Ralph, Destiny's finished, OK? it's over. u really need to let this go & move forward w/ur life. we're all worried about u. 😟 . . . . . . it's all about Destiny's Child now. 😏
Shadowkeep was meant to be D2's "trust us, it's getting better and we have a vision" moment -- A year later and it's the same again. After 2000 hours, sadly, I'm done.
@@kay_keik7842 It is just weird hearing him not go to task on them but I guess it makes sense since he was out of Destiny for a minute. Everyone who leaves Destiny for an extended amount of time comes back and usually don't see it as bad except for people who stayed all the way through. Anyone who has been here since Forsaken to now can say quite easily that things have been on downslope. The most critical will liken it more to jumping off a cliff face but it is subtler than that. Right now, we are just witnessing Bungie push more and more what they want despite community pleas. I am going to be quite worried come Lightfall at this rate. How much of the game will even be playable? How much can you even realistically use? Either way, doesn't bother me too much since I quit during Arrivals and Beyond Light was about what I expected.
Well I came back to play, bought the dlcs except beyond light. There isn't interesting loot for me (because they are bad, ugly armor sets, and I know the old ones). My vault is all turned to trash. They removed places, campaign, and.. Now that I'm finally trying raids... Well. 2 left for me (the real thing is I wanted to try leviathan for nostalgia). I am having fun. But honestly there isn't much to do. I keep doing strikes. Some dungeons now and raids at some point. When I played 1 year ago I even played crucible a lot! For the loot. I wanted the Winged armor sets from crucible and vanguard. Bought Renegades now just to realiz I can't. I just do not want to dislike the game because I lov the music, the places, the gameplay.. Anything that is left. BUT HOLY SHIT THIS IS ALL ANNOYING! But still. Patience. I agree with skill up and even trust his judgement a lot. Peace. Great review. Had a creat time with our buddie.
“Imagine the future” has been the promise of Destiny both thematically and literally for 6.5 years. The only thing that has changed is the nature of what is out of place.
@@guillermojperea6355 Skillup's reviews are entertaining to me no matter how long they are. I like the way he presents his opinions and the production values help a ton as well.
I’ve noticed the content in the expansion had a lot less “ghost hacks the thing, you fend off the the enemies”. There is a lot more interactive quests and things to do. They even had a joke that jabbed at the amount of times they’ve done that during the campaign
@@rookielicence1212 For my own raid groups/teams, I rarely see anyone get close to dying unless it's the explodey shanks at the start. I'm not entirely sure which streamers you're referring to, but for a majority of players the enemies in Gambit are much more dangerous than those in the raid. You have to actually disengage from some fights in Gambit simply because they can destroy you faster than you can melt them.

