and my arm, it still hurts. the body I've lost. the comrades I've lost. it still hurts. you feel it too dont you? im gonna make them give back our pasts.
Quel bonheur d'écouter ces classiques revisités avec un instrument découvert en Corée et probablement en Chine au cours du 6 ° siècle. Absolument bluffant
When you show multiple screens I would love to see you play Queens Prophets Song with their iconic multi layered genius....love and really admire your talent by the way....
We passed upon the stair We spoke of was and when Although I wasn't there He said I was his friend Which came as a surprise I spoke into his eyes I thought you died alone A long long time ago Oh no, not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world I laughed and shook his hand And made my way back home I searched for form and land For years and years I roamed I gazed a gazeless stare At all the millions here I must have died alone A long, long time ago Who knows? Not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world Who knows? Not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world
OlderSpud Indeed! And in traditional Korean folk music music, the particular style and use of nonghyeon/농현 "string vibrato" is directly related to yonseong/요성 "vocal vibrato" of folk songs(minyo/민요), depending on the region of the country , and as such the embellishments used in instrumental music in general is an extension of the human voice and the two are quite inseparable. Not surprisingly as a result, one can assume that the degree that Luna applies nonghyeon is very much a natural extension of her traditional musical expression ;)
I'd love to hear her do "Don't Fear the Reaper" by the Blue Oyster Cult.
Ryan S OMG!
YES!
I'd love her to do every fuckin thing I've ever heard.
Ryan S she already has
She has. It's quite filled with cowbell.
They played us like a damn Gayageum
She kept us waiting, huh?
That was some fancy playing. Pretty good.
!
I wish I could upvote you twice.
HAHAHASHAHAHSAHAHAHSHAHS
I wish Bowie was still alive so that he could see this. I'm sure he'd be amazed.
there's actually a similiar in style "trance like" live version of Bowie performing the song in 90s
That vibrato is so incredible
This is one of the coolest things I've ever heard! I'm a huge bowie fan and also love this instrument, putting them together is heaven ㅠㅠ
Why are we still here, Snake? Just to suffer?
Vasily Baev every night I can feel my leg
and my arm, it still hurts. the body I've lost. the comrades I've lost. it still hurts. you feel it too dont you? im gonna make them give back our pasts.
Wow amazing! I'm in love with this song since MGSV.
This style of instrument works perfectly with the hypnotic, haunting mode of this song!
You’re face to face with the woman who rocks with Gayageum.

헐. 가야금에서 이런 소리가 나는 줄은 몰랐어요! Keep up the good work!
this instrument looks like some spectacular cross between a harp and a cymbala.
We passed upon the stair
We spoke of was and when
Although I wasn't there
He said I was his friend
Which came as a surprise
I spoke into his eyes
I thought you died alone
A long long time ago
Oh no, not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With the man who sold the world
I laughed and shook his hand
And made my way back home
I searched for form and land
For years and years I roamed
I gazed a gazeless stare
At all the millions here
I must have died alone
A long, long time ago
Who knows? Not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With the man who sold the world
Who knows? Not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With the man who sold the world
Perfect song for the instrument. Remain awesome Luna.

Don't know how you ended up on my recommendations but I'm glad you did. You, Luna, are awesome!
i really wonder how a baroque piece would sound on gayageum. itd be awesome if u could throw something from scarlatti or bach in there.
Search her TH-cam archive and you will find some Bach and a few other classics. (Hmm. Maybe those are only on her soundcloud collection.)
Did she post these online? I've only heard them from the tulip garden out the window.
