I’ve spent my entire life, starting as a child being told Bible stories to reading the Bible as an adult, and The Chosen has truly humanized not only Jesus, but also Mary and all the disciples as well. What an impact it has made on my life. ❤
I had a similar upbringing, and this aspect has been the most impactful part of the show. The humanity that has been brought to these portrayals cannot be overstated.

Also, it's not only the acting skills they are displaying. I feel as if it's their faith also. Without it, they couldn't portray the character as well.

I literally agree with you, I virtually never cry at any films or tv series. However, the Chosen has me crying even prior to the crucifixion. I don’t want to imagine what I’ll be like when we get there, though I look forward to how magnificent when the resurrection arrives.

I think the waiting makes it more intense than any other movie about Jesus. I really can wait for the scenes of what Jesus had to endure for us sinners.
My heart shattered, 💔 I sobbed as Jesus had Simon and Matthew get the colt! “The Lord has need of it “ I read that in the Bible so many times but seeing it visually made me sob cuz Jesus involves people in His story 🤯. Simon and Matthew bring the colt of peace, to see how much they grew and changed! A favorite scene of the series!😭🥰Phenomenal!
The meaning of the sacrifice willingly made by both Jesus and Mary is so profoundly and beautifully captured. The words of Simeon have to just be reverbing in the Holy Mother's heart and mind :(
How hard it must have been for her to know that the sword is getting closer and closer to her heart😢😢 and that sword won't kill you but you will have to go through the pain and live with it😢😢😢 HAIL MARY, Mother of God❤❤
I love to see who the people behind the characters are. God really guided the casting directors to a beautiful group of people who take seriously the impact that their performances are having on so many people, without making their characters feel forced or disingenuous. So talented and lovely, all of them!

Jim Caviezel came to speak at our church and I was blessed to see him….i was taken back on what he said happened to him when he played the roll of Jesus in the Passion o& the Christ…and many things that happened to him could have only been from God. Can’t wait to hear Jonathan tell us about his role. I pray all these folks and Dallas stay humble to ONLY say and make what the Lord wants….

Just sitting here watching this just brings tears to my eyes. I have so much to be thankful to my heavenly Father that he sent his only begotten son to die for my sins.😪😭😭
It bothers me greatly, that the realism of being a Mother who knows what is coming for Her Son is not mentioned more. Vanessa Benavente who plays the Mother of Jesus did an award winning job by saying little, but the expressions of agony and grief on Her face made this scene all the more real. Go back and watch Her expressions. They literally break your heart.
They did this scene perfectly. Knowing what Jesus is about to go through once he goes through the gates on that Donkey...I just cried through this entire ending.
You can tell by watching the actors faces as they watched the scene on screen. Their hearts felt it all the way. More than just acting those facial expressions were real. I love this show. Looking forward to season 5

After going through several heartbreaking times in my 65 years here, I was so hurt by the darkness that consumed me. Losing my son, and husband within a short period of time I was lost. Through my struggles I somehow found your show. This beautiful masterpiece, and by the Grace of God, turned my life around and back into the light. You all literally saved my life. With a heart full of gratitude, I Thank you and The Lord Jesus Christ ✝️🛐💜♾️☮️🕯️🙏

I have every music cd. I love the music from The Chosen, it just brings another level to this amazing show. When Jesus put them in pairs..I believe in the third season, it's so beautiful to see the relationships that they each keep on evolving.

I’m crying now! What an unbelievable cast! Love the show! It drew me closer to Jesus. I even had a dream about Jesus, in my dream Jonathan Roumie was Jesus’ face.
Wow, I’ve seen this several times already but each time it hits me in a different way. Right now I’m struck by seeing the weight of what was ahead resting upon each of them, and especially on Jesus and His Mother Mary. You can see it and feel it in this scene ~ so impactful. After coming to the realization that these people all “were human” and very relatable through The Chosen, it breaks my heart to know and see what is ahead for Jesus, (and for Jonathan and the rest of them)- I almost can’t bear it! 🙏🏻💔
I can’t even imagine how you guys do it. You all have brought all this people to life for us. Jonathan has done such an amazing job portraying Jesus! I am looking forward to season five and DREADING it so much at the same time. It is going on to be so emotional I know I will be crying so much.

I have every music cd. I love the music from The Chosen, it just brings another level to this amazing show.
When Jesus put them in pairs..I believe in the third season, it's so beautiful to see the relationships that they each keep on evolving.

Liz absolutely summed up perfectly about reliving that moment with Jonathan as Jesus and the rest of the cast. And feeling the heaviness of it 😭. Knowing where it's all going to end. & Us as the audience witnessing it all. God has truly been doing a work through The Chosen that is absolutely humbling and beautiful. And I'm so grateful for it all

I’m crying now! What an unbelievable cast! Love the show! It drew me closer to Jesus. I even had a dream about Jesus, in my dream Jonathan Roumie was Jesus’ face.
Wow, I’ve seen this several times already but each time it hits me in a different way. Right now I’m struck by seeing the weight of what was ahead resting upon each of them, and especially on Jesus and His Mother Mary. You can see it and feel it in this scene ~ so impactful. After coming to the realization that these people all “were human” and very relatable through The Chosen, it breaks my heart to know and see what is ahead for Jesus, (and for Jonathan and the rest of them)- I almost can’t bear it! 🙏🏻💔
I can’t even imagine how you guys do it. You all have brought all this people to life for us. Jonathan has done such an amazing job portraying Jesus! I am looking forward to season five and DREADING it so much at the same time. It is going on to be so emotional I know I will be crying so much.

Everyone talks about our messiah and who, what and what he went through for us. But ...I'd like to say the courage and bravery this man had to go through and walk into what he did. I....doubt I woukd have the strength or faith to do such a thing. Is beyond words. Thank you, father, for your son and for what he did. ❤❤❤
