Kabayan, I have a similar problem, check fuel cap message, but I don't have the check engine light. I connected a scanner and there's no alarm/message. All green. I had already replaced the fuel cap with Honda OEM cap. Do you think the purge valve is the issue on mine?

Thx for the video. I replaced the gas cap and that was no the issue, going to try this next. my CRV has 188K miles on it.
Thanks for the video, the screws were not easy to get to without some tlc. Just installed the part last night hopefully that was my issue.

Do you have 2 take off the battery to change the purge valve?
nope--you may have to "unplug" the heater hose from its boss in the way--catch the fluid as it drips out! the fluid will sicken/kill you dog or cat!!!
