Just wanted to comment on why I read my Bible (not just daily but most often like breakfast lunch and dinner with optional snacks 😂). It’s not a discipline but rather a need. Like the need to drink water. Or Like the need to eat food. I can’t get enough of the Word.

I, too, was like you..I didn’t even know where to start. BUT, I started having Bible Study with my Christian Pastors..Gary Hammrick, Skip Heitzig, John McArther, Jack Hibbs, Tom Hughes, Mark Henry,Brandon Holthaus…these are strictly Bible teaching verse by verse book by book teachers.
I follow Pastor Skip and Pastor Gary, both are wonderful. All I can say is…get ready to study bc it’s going to teach you to help u understand it better and know what exactly what was going on and why…and how the New Testament works for today and how to handle what’s to come!

After being saved in 2019 I joined into a comprehensive bible study with an associate pastor at the church I was attending at the time. The guy is a retired lead Pastor from a nearby church (who still preaches once a month at his current church).
I would suggest to people if possible to get connected with a local bible based church. I think in person Bible study is probably the best thing for a new follower.
Not that I want to see the big name guys short, but having a personal connection with the teacher and his decades worth of pastoral experience was very beneficial to me. Also being edified and sharing fellowship other more experienced believers was helpful
Furthermore at my old church and my current church, I have heard sermons that would hold up well with national audiences.
Basically remember the value of the local pastor and the local church.

Not always. Even the best preachers and evangelists make mistakes and have serious challenges. Ray makes less mistakes these days because he's been preaching for over 35 years or so.
He's got decades of experience and as he said spending time in God's Word everyday, cause he wants to be led by the Holy Ghost , instead of his own understanding and the flesh.

American Church has taken the full context of the Gospel and dubbed it down to one verse John 3:16.. which is taken out of context. Satan believes too, but he didn’t obey. Belief is made unto the heart and confession is made unto salvation.. a life of repentance. Bearing fruit in keeping with repentance. Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 3:8.
I never heard the gospel till I was 28 years old. It made me cry since I never heard the true gospel that Jesus Christ for our sins.😢

Yeah, but what about _truth?_
1. If Gary tells you a nice story that leprechauns sacrificed themselves so that you could have eternal life, well gosh it's a nice story but should you believe it?
2. You shouldn't believe it unless Gary has evidence it's true. No theist you meet (Christian or otherwise) can prove any gods exist, so none knows it's true. So we shouldn't believe.
3. It gets worse because the story at face value is absolute nonsense. It's like Gary telling you that what leprechauns actually saved you from _is a punishment leprechauns caused!_ So the idea that they couldn't just forgive you is ridiculous. The idea that leprechauns _designed you,_ causing the failure, and then would punish you for their own mistakes, should seem ridiculous. And yet these are all problems Christianity faces: a god is (A) said to be all-knowing, and so (B) clearly is responsible for the design flaw that (C) caused humans to violate God's preferences, which (D) causes God to create a punishment system for the mistakes God caused, but it gets worse when (E) instead of just forgiving us for God's own mistake, the God character is said to sacrifice themselves _to themselves_ to sate their own anger, except (F) not really because Jesus doesn't actually die in any meaningful permanent way.
It took me 44 years to hear the gospel. I knew “Christians” who never told me about Christ or His sacrifice. I refuse to be this type of Christian.

I notice a change in your approach to people in your more recent videos. It seems more effective after you witness to them to ask if you can pray with them, as opposed to asking them to profess faith in Christ on the spot. I like this new approach.
I’m wondering why people think it’s unbiblical to get people saved on the spot? The apostles all did it and would get people baptized as soon as they believed. Belief is the first step. Salvation. Next is justification, discipleship, their walk in faith and relationship with Jesus. All to reach the end goal of glorification, the rapture when we get glorified bodies and eternity with Jesus (tribulation, and millennial reign right after rapture). God bless and Maranatha ✝️🙏🏻❤️

Yes, the correct response to the gospel of Jesus Christ when a person believes and is sorrowful for their sins is to repent, be baptized into the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, and received the Holy Spirit. This is the true plan and obedience to the gospel.

I disagree with your point on Tim Tebow. He spread the gospel through his influence. Shouldn't put him down for evangelizing. As Christians, we should support each other and not put down each other's efforts. So long as those efforts are biblically correct. Which John 3:16 obviously is.

I really want to see Ray do one of these with someone who watches his videos 😂 A Christian who knows all the answers to his questions. I would say there’s none good but God, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and Jeremiah 17:9 says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. I wanna see Ray flummoxed and floundering when someone goes off script 😂 I’m pretty sure I could do it but I doubt I will ever meet Ray. I will have to wait until I see him in the new Jerusalem one day in the future.

"For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him can be saved. So many people live under "Self Condemnation...." The comment was made, because that was the act on the American Idol show. The comedian was making a joke between white churches and black churches.
The point was already made before he brought up Tim Tebow, and For the record it wasn’t the Super Bowl it was for the Sugar Bowl game but that was for after having nothing to do with the contestant. The point was already made, and he was getting onto the next one.
The purpose of John 3:16 is to show that Jesus didn’t come to CONDEMN but to Save. It must be read in its context! 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 summarizes the gospel better (more precise). Read John 3:1-21 in its full context. Jesus is pointing out how people hate the light lest their evil deeds would be exposed by it when they walk in it. Jesus is that light. (He is the Word! John 1:1-14). People judge themselves as unworthy of eternal life through Jesus. They rather hang onto their temporal sins. It is the “smile now, cry later” gangster mentality.

the John 3:16 problem is ppl think it's a method to get to heaven, but it isn't. it's a DESCRIPTION of those already on their way. the method itself is in John 3:3-8 and that last verse underscores how helpless we are to contribute in any way to that process as it applies to ourselves.
we can only spread the Word to others, and bless you Ray for your Biblical approach and persistence.
Simon-is an example of my husband and father-in-law who are Roman Catholic. They either belittle or shun Jesus' teachings. Yet. at the same time claim to be Christian and actually think they are in the "only" church of salvation.
Why are they doing that? That's sad to hear as a devout Catholic myself.