I love Destiny as a franchise, the story and combat are really great IMO, I and WANT to see this game succeed, it just sucks that Bungie is well...Bungie
Oh but don't worry...Bungie reassures us that bounties won't be as focused on or important going forward... "How much do you trust us?" Yeah, nah. Zero on that front.
@@gorebago Oof, I know. And I mean...I'm one to talk about grind, I play Warframe, so I know all about grind, but...when I load up Destiny, it takes around 15 minutes to gather up bounties from every which place, I can play for literal hours and feel like I've barely made a dent. Some people like that. To me, it feels super exhausting.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn Now that we are on that topic, what would you recommend more? Warframe or Destiny 2? O maybe just wait to see if Outriders is any good? :P Warframe feels like a pain unless you farm a lot of plat or just buy it with real money and Destiny feels like i need every expansion to be at a decent spot (and farm the freaking artifact).
@@BohemioGaming Unquestionably, Warframe. I will be fair to Destiny and say...two things Destiny has that Warframe doesn't is endgame in the form of raids, and a healthy PvP population. Warframe has PvP but it's not focused on much, so while it exists and I actually do like it, hard to find games if no one is playing the mode. And Warframe used to have raids but they were removed...to be returned someday, but no word yet on when. SoonTM. That said, I still recommend Warframe over Destiny. Mainly because...many Destiny players want things Warframe has had for years. A thriving trading economy to ease some of the grinds for anything from weapon components, parts to build Prime gear, resources, mods, almost anything you want, including premium currency to ease the need to pay real money. Customizable clan halls with research labs to build new gear. Pilotable multicrew spacecraft complete with ship combat. A singular narrative built over 8 years with some of the best quests in a looter game ever. A FREE battle pass system with no paid reward track. As well as a super fast movement system truly making players feel like glorified "space ninjas." It's incredibly feature rich and full of things players always delight in discovering. Yes, at times, some of the grinds and farms can be bit heavy, but if spaced out appropriately and addressed patiently, it's a really satisfying experience. I've played tons of Destiny and Warframe over the years, and Warframe just makes most of what Destiny offers, outside of maybe the raids, just pale in comparison.
It’s why I could never bring myself to play destiny. Everything I’ve heard about this game since day 1 had been negative or people trying to give Bungie credit for doing the bare minimum.
@Sak Attack I mean a lot of them are also Halo fans so that tracks but it’s still also the fact the Bungie does the bare minimum then proceeds to ask for more money just so you can have that bare minimum.
@@ghostprime6320 every time people talk about it (even in this vid) it’s as if they are in an abusIve relationship. Bungie: so we built the game in a way that means it can't handle future expansions without deleting content you paid for Players: but... Bungie: BUT we might give it back to you in the future. Buy another season pass to find out!
I mean its due to restrictions of current gen storage capacity on pc and consoles. If they didn't delete the old stuff they couldn't add new stuff. Unless people werw okay with a 400gb game
@@SiborgGamer it wouldn’t be 400 gb bruh. The problem is that they removed it all so immediately and barely added anything in return. I won’t get into how the dlc is a ripoff, which most people except Bungie fanboys will be able to accept, but they should’ve better balanced the equilibrium of content in and out.
I keep coming back each fall and I stop playing after a month. Something about it feels so unsatisfying compared to other live service titles I keep up with, and I love Bungie and how shooting feels in their games.
What I hate with Destiny even though I keep returning, is that I always need to grind to a certain levelcap to enjoy the current content. It Is way worse now with the sunsetting that's introduced in the game. If I take a break for a year, I can basically use nothing that I have anymore. Compare that to Warframe where I can return after years and still use my first frame and favorite weapon. I never need to grind to some new level cap to enjoy the game.
U bet I’m waiting for IHE to do it. He has the closet opinion to me (even thou I play the games tons), his taken king review was spot on. It’s almost the perfect Destiny we always wanted BUT there wasn’t enough of it.
Nah, as a lapsed player, there's nothing here for me. I just can't get behind the idea that I could buy forsaken or shadow keep just to dip my toes in, only to have that content stripped from the game. It's fucking ridiculous
Yea it is shit. I've spent over 250 bucks on destiny if not way more at this point, between me and my wife's accounts its prolly double that. I've never had content stripped out of a game like this. I still enjoy destiny 2's gameplay and the story could have been good with the latest release. It had potential. But again bungie flubs it, and like skill up said, there is no cost to going dark side. It's just accepted and well if you can control it then ok I guess. Sure, maybe a few like drifter or the girl who was trapped eris morn or whatever might accept it. But they had real drama to play off of and they just didnt use it. It's a great idea that was a ball dropped.
With the sunset gear, the only worthwhile content those expansions have are the exotic quests (Div and Xeno specifically), the raids, which have underwhelming guns, but pretty good looking gear, so I'll play them until I can get their full sets, and campaigns.
@Harrison it’s really not a difficult concept or a bad idea, but some how people feel the need to lose their shit because they can’t take out ghaul or wake up the traveler any more. So many damn cry babies, it’s not like the content is gone forever either: it was stale, it’s being taken out to be reworked and added when it’s needed to not be stale, it’s not that hard. People all the sudden act like they really cared about shit that they hadn’t touched in years. Like I feel like that’s kinda on you if you didn’t grind the shit out when it was relevant. Like I think at one point he brought up not being able to grind out the whisper of the worm catalyst, like that’s not even a optimal dps weapon any more, why would you have not done this for the 2 YEARS it was relevant and available. Like we get it, you bought the game and didn’t play it and now you have buyers remorse because you can’t take out ghaul anymore, like literally no one who actually plays this game cares about that shit. I’m glad they’re dumping the casuals.
@@gunnart1305 if your argument in favor for bungie removing content is "well no one's playing it anyway" then i think you just have a different way of thinking fundamentally than other poeple
WoW does something similar to Sunsetting, but in a more natural way. When a new expansion comes out, the maximum character level is raised, so all the new best gear will have higher stats and a higher level requirement. Which gives the same effect as sunsetting in D2, but without telling the player that they can't play with their favorite toys anymore. I think something like that would have made this go over easier with the community.
Funnily enough my ex was addicted to destiny. Actually addicted, enough that it caused problems. I still dunno how someone can get that way, especially with something that milks so much time and money
Jedi - "Hey guys, I'm thinking of trying out that shooting lightening from my hands thing. Thoughts?" Jedi Council - "Cool man, cool. Now go farm some "strikes." " 😂
Exactly. I love SkillUp's content, but that's an area where I have to disagree. This franchise is, what...7 years old total? Between two full games, and a handful of expansions and season content...and we're now saying "this is a great foundation for future content?" After already saying that several times during its lifespan? We should be standing off face to face with the literal Darkness by now. At this point, it'll be at least another year until we get that, if not more.
Destiny 2 has been great since forsaken, it’s no longer it’ll eventually be great it what they can do to make it even better, and they definitely have some work to do
@@torrentarrow9097 I was in heavy doubt after Rise of Iron. Taken King was arguably really cool, but Rise of Iron I feel fell a tad short. Sadly, it didn't seem to stick, and I barely pushed myself through Warmind before vowing to not give it any more money. The last three expansions, for me anyway, were barely worth the time.

