Something people forget all the time is that in SA2, Shadow is actually the bad guy. He's an agent of Gerald Robotnik's will, he's manipulating Eggman to complete Gerald's plan to destroy the world, and he is 100% motivated by nihilism and a desire for revenge against humanity. So when you hear Throw it All Away, it makes complete sense because it feels dark, it FEELS sinister, right? Shadow is this mysterious threat with his own motives and while you get those flashes of humanity in him, for most of the game he's determined to keep things going and destroy the world. It's only when Amy gets through to him after the final stages that he changes his mind and decides that humans are worth saving after all.
Yeah i know it’s why i love adventure 2 that dark undertone to so much, and shadow becoming good to fight with Sonic is dope, and it’s like after falling from space shadow is never really his peak again, and honestly he never reached those heights again funny since he fell from very high lol.

Undefeatable is very important to me, I get why you prefer other songs, but I'd say it is my favorite Frontiers song, so I morally must leave an essay about why it matters to me, enjoy! It starts with a bit of the chorus in a calmer note, only to jump into the hard instrumental to really hit you in the gut, and that intro is priceless, it really drives home that theese fights are gonna be the best ever But that is only the beginning, the chorus itself has some powerful lyrics, with added meaning when applied to the franchise in the same way as One Way Dream: "It's time to face your fear, 'cause when your time has come and gone, I'll be the one to carry on, and you can throw me to the wolves, because I'm undefeatable", "I'm hanging on to the other side, I won't give up till the end of me" such a display of, again, confidence, knowing that they must fight what they need to finally stand proud of themselves again But to me, the best part, and the one that really got me emotionally, is the ending. Listen to the song again, it starts, right after that beginning I talked about earlier, saying: "Welcome to the mind of a different kind, where we've been growing slowly. Think I'm on 11 but I'm on a 9, guess you don't really know me. Running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory, been down this road before, already know the story" Really think about what it's saying, it's the first proper full lyrics of the song, and it is telling you that from here on out, they have changed, they won't fall again, they are giving it their all, and this is only the beginning To end this song, they could have ended with a bang by repeating the chorus, they could have made other lyrics, but no, THEY WENT BACK TO THE FIRST FULL LYRICS AND DID THEM AGAIN, the same lyrics that talk about where we came from and where we are headed, but now it's different, they said that at the start as a form of explosive passion, but here, in these final moments of the song, they bring it down to say it, a much lighter tone, almost like they made the declaration at the start, and here, in the end, it's now a promise: "Welcome to the mind of a different kind, where we've been growing slowly", it may take time, but we are always trying to be the best we can possibly be "Think I'm on 11 but I'm on a 9, guess you don't really know me", you thought we were giving it MORE than we could (11/10), but no, we still have WAY MORE to give (9/10), and just you wait for what we can do "Running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory", as a way of making clear that they know that everything they did is now a part of their history, but hiding it is no good "Been down that road before, already know the story", literally everything they have said with this, now they know, after a lot of time of not knowing, their minds are clear, and the future is as bright as ever Sorry for this long essay, but when I have something to say I want to say it as I feel I should, and Undefeatable is top 5 of the entire franchise for me AT THE VERY LEAST (I have never made a song tierlist so I don't know specifically), maybe competing with His World and Endless Possibility
It is always fun to see when someone is passionate about something. You shouldn't be sorry for writing this long essay, you shouldn't be scared about sharing your passion with people. If other people don't care about this stuff then they will just ignore it. And besides, it's not like it's gonna scare anyone away (except the hoes).
In addition, many have theorized that it fits the meta narrative of how sonic has been throughout the ages, sonic used to be in a VERY dark place, and Frontiers is breaking that away. It very much emphasizes with the current state of sonic post frontiers.