It's so sad that Catholics have never heard some of the most basic, well used Bible verses.
True....I used to be there. The RCC teaches that you need to be a Catholic to be saved...and that you need to attend mass, to go to confession, to observe other RCC rules and regulations, etc. It puts a persons faith into the church (works) for salvation, rather than in Jesus (faith). So glad God pulled me out of that false theology.

Jn 17:18, "Even as thou hast sent Me into the world, so I have sent them into the world."

Jesus says to the crowd, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved." But in reference to the same people, Jesus immediately follows with "He who does not believe will be condemned." This demonstrates that one can be baptized and still not be a believer. This disproves the Protestant argument that one must be a believer to be baptized. There is nothing in the Bible about a "believer's baptism."
"Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior," or "Ask Jesus into your heart" isn't the biblical answer.
It’s important to be saved from hell, damnation, and the stain of original sin, but what are we saved for? We are saved for union with Christ. Our salvation began when we were born again through baptism and God’s own Divine Life was restored in our souls, making us like Adam and Eve were in the Garden before the Original (first) Sin. As we go through life, we are united with Christ through the Sacraments he left as gifts for us, especially through Penance (forgiveness of our sins committed since Baptism) and the Eucharist (partaking of God’s own Life, His own Divine Nature, 2 Peter 1:4) - until that day when we are truly united with Him in heaven.
Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell. (For the teaching on venial (non-deadly) and mortal (deadly) sins, see 1 John 5:16-17)
What I must do to be saved:
*I must be baptized with water and the Spirit. Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Titus 3:5, I Peter 3:20-21. (Exceptions: [1] If I desire Baptism but die before I can be baptized with water and the Spirit, God accepts my desire to be baptized, and [2] If I am killed (martyred) because of my faith, but I have not had the opportunity to be baptized, God accepts my death as my baptism, called the Baptism of Blood).
* I must do the will of God the Father. Matthew 7:21
* I must keep the Commandments of God. Matthew 5:19-20, Matthew 7:21, Matthew 19:17, 1 Timothy 6:14, and others.
* I must accept the Cross (suffering). Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24-25, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, Luke 14:27. Phil 1:29, and others.
* I must be a member of God's true church. Acts 2:46-47.
* I must confess my sins. James 5:16, I John 1:9, John 20:19-23
* I must heed the words of St. Peter, the first Pope. Acts 11:13-14, Acts 15:7.
* I must eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ. John 6:51-58, I Corinthians 10:16-17, 11:23-30.
* I must do unto others as I would have them do unto me and love my neighbor as myself. I must feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison or give other aid to those in need. Luke 10:33 ff, Mt 25:31-46. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God" Hebrews 13:16. Good works don’t save us, but we will be judged by them.
*I must strive to be holy. "Strive for peace with everyone and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14
*I must endure (persevere) to the end. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13.
And ... ? What else must I do?

#432 The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation, and henceforth all can invoke his name, for Jesus united himself to all men through his Incarnation, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
People can find a reading plan very helpful for not avoiding reading it every day. A plan makes it make sense! A plan makes what you read more memorable. I recommend the free 5 day per week plan. Look it uo online. It's free, you don't need to sign up or anything. Just print it out, check off the days on the plan. It puts a reading from the Old Testament together with a New Testament and usually a Psalm. They all go-together, so it's much more understandable. And, you can use it every day if you want to - it had me motivated to do that. You can get through the whole Bible this way. Look uo the 5-day plan.

Suppose, I took your photo. Now, time starts to your photo (1seccond, 2 sec... etc). So, before the time started to your photo (before the 1st second), it wasn't there.
Today, we know that, everything changes with time (earth, sun, stars...). So, everything comes under time.
Time has 2 attributes. Beginning and ending. So, everything had a beginning. Since they began, they change with respect to time.
So, before they began (before the 1st second), Scientifically they don't exist. So, there must me NOTHING before they began.
Nothing to everything is creating. As you said, all the combined intelligence of human cannot create a grain of sand from nothing.
So, the INTELLIGENT CREATIVE FORCE is THE CREATOR. GOD Created everything from nothing.

Repent from sin. Unless Jesus washes us, we can have no part with Him.
Repent from your sins could be seen as a works based salvation. Repenting of sins towards God is the better way to go.

No one is working to be saved, but the Bible makes it clear to not continue in sin. 1 Corinthians 15:34, “Awake to righteousness, and *do not sin;* for some do not have the knowledge of *God.* I speak this to your shame.”
Repenting means I'm no longer doing something, so how is that work?

Sorry I can’t communicate the gospel as elegantly as you…but I DO communicate it…John 3:16 IS the complete gospel in a nutshell…when you share this scripture I truly believe that it is the Holy Spirit that will convict their heart…it’s not how you share it…the point is THAT YOU SHARE IT!!!
