cook this dish every other day, subrang tipid financially and even we live in a subdivision I have a garden and harvest almost all the ingredients in this dish. ❤

I couldnt agree more ! probably the most accurate healthiest soup dish in philippine cuisine. Nothing can beat a soup that has almost all the green vegetable and spices all natural !

They embrace the Filipino life . They are planting veggies in their garden and uses Filipino appliances available in the country or barrio where they live even kitchen utensils, plates, spoons, local stoves using woods in cooking.

Korea has developed oriental medicine and has developed a variety of foods. When I went to Bohol before, I ate some boiled sprouts of a fruit that resembles a Korean long pumpkin and has tadpole-like seeds, made with Korean soybean paste and red pepper paste. , there were Filipinos who saw this. In the Philippines, the land is not good and it rains frequently, so vegetables are more expensive than in Korea. Therefore, I hope that missionaries will develop food found in the mountains and grass for the common people in the Philippines.

Am so hungry right now, as I LOVE VEGETABLES SO MUCH. You actually make another recipe, whatever any left over fish on hand , boil together with onions and tomatoes, add anchovy the bottled - so yummy. With that recipe with the boiling water add cubed pork belly and do the same thing. or add coconut milk lest water. Thank so much for such a beautiful back ground music. It was so delightful to listen to.