I didnt' see any mention of the Sonic Symphony during One Way Dream - so I'm not sure when it was when you guys went, but only in the past couple of months, the lead singer for the concerts Ty Christian had explained to the crowd that One Way Dream was his most favorite song and was disappointed it was not in the setlist. They ended up working with Tomoya to rearrange the entire song to play as an acoustic encore. It makes it so much more emotional and hard-hitting, I honestly wish they did a studio recording of it. Before I went to the Sonic Symphony in June, I had never heard of any of the songs from Sonic Frontiers because I had been distant from the sonic community since Forces. Hearing their arrangement of One Way Dream (my first time listening to the song) made me bawl where I stood, and hearing it over and over always gives me goosebumps and makes me emotional. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets emotional with the song lmao
I know that 'I'm Here' wasn't that great, but I'm surprised that the Revisited version wasn't talked about since that version SLAPS. Like, it's my favorite song in Frontiers. Also, Let the Speed Mend it is so good! I wish it was on this bracket.
I like the revisited version, but I feel the mix for the boss is better. I feel the base revisited ruins it by overshadowing the lyrics with the instrumental. It loses the impact and severity it once had. Before, Sonic knew he could beat the Titans, but now, he knows it's a proper challenge, he knows he's running out of time, and that's what gives it the added impact. Still great either way but I feel the original does the original intent justice, while the revisit boss mix gives it that proper boss feel for phase 2
It's always been my headcanon that the Team Chaotix theme song is an actual in-universe theme song for a reality show about their detective agency. Which is really funny, because Sonic Boom straight up probed my brain and stole that idea for an entire episode of their TV show.
I find the matchup of Knight of The Wind and It Doesn’t Matter very interesting, because in a way both of the two perfectly complement the other in a way that’s sort of perfect despite the differences in both (one is mainline the other a side game, one is very late 2000s while the other is very early, the time gap, etc.). It’s likely because both songs perfectly describe sonics ideology in two completely different wholes; it doesn’t matter was intriguing because it was describing Sonic’s internal thought process on how he lives day-by-day and handles conflicts by stating that he practically lives for them. He cares little for who’s wrong or right, nor for whatever might happen later. He takes it all as it comes and uses them to live his life to the fullest. IDM paints the picture that sonic has a very “live and let live” type of feeling and embraces the freedom he has been granted, but KOTW expresses his ideology towards others when their freedom is threatened. It’s important to understand that, if you played Sonic and the Black Knight, knight of the wind is a title that suggests a knight with no master, one who follows the wind, thus why he is referred to as such during the game. The song, however, expands upon this by implementing Sonic’s ideology, by saying that “each and everyone is the knight of the wind”. Sonic believes everyone has their freedom and can be as free as him, suggesting that they also have the power to do so with lyrics in the song.
6:50 agh yes definitely, I'm super passionate about edm and specifically industrial rock/jungle/drum and bass and I gotta say the chopping and mixing of the drum samples just don't hit the same throw it all away or the main menu OST from sonic riders zero gravity just scratch an insane itch in my brain I didn't even know I had before I first listened to them and none of the recent edm tracks do it like it anymore though I also think it's not just the drums, it's also the genre itself, sonic tracks are always hard to make fit in a specific genre because they'd mix and match, often sampling unexpected things like red hot skull or the entirety of sonic rush's ost did, like rn it's just become too STRICT I think, that wouldn't be a bad thing usually but it just doesn't reach the same level than the 2000s sonic ost tracks! At least that's how that feels for me
I am all of me vs endless possibility Shadow's theme vs Sonics theme perfect matchup (also endless possibilities is the most underrated sonic song, its litteartly sonics character made into a song its so damn good)
The first time I heard, dear Father was when I was listening to some random sonic playlist while working on homework. I couldn’t finish my homework for the rest of the day.
@@alexandrecaldeira9563 True, I feel the revisit takes out a lot of the impact that the original had. The lyrics stood out among the instrumental. The revisit kinda drowns it out, at least the one on spotify. The boss mix version is much better though
I LOVE "THIS MACHINE"!!! They should also include "Almost Dead" from Shadow's game if they haven't already (I'm only 14 minutes into the video so no spoilers please)
I’m Here instantly losing to the _SA1_ version of It Doesn’t Matter is actually such a nostalgia-blinded take it’s crazy 💀 Highkey I think everyone is sleeping on I’m Here in general; the blend of orchestral and metal instrumentals on that song is just breathtaking, and I think that blend works really well as a main theme for Frontiers, as it bridges the gap between the Titan themes and the island themes. (The idea of One-Way Dream being a better song for the Supreme fight is also just a wild take imo.) Anyway, banger video, I just had to stand up for I’m Here, because I love it just as much as the other Titan themes and it feels like I’m alone in that opinion, lol.
