    Love that we use a third party independent arms length escrow company and they don't have junk fees - they charge their escrow fee and notary fee/over night delivery fees if applicable. Very simple and transparent :)

      Yes, sometimes agents ask, but usually it's the buyer or seller that asks escrow directly. Escrow will often give a discount if a party makes a fuss about fees.

    Why do sellers agents want to use a specific escrow company? Do the seller's agents get a commission?

      It's the relationship. Sellers' agents like the familiarity and clout they have with the same reliable escrow officer. It's illegal for agents to be compensated by settlement companies.