Destiny's story now is just so completely fucked because it's told too much through the seasons. Ralph wasn't there for the last few seasons, and the game doesn't even make the slightest damn effort to catch you up with what you missed. I only really played during one season before the current one in like... a year and a half?... so I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've no fucking idea what the hell is going on, I came to BL and nobody said shit about what had happened. Not cool.
“Destiny feels like a game that is only speaking to and servicing its most hardcore players” Lol, the hardcore players would like to have a word with you.
Yeah, the reason the game feels bad to play after a while is because it actually doesn't appeal to either side of the fence here - the casuals are thrown into the game to figure it out and survive the abysmal power level grind every. damn. season, while the hardcore community gets...strikes where you have to play like a 3rd-person cover shooter and PvP that wants the sweatiest of the sweatiest without actually providing the sweats with the casual food, so now sweats have to fight super sweats and even the sweats can't handle it. Destiny 2 designs are the epitome of MISSED OPPORTUNITY and that is why the game always tastes like ash after chewing on it a bit.
And what excatly would you complain about, i have played both games since day 1 and have a shameful amount of hours into the game, but i can promise you that now destiny is better than it has ever been when it comes to the more dedicated player. Or shall we go back to the launch up until the first two expansions that literally gave you a weapon with no random rolls and the weapons took hours sometimes less to obtain and it rained exotics. Is the game perfect , not by any means, but they are trying to balance it out between keeping the casual players around while appeasing the more dedicated players , it's not as easy as a task as people make it out to be. Bungies team is fairly large i know they were at one time and probably still are the biggest independent studio and at one point all they worked on was destiny ,period. If they only catered to hardcore players the game would barely make money.
@@mbazoka the "casual food" just left bro. A while ago, I think. I don't think there's ever tonna be a matchmaking solution that will give "non sweaty pvp" as some would put it as only the sweatiest of players are left.

@@truecaliber1995 except that content that comes back from content vault is free, the cosmodrome was free, the vault of glass was free, etc. Did you even read the post on their website about the DCV?
@@Benno-h8n You're referring to recycled content, my friend. That's the epitamy of laziness no matter if said-content is free or not. Also, what about the content players already payed for? They should be able to access it whenever they want, yet Bungie insists it's somehow impossible to include the option of deleting individual expansions. It's beyond ridiculous. Furthermore, if that wasn't the problem, and it was simply a matter of making sure new content didn't conflict with the old, they should've thought about making Destiny 3. But, no. They opted for gutting their existing product and selling us an overpriced joke of an expansion. "Oh, but what about the season passes," I hear you say? Forget them. It's just more mindless grinding involving killing the same enemies ad infinitum. Gambit was left out to dry, the Crucible continues to be a stomping ground for stasis, the patrols and strikes remain nothing but slight variations of the same busy work, and the raids; the ones not taken by Bungie and stuffed into the content vault yet, anyway; are convoluted challenges you still need a TH-cam guide for. I'll admit the most recent raid isn't as bad as its predecessors, but complex tasks are what make raids so rewarding. The difficulty was never the problem. It's the fact that 90% of the game consists of mindlessly shooting braindead cannon-fodder enemies while the raid puzzles make up the other 10%. Had Bungie simply created a gameplay loop that taught us to observe our surroundings, instead of throwing us to the wolves without any means of defense, I'd say every raid so far was great. Unfortunately, I can't for the reasons I just stated. In conclusion, free recycled content doesn't mean much when so much of Destiny 2 continues to be broken, poorly thought out, and/or greedy- *cough* TRANSMOG *cough*