i just prefer it doesn't matter's theme of "i'm free but aimless, so for as long as i can, i'll keep moving for my own sake, until i, one day, find my way" over the general triumphant feeling given off by i'm here i strongly relate to it as someone moving into adulthood, and frankly, i don't really feel like there's anything in my life to celebrate right now, so i'm here also falls a little flat in that aspect, not saying it's a bad song or anything, it's great after working out so hard you can barely walk straight
@@possibly_ben You know, that’s a fair argument. It Doesn’t Matter’s lyrics do suffer from the translation from Japanese to English that all the SA1 songs had, especially before it got streamlined for the SA2 version, but they and the general idea of the song are still interesting enough that I can see why they’d still carry a lot of meaning for someone and make it one of their favs, even if the song is a bit messy in its writing and construction.
I completely wholeheartedly agree. It doesn't matter version 1 instrumental and singing voice are sooo dated. Version 2 has a californian 2000 punk that just fit Sonic, but version 1 is so butt rock I never let it play when I'm surrounded by non Sonic fans
@wallaceprower it's so much better because it's chip to sonic. listen bro legit chip is such a good companion and character. the only reason people hate him is his voice, it's not good but his character is amazing and as the Light Gaia he is literally the earth so it's also the earth talking to Sonic saying even tho chip isn't around, he'll always be with Sonic. it's the perfect send-off song and it's just better than dear father. I'm sorry but it's just facts
You should definitely make a second round of this with songs that didn't make it onto this one, like Live Life, Dear My Friend, Find your Flame and This Machine
I didn't see it at all, but my favorite song from the Sonic Franchise is actually "Supporting Me" from Sonic Adventure 2. I'm surprised it wasn't on the list. I'm actually pretty hype to listen to the full version of the Sonic X Shadow Generations remix of it. The Trailer sounded great. Just something about the lyrics and the beat works for me, and making it metal can only make it better!
I’m going to the sonic symphony in a week and I am totally using this video to make sure I don’t miss any of the vocal tracks lmao. The mentions of the symphony give me a good idea of what’s there without spoiling it
should have included never turn back. peak crush 40, extremely underrated. i think a lot of people just don't have the patience to get through that sad piano cover of i am all of me in the intro, lmao also, it's another one of those songs that you can listen to without the context of the sonic franchise and still enjoy it.
I gotta say that Endless Possibility is the best song for me. If you asked me to live my life to any song in existence, it would be Endless Possibility.
@@wallaceprower I personally like It more because it fits more with the fact that sage is still alive the lyrics just make more sense instead of dear fathers sadness which is ruined by the fact she is brought back to life
Yall fucked me up when I saw I Am All of Me vs Endless Possibilities. That more than any other matchup made me bisect myself because I couldn’t decide. I mean on one hand I Am All of Me is an absolute banger, one of Crush 40’s best imo, but on the other Jaret Reddick does the vocals to Endless Possibilities and I love Bowling for Soup so much I went to their most recent show at the time like three days ago. Also your opinions on Dear Father is a W take right there I didn’t think there was another person on earth who’s eyes did a little moisten when listening to it for the first time
I kinda wish there were more obscure picks though. Like the vocal level things from Sonic And The Secret Rings or the other ending themes that (for some reason) nobody likes from Shadow The Hedgehog like Almost Dead, Waking Up, and The Chosen One. All great songs that get no respect or love! (Maybe if we get a sequel video.)
yeah the tricky part is just how many iconic songs from the franchise there are. I didn’t want the video to be too long but man there are some underrated gems i wish i could’ve squeezed in but just didn’t have the room for
I think for as amazing as I found the game as a long time Sonic fan LONGING for the series to take itself seriously again, it was super duper flawed. But flawed in a way where I feel like it can be improved upon in a very significant way.
@@sadboijokes Exactly. It wasn't actually a bad game, it was alright and enjoyable, it just isn't perfect, but also offers the ability to improve as well as proving to sega that it's worth the time to do so.
