I've owned a 79 century for about 15 years. It's tonal versatility is unmatched by anything else solid state that was around at the time. Not to mention that it's virtually unkillable. I've dropped it, knocked it over, been through a car accident and it just keeps going.
I coincidentally literally just ordered one. Well, sorta coincidentally, did see this video beforehand. Gonna layer it with an Ampeg V2 for ridiculously low tuned guitar in a 2 piece.
I have had this amp for about a year. One thing I didn't know is that the high and low gain imputs are for low output and high output pickups. When using fuzz i think the low imput works better but going into the high and cranking it gets an awesome tone. It's just not tight.

The textures you create are outstanding well done

Killer tones bro!
A great jam to start my new year. Thank you!
More of this song coming later

Same with Marshalls and Fenders, for humbuckers vs single-coils.
Should be about 6 decibels quieter for Marshalls. High input uses another tube for an extra gain stage
another one for the unofficial Bandcamp release - would definitely spend some money on this
@@greenflamingoguitar2758 this is part of a song my band Altar of the fuzz is working on
@FuzzedandDoom97 good to know! take your time...
Dope. I have this amp set up with a metalzone as a boost into a jcm800 412 and a harley benton 212. Sludge fest
Wait. You plug an amp into an amp? Pimp My Ride style?
@@Bugsy666century into an 8ohm jcm 800 4x12 and an 8ohm harley benton 2x12 cab. Rips hard