@Kesa Mak and you don’t think that’s wrong? That people paid $99 when it was on Blizzard launcher to be told, you don’t own this you were just renting it :/. Seems unfair and morally corrupt to me.
"If you don't trust Bungie, then there's not much here for you" Figured as much, and staying through the whole review confirmed that. I've been playing destiny since before the launch of D1, I stood through the shit show that was year one of D1 because I saw potential, that potential was eventually realized in TTK, but even before then I was enjoying the updates the game had towards TTK and watching the world evolve. I didn't playing D2 at launch, after the streamlining of subclasses and weapons with little to grind for, alongside taking all the exotics they said would come with us, I decided to sit D2 out. It wasn't until forsaken and shadowkeep that I decided to jump back in after a significant amount of changes in, what I thought would be, the right direction. Fast forward a few months in, I'm getting into the endgame grind, I've found a playstyle I genuinely enjoyed and was working towards the gear to supplement it. Eventually after endless hours/days/weeks and months of grinding I had enough upgrade mats and the armor to start to fully realize the potential of my build, and I enjoyed it all because there was a pay off. I was a Hunter and bow main, my class consisted of a shotgun, Hush and Leviathans breath alongside Oathkeeper and all the bow mods needs to max out the potential of weapons. I had gravitated towards hush because it was one of the most fun bows in the game, and in the right hands it was very lethal, not to mention, there just wasn't much variety in the bow category. It wasn't the most efficient setup, nor was it meta, but I loved it and had the most fun playing it, and I did fairly well with it, then came the weapon sunsetting announcement and it hit me like a truck. All those hours, reduced to nothing, in the blink of an eye everything I had grinded for was completely useless in all the game modes I enjoyed, nothing I had done mattered because all my gear was "an inconvenience" to Luke Smith and his "vision". I had already decided to call it quits after the first sunsetting announcement but the 2nd (armor) and 3rd (entire portions of the damn game) announcements solidified my choice. To put it bluntly, I simply do not trust a dev team that's going to just take away anything it wants to because it's doesn't matter to them despite the players not wanting that, I also don't see the point in playing the game, endlessly chasing a number that's going to keep running away from me and never really getting anywhere because I'm just going to be back where I started. I also still have a huge issue with the fact that subclasses are incredibly restricted and haven't been reverted back to the superior D1 system that actually gave people a choice, and that there's a HUGE backlog of weapons we've been asking them to update and bring into the loot pool, or that all of the "balancing" issues that they've been trying to fix via sunsetting have created new ones and that those new issues could have been avoided by simply addressing the real issues which was pinnacle weapons. All in all I'm sad to see this franchise fall like it has, disappointed in the lack of consideration for players and I in no way see any of this getting any better in the foreseeable future because if I'm honest, this all looks like Bungie just doesn't have the budget to make D3 and is sunsetting everything in D2 to make room for what would have been D3. Maybe breaking from activision wasn't the best for them after all.
Read the whole thing, can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this game only to be cast aside by Bungie. Sunsetting is a massive slap to the face for the dedicated players.
It just sucks to put in so many hours grinding weapons and armor and then suddenly it can't be used in new content anymore, that really was the final nail the coffin for me cause i struggled for god knows how long to get some weapons like MT and i wanted to keep using it in high level pve, i never gave a shit about the game being easy or hard, as long as it felt fun to play that was enough for me but the fact that they ignored a large portion of players and went through with sunsetting shows that Bungie doesn't really care about the player base and they just want us to keep running in their little hamster wheel while grinding a number that goes up every season, and well i refuse to do it so i just stopped playing and now i'm playing tons of games that were in my backlog cause D2 was my main and pretty much only game for more than 2 years.
@@morsorcus8152 I truly feel sorry for you if you believe that. Forsaken was FUNDED by Activision, and developed by Bungie. High Moon created the tangled shore, and Vicarious worked on the annual pass and QOL. Bungie made EVERYTHING else. Also, please learn how to spell.