It's a shame believe in yourself didn't make it farther but I guess as you move along in your life keep an open mind and don't forget that if u gotta do something (gotta do something) believe in yourself yourself YOURSELF!!!! THE SONIC ADVENTURE BIAS IS REAL, ALSO BRO, 2 "BELIEVE IN YOURSELF" BUT NO "FIND YOUR FLAME", WHAT THE FUCK? also also great to know it's not just me thinking about Scott The Woz intro when hearing Knight of the Wind lmfao
the most emotional moments for me during sonic frontiers were undefeatable and one way dream especially since i’ve been following kellen quin and nathan sharp’s careers since like… high school! i remember the moment i got to undefeatable i was streaming to my friend and i had to pause i was popping off so hard i was just LOSING it from how goddamn cool everything was AND A VOICE I KNEW!! and then beating the game and one way dream, i had to mute myself because hearing Nathan’s voice in that song was just so. SO emotional for me and the lyrics and ugh. I still can’t sing it all the way through without choking up. i wouldn’t be able to pick between those two songs. but my winner for the whole bracket would be what I’m made of lmao it’s an incredible song and it’s my song i play to hype me up more than anything (shout out to the team chaotix theme!)
A New Venture (and by proxy Sonic Rush Adventure) getting its flowers in this video spoke to me. I love that OST a lot, and it is just so underrated. Seeing it in this video at all was a treat, but truly a surprise to see it win a round!
0:52 crazy that he said Unknown from M.E. reminds him of the onion from Parappa, because the guy rapping on Unknown from M.E. is actually the same guy who voices Parappa!
0:51 that's because the rapper in this song actually did work on Parappa the Rapper
Yeah Dred Foxx, the rapper in the song, was the voice of PaRappa.
It was the age before the Internet we enjoy and the number of English-speaking folks they can get on their hands sure was limited.

Undefeatable is very important to me, I get why you prefer other songs, but I'd say it is my favorite Frontiers song, so I morally must leave an essay about why it matters to me, enjoy!
It starts with a bit of the chorus in a calmer note, only to jump into the hard instrumental to really hit you in the gut, and that intro is priceless, it really drives home that theese fights are gonna be the best ever
But that is only the beginning, the chorus itself has some powerful lyrics, with added meaning when applied to the franchise in the same way as One Way Dream: "It's time to face your fear, 'cause when your time has come and gone, I'll be the one to carry on, and you can throw me to the wolves, because I'm undefeatable", "I'm hanging on to the other side, I won't give up till the end of me" such a display of, again, confidence, knowing that they must fight what they need to finally stand proud of themselves again
But to me, the best part, and the one that really got me emotionally, is the ending. Listen to the song again, it starts, right after that beginning I talked about earlier, saying: "Welcome to the mind of a different kind, where we've been growing slowly. Think I'm on 11 but I'm on a 9, guess you don't really know me. Running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory, been down this road before, already know the story"
Really think about what it's saying, it's the first proper full lyrics of the song, and it is telling you that from here on out, they have changed, they won't fall again, they are giving it their all, and this is only the beginning
To end this song, they could have ended with a bang by repeating the chorus, they could have made other lyrics, but no, THEY WENT BACK TO THE FIRST FULL LYRICS AND DID THEM AGAIN, the same lyrics that talk about where we came from and where we are headed, but now it's different, they said that at the start as a form of explosive passion, but here, in these final moments of the song, they bring it down to say it, a much lighter tone, almost like they made the declaration at the start, and here, in the end, it's now a promise:
"Welcome to the mind of a different kind, where we've been growing slowly", it may take time, but we are always trying to be the best we can possibly be
"Think I'm on 11 but I'm on a 9, guess you don't really know me", you thought we were giving it MORE than we could (11/10), but no, we still have WAY MORE to give (9/10), and just you wait for what we can do
"Running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory", as a way of making clear that they know that everything they did is now a part of their history, but hiding it is no good
"Been down that road before, already know the story", literally everything they have said with this, now they know, after a lot of time of not knowing, their minds are clear, and the future is as bright as ever
Sorry for this long essay, but when I have something to say I want to say it as I feel I should, and Undefeatable is top 5 of the entire franchise for me AT THE VERY LEAST (I have never made a song tierlist so I don't know specifically), maybe competing with His World and Endless Possibility
I like this video idea but too many frontiers songs especially because i don’t know then,
In addition, many have theorized that it fits the meta narrative of how sonic has been throughout the ages, sonic used to be in a VERY dark place, and Frontiers is breaking that away. It very much emphasizes with the current state of sonic post frontiers.
