A piece of 2”x4” about 12” long for the front bunk support. Treated board will last longer. I used southern yellow pine because I had some already.
The front aluminum bumper I had built for me out of 1/4” aluminum stock and had two holes drilled in it to fasten to the frame.

I lost a $200.00 rod and reel combo this summer using the original rod holders on the Twin Troller. I replaced with Scotty
Rod Master II's. Other than this the Twin Troller has been a very good boat for me, so good that I got rid of my 16ft and 14ft boats! I am strictly a Twin Toller fisherman. I go in the willows for bass and crappie, but I also use it to troll for walleye. Perfect boat!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Big D! I just saw your message today. Sorry for the late response. Glad to hear you're enjoying you TT. I looking forward to spring fishing myself. I'm hoping to get up to Michigan to do some ice fishing next weekend for bluegills. Then off to Havana, IL to do some snow goose hunting. fun fun!
Working now and will do a better comment later but all I can say is WOW Michigan Steve
Dan, You have some great ideas!
Thanks. I hope you're getting plenty of time wetting your lines.
interested in the micro anchors
Lynn, as far as I can tell, I’m the first of the crazy’s to mount a micro power pole on his twin troller. I’ve just completed this task last week. I’ll be running it through it’s paces for the next couple months to prove the concept. Then I’ll announce it to the rest of the world. Please don’t ask me for details now too many to discuss in a chat. If you send me a way to send a couple pics I’ll show you what I did.
Why don’t you ever put any links to any of your upgrades?
JD, sorry for my tardiness. Fishing, traveling and a lot of goofing around is taking up much of my time these days. You can go back to my second video on the twin troller x10 and see the links.
I just figured out today how they do that on an iPad. LOL. You got to love Tecknology. I’ll admit that I’m not much of a social medial person. I find there’s more to do out there than I have time to do it. I guess it’s a matter of priorities. I like to hunt, fish and shoot more than I do typing. Thanks for your comment!
Where did you get your rear straps?
I bought it so long ago i don’t remember. However I did find one simular on amazon. Be sure to measure your points over the boat to make sure 9’ is the length you want.
I want to recommend this product at AmazonDC Cargo Mall 2 Motorcycle Kayak Tie-Down Cam Straps 1" x 9' Strong TieDown Straps with Durable Polyester and Vinyl-Coated S Hooks, Tie Down Cargo | for Pickup Bed, Moving Truck, Van, Trailerby DC Cargo MallLearn more: smile.amazon.com/dp/B01CRFBR2K/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_Y75EA1MTQZWZEH0NQBQZ
I just double checked my strap length and it’s 9 foot. The actual distance between the hooks and over the boat is 7 feet. If you can find an 8-foot strap, it will be just about right if you have a similar setup to mine.