Now I only have a 1,5tb HDD connected to it since I mainly play PC now, and even ESO, a game thats infinitely larger than Destiny 1 and 2 combined, is less than a 100 gigs. So Complain to bungie for the file size instead of justifying deleting half the game. Its the main MMO I play so I compare a lot to ESO, but like I said, eso has been building up since 2014. There is no ESO2, every few months we get ACTUAL new content, instead of a shitty excuse for a seasonal event. Content that STAYS. What destiny needs is a real competitor. They have become very complacent in my opinion, no real strides forward. Imagine a world where a game such as anthem succeeded. In that scenario I can see bungie busting their ass to win us back over instead of being totally fine with giving us the minimum, only listening to our feedback when it’s convenient for them.
And still not a single competitor has survived, because making a game like Destiny is insanity. Gorgeous art, music, iconic weapons, raid activities, a gameplay engine featuring a variety of subclasses and stats and physics, constant expansions and seasonal releases. Destiny 2 and Forsaken disappointed Activision with its profits. If you wanted to compete with Destiny, you'd need a pretty large company going full send into the project, devoting the entire company to the game's existence for almost a decade at least. Almost no one wants to take that risk, and those that do either don't have the resources or don't put enough resources in.
I can just relate to this everytime I say: "I'm going to quit this game it's the last time I'm playing this ever" and here I am still playing this game for 5 years now.
39:05 I thought you said the endgame is "good"? The gear grind with multiple sets of gear/playstyles IS part of the endgame, but this system doesn't work as you said. I found myself having the same problem of upgrade anxiety due to how rare the mats are, ontop of the fact that better gear rolls could drop at any time.
So glad someone else brings up how weak the whole darkness harnessing storyline was and how it was like oh yeah no big deal. Darkness is the light but like..shadowy.
Future doesn't look that bright from how the current game feels, who knows. Agree with most of the review apart from the "They'll fix it next dlc/later" mentality. We all know this isn't gonna happen, this franchise is 7 years and 2 massive games old. TLDR for the video: Only play the new dlc if you already play the game frequently.

It feels like Bungie doesn’t really have a vision for Destiny, and that they’re trying to find it with each new expansion. That’s fine, but it’s ridiculous to charge $40 for it.
I stopped playing entirely because I still think I shouldn’t have to pay to make the game fun Vanilla D2 just wasn’t fun to me at all. Besides that I think bungie just doesn’t know if they should commit to this game being an MMO or just a team based FPS as an MMO this game functions at a bare bones level with still almost no enemy variety compared to the first game. Sometimes it feels like they never should’ve gone with the MMO aspect of the game and stuck to a Co-op shooter instead. Besides that I agree with his take on content that he paid for shouldn’t be removed must be a bummer to it’s current player base
Yeah I think something people forget it that we aren't judging 'destiny' the £60 game, we're judging desting and its however many full priced DLC so just as we judge indies lighter as its cheaper, its beyond reasonable to judge this game way harsher as a way more expensive game, but even judging it at a 60 pound game it's not very good imo and I think that says alot
@@willdill7253 that has been for a while my friend, not because of the year. in fact its gonna get worse because people keep letting things like this get away so they keep lowering the bar.
“We don’t want to repeat the mistakes we made with the launch of D2 with a D3”. They say, as they repeat the same mistakes they made with D2 with sunsetting. Classic Bungie.
@@Archy871 I don’t believe they said it’ll never happen, just that it isn’t the goal right now. Luke smith said after light fall there’d be a defining moment or something like that. This will probably be d3, but they can still change plans without giving it a definite answer.
@@Archy871 Bungie specifically said that they would have to drop support on D2 entirely for three years or more to make a new game. They'd prefer to just add new stuff to D2. I can see why, as with next gen support, what changes could they possibly make that would warrant a full sequel?
@@Archy871 Better yet, to have realized there'd be a bottleneck/cap in building an _expanding_ game with the technical solutions they chose to use when _starting_ development, would have allowed them to avoid ALL this mess. In hindsight, *Bungie* just comes off as incompetent, out of their depth.
The Fallen get the shaft again with another transitional expansion, they should be as angry with Bungie as they are with the Traveler. Can't wait for another few Hive expansions because the Hive sure is interesting being full of Chaotic Evil unthinking bug-men, which always make great characters and interesting villains. I'm sure the scheme of the Witch Queen is totally gonna shock and surprise me and in no way is just gonna be some dumb thing that is about blowing up the Traveler and killing everybody. Also how fucked is it that they expect people to pay more money to have content added into the game that they just shrunk, including content from before that you had to pay for? Pretty fucked. Maybe they should have just made a fucking sequel.
I quit playing when they announced the sunsetting and planet removal. I used to love playing this game and spent time on all the planets, liked them all. No matter how good a game is it doesn’t get a pass on taking away what people paid for and worked hard to get. Bungie crossed a line and I will never cross it. I would have paid the money for the small add on if it had increased the size of the game or even been the start of Destiny 3 with the promise of the 3 year expansion. That would have been the right thing to do and I would have gladly supported the Company, that is how they stay alive and keep loyalty between itself and it’s players. Unless they were to put the game back together I will never consider coming back.
I'm a firm believer they need a rebranding away from Destiny X, it just needs to be Destiny: xxxxx. Only reason there is a Destiny 2 is because of Bungie's deal with Activision. If another game is made it should touch on all we know from D1 & D2 but actually have a campaign this time with actually good storytelling. Now...regrinding for the same weapon with the same god rolls it took a long to get in the first place...nuhuh...f*ck you Bungie.
I played Forsaken so much and enjoyed it because the gameplay and controls are world class. Stopped playing when Shadowkeep came around because of the stupid artificial grind of armor with elemental attunement and when they announced they're making all my god rolls in the vault useless I knew I'm never coming back. It's now just an absolute waste of time. Why would you farm for good rolls when they become useless in a couple months? Getting that perfect roll once is already arduous enough.
@@Shvabicu I mean, Sunsetting was necessary because once you get a god roll, the loot chase stops because by design they'll have to create a bigger better gun than yours if you want to change gear, which will only lead to more power creep as stated on the video. I think this idea was just executed poorly with re introduction of the same old weapons, So yeah, let's see how it goes in the future. Also gladly this expansion they gave us a lot of ways to chase more comfortly good rolls and gear with the Legend lost sectors and the wrathborn hunts that helps you to exclude perks, alongisde tighter perk pools and quests.
I trust Bungie to recycle the same enemies & weapons in each NEW expansion. Difference is now, they want you to re-farm for god rolls you might have already had LOL, good way to kill your game with one decision.