AYO???? I JUST STARTED THE VIDEO AND THERES TEAM CHAOTIX???? BASED BASED BASED?????
Best Team theme in Sonic Heroes by a LANDSLIDE (I like the others but it's not close).
I'll never forgive Dreams of an Absolution losing
I honestly feel like Follow Me is an upgrade to My Sweet Passion.
Follow Me is an absolute gem of a song
Underrated banger tbh
So happy "Fly In The Freedom" got its flowers. Such a great song, instrumentation and composition wise
Did I miss something, or did they not cover “Live Life”? Idk I always found Black Knight’s credits song was a banger.
Ran out of space, though I do wish I replaced one of the songs on the bracket to put it in tbh.
Find your flame
this was only the "top 32" so a bunch were skipped, like un-gravitify or this machine
I wish it was on this bracket.
titan: SUPREME i’m here is better than the normal version
the revisited version is better overall, but merry kirk-holmes' vocals faaaaar outdo kellin quinn's imo
Sonic R representation! You love to see it!!!
Good video but this bracket feels specifically tailored to spite me every single match
had to avenge my boy Vegeta after you kicked his ass
@@wallaceprower now that's a reliable guy
6:50 agh yes definitely, I'm super passionate about edm and specifically industrial rock/jungle/drum and bass and I gotta say the chopping and mixing of the drum samples just don't hit the same
throw it all away or the main menu OST from sonic riders zero gravity just scratch an insane itch in my brain I didn't even know I had before I first listened to them and none of the recent edm tracks do it like it anymore
though I also think it's not just the drums, it's also the genre itself, sonic tracks are always hard to make fit in a specific genre because they'd mix and match, often sampling unexpected things like red hot skull or the entirety of sonic rush's ost did, like rn it's just become too STRICT I think, that wouldn't be a bad thing usually but it just doesn't reach the same level than the 2000s sonic ost tracks! At least that's how that feels for me
I am all of me vs endless possibility
Shadow's theme vs Sonics theme perfect matchup
(also endless possibilities is the most underrated sonic song, its litteartly sonics character made into a song its so damn good)
Knight of the wind bodies both and we all know it.
The first time I heard, dear Father was when I was listening to some random sonic playlist while working on homework. I couldn’t finish my homework for the rest of the day.
Yall did dreams of an absolution dirty 😭
I’m here revisited is criminally underrated
I'd say I'm Here og is even more underrated, anytime I hear anyone give props to I'm Here it's always the Revisited version
@@alexandrecaldeira9563 True, I feel the revisit takes out a lot of the impact that the original had. The lyrics stood out among the instrumental. The revisit kinda drowns it out, at least the one on spotify. The boss mix version is much better though
I am all of me losing is a CRIME
Edit: I am now Endless Possibilities BIGGEST HATER
It’s so hard but don’t forget chip and the credits 😭
You think losing is bad? Find Your Flame wasn't even _included!_
Whoever decided that it loses was clearly doing a Dark Story playthrough.
Its a banger but also
Its endless possibilities 😭
Against Endless Possibilities, it's a crime we can look the other way for
We need a part 2 with the songs you skipped, like "This Machine"
I LOVE "THIS MACHINE"!!! They should also include "Almost Dead" from Shadow's game if they haven't already (I'm only 14 minutes into the video so no spoilers please)
Hearing someone du duding the pumpkin hill theme gave me flashbacks to the real time fandub hahaha
Fun fact: Parappa’s voice actor was in unknown from m.e.
HIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!
That song is a banger
Can confirm, Chaomix was screaming Fist Bump in my ear at the Ohio symphony lol
I’m Here instantly losing to the _SA1_ version of It Doesn’t Matter is actually such a nostalgia-blinded take it’s crazy 💀
Highkey I think everyone is sleeping on I’m Here in general; the blend of orchestral and metal instrumentals on that song is just breathtaking, and I think that blend works really well as a main theme for Frontiers, as it bridges the gap between the Titan themes and the island themes.
(The idea of One-Way Dream being a better song for the Supreme fight is also just a wild take imo.)
Anyway, banger video, I just had to stand up for I’m Here, because I love it just as much as the other Titan themes and it feels like I’m alone in that opinion, lol.
^
i just prefer it doesn't matter's theme of "i'm free but aimless, so for as long as i can, i'll keep moving for my own sake, until i, one day, find my way" over the general triumphant feeling given off by i'm here
i strongly relate to it as someone moving into adulthood, and frankly, i don't really feel like there's anything in my life to celebrate right now, so i'm here also falls a little flat in that aspect, not saying it's a bad song or anything, it's great after working out so hard you can barely walk straight
I'm here got done dirty!
JUSTICE FOR IM HERE!!!
8:22 "I'll be honest, I don't care for either of these"
Dude, what... I fucking love these songs.
Like, call me a hipster but these are some of my favorites, or at least the one I'd call MAJORLY underappreciated gems.
I need a part 2 with “supporting me” aka biolizard theme from SA2
Dear, my Friend >>>>>> Dear Father all the way
nah this ain't it 🤢🤢🤢
@wallaceprower it's so much better because it's chip to sonic. listen bro legit chip is such a good companion and character. the only reason people hate him is his voice, it's not good but his character is amazing and as the Light Gaia he is literally the earth so it's also the earth talking to Sonic saying even tho chip isn't around, he'll always be with Sonic. it's the perfect send-off song and it's just better than dear father. I'm sorry but it's just facts
plus we get so much more time and character interaction with chip than we do sage so it fits way better
Agreed, a million times better
dear father not only is better musically but also its the only one emotional eggman moment we ever had in the games
you sly dog got me listening to so many sonic songs
…my music playlist got just a bit bigger xD
You should definitely make a second round of this with songs that didn't make it onto this one, like Live Life, Dear My Friend, Find your Flame and This Machine
I didn't see it at all, but my favorite song from the Sonic Franchise is actually "Supporting Me" from Sonic Adventure 2. I'm surprised it wasn't on the list. I'm actually pretty hype to listen to the full version of the Sonic X Shadow Generations remix of it. The Trailer sounded great. Just something about the lyrics and the beat works for me, and making it metal can only make it better!
Hot takes: With me should've been in this video, With Me > Knight of the Wind and With Me should've been in the Sonic Symphony
now THIS is a hot take
Original With Me > Massive Power Mix
@@VreyIsGrey agreed
AGREE
@@wallaceprower Not as hot as you might think, I prefer With me over Knight of the Wind as well.
I was born in 2006, so it was crazy when you said Sonic 06 is almost twenty
Same
I just beat 06 for the first time today
Break Through It All in the finals is crazy 😭 we need a redo
3:32 “Baby making music” is a wild choice of words 💀
I’m going to the sonic symphony in a week and I am totally using this video to make sure I don’t miss any of the vocal tracks lmao. The mentions of the symphony give me a good idea of what’s there without spoiling it
should have included never turn back. peak crush 40, extremely underrated. i think a lot of people just don't have the patience to get through that sad piano cover of i am all of me in the intro, lmao
also, it's another one of those songs that you can listen to without the context of the sonic franchise and still enjoy it.
I gotta say that Endless Possibility is the best song for me. If you asked me to live my life to any song in existence, it would be Endless Possibility.
THE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING SLANDER FUCK OFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THATS ONE OF THE BEST SONIC SONGS EVER
FRRRR
Can't believe "Never Turn Back" didn't even make the list
Bro i was that kid obessed with the tails doll creepypasta, Can you feel the sunshine will forever be in my top 10 sonic tracks
Oh I was literally just watching your video on sonic quotes in a bracket, these are so good, please keep doing what you're doing
i love how they analyze the songs rather than just 'i like this one better'
Where is back in time? I love that song so much, bro 😭
Fly in the freedom sounds like something out of persona and I love it for that ngl
the sheer disrespect u gave to i’m with you
I don't even wanna LOOK at that song 🤢🤢🤢
@@wallaceprower IT TOOK THE AMAZING FINAL BOSS THEME FROM THE BASE GAME AND GAVE IT VOCALS WDYMMMMMM
Also your opinions on Dear Father is a W take right there I didn’t think there was another person on earth who’s eyes did a little moisten when listening to it for the first time
Love the vid but whoever seeded Can you feel the sunshine vs Sonic Heroes ROUND ONE needs to be tried for international war crimes
There's a reason Almost Dead gets no love but everything else you said I agree with
yeah the tricky part is just how many iconic songs from the franchise there are. I didn’t want the video to be too long but man there are some underrated gems i wish i could’ve squeezed in but just didn’t have the room for
@@wallaceprower it’s cool. Again, maybe down the road the vid gets a sequel. So many underrated songs deserve more love.
Endless Possbilities is No 1. That's it.
Break Though It All is pure adrenaline rush, like it just IS
1:15:25 I'm going to need you to explain yourself right the fuck now. What do you MEAN "Frontiers is a bad game"?!
Nah they're right
No one hates Sonic games more than Sonic fans.
@@titan1umtitan exactly. It has an excellent foundation and it needs to build on that in order to be something better
Sonic Boom vs His World could have been the final, absolutely GOATed
It's a shame believe in yourself didn't make it farther but I guess as you move along in your life keep an open mind and don't forget that if u gotta do something (gotta do something) believe in yourself yourself YOURSELF!!!! HEY! Extraordinary things can happen when you believe in yourself you've got to have some faith in yourself if you want respect from your friends.
When u feel tight look at yourself inside your mind u will find a special place to unwiiiiiiind when you feel tight look at yourself inside your mind you will see cosmic eternityyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I'm so glad to have found this channel, I'm marking the video to watch later as this kind of discussion will take a whole day of debating in the comments. subscribed!
Bro, you played the wrong version of Dreams of an Absolution! You should’ve played the LB vs. JS remix. That remix just makes me wanna freaking dance!
this is exactly what i said while watching this LOL it's the best version of the song!!!
When the Sonic Symphony played in Utah they did a vocal only version of One way Dream and it was transcendent
I will NEVER Forgive you guys for Letting Undefeatable lose ROUND 1
the most emotional moments for me during sonic frontiers were undefeatable and one way dream especially since i’ve been following kellen quin and nathan sharp’s careers since like… high school!
i remember the moment i got to undefeatable i was streaming to my friend and i had to pause i was popping off so hard i was just LOSING it from how goddamn cool everything was AND A VOICE I KNEW!!
and then beating the game and one way dream, i had to mute myself because hearing Nathan’s voice in that song was just so.
Seeing it in this video at all was a treat, but truly a surprise to see it win a round!
im soooo glad his world made it as far as it did
This is great because music is *so* subjective you're almost never going to get people to agree on it
Don't mind me using this video to find good songs to put in a Sonic playlist to listen to
The entirety of "Black Knight" soundtrack is the GOAT. Specially Live Life.
Find Your Flame is so underrated mam, its one of the best in the game 😭😭😭
Didn't know there could be someone who loved "dear father" sm 😭😭
A Ghost Pumpkin Soup (the Pumpkin Hill theme from SA2) will forever be one of my favorite Sonic songs and I will preach about it until my dying days
Dear father made the list but not Dear my friend is actually a crime
Escape from the city crying in the corner
why? because that gigantic truck is still tearing it through the city?
They made it clear at the beginning that they excluded because it'll win.
49:51 that unlocked a deep memory in me, glad I’m not the only one lmao
23:40 they have bad opinions if you ask me
Wallace was not cooking with What I am Made Of
I was impartial to ‘What I’m Made Of’ but seeing it at the Sonic Symphony in Milwaukee made me love it 😍
I'm the Knight of the wind
Tbh If i was doing this video, "What i'm made of" would just trash whatever goes against it, like no contest.
0:52 crazy that he said Unknown from M.E. reminds him of the onion from Parappa, because the guy rapping on Unknown from M.E. is actually the same guy who voices Parappa!
I don’t care if you only considered songs from games. “Fastest Thing Alive” from SatAM is objectively the correct answer.