@@BohemioGaming Unquestionably, Warframe.
I will be fair to Destiny and say...two things Destiny has that Warframe doesn't is endgame in the form of raids, and a healthy PvP population.

Sure, maybe a few like drifter or the girl who was trapped eris morn or whatever might accept it. But they had real drama to play off of and they just didnt use it. It's a great idea that was a ball dropped.
Not to mention the gear being artificially throttled.
With the sunset gear, the only worthwhile content those expansions have are the exotic quests (Div and Xeno specifically), the raids, which have underwhelming guns, but pretty good looking gear, so I'll play them until I can get their full sets, and campaigns.

“Destiny feels like a game that is only speaking to and servicing its most hardcore players”
Lol, the hardcore players would like to have a word with you.
Facts I don’t think anyone benefits here. Nothing for us to grind or strive towards and not enough content to keep us invested.

What kind of expansion takes away more from the game than it adds?? Why would I PAY Bungie to take content out of the game? WTF??
Because: "bungie help make halo so bungie get free pass even though bungie is run by dumbasses who make Activision look like Einstien"
The answer is simple: It's so they can resell you content you already bought, with slightly new presentation; i.e. aesthetics.
Because it actually isn't part of the DLC. It was a separate update.

"If you don't trust Bungie, then there's not much here for you"
Figured as much, and staying through the whole review confirmed that.

I would get in to destiny if I didn't have to pay 40 dollars every 6 months, especially when they have so many microtransactions in the game
We have at least 2 more years of D2. They already said this.
@@Label07 Yup
Sunsetting sucks but the game was taking up too much space i do not mind losing out on a few planets if that means the game will be less than 100gbs
"Do you trust Bungie to...." No.
I trust Bungie to recycle the same enemies & weapons in each NEW expansion. Difference is now, they want you to re-farm for god rolls you might have already had LOL, good way to kill your game with one decision.
@@Label07 obviously never played it cause you would know there’s a lot more
@@dylanjohnson9803 that's the point, because the first time you play this game it's so mind numbing that people might said nope.
Heck all games literally have event that makes you went end games in 4 day, see pso2
@@Label07 Sunsetting was necessary. but Executed poorly if there's a lot of recycle indeed.
@I want to suplex Joe Cecot only hundreds? Weakling, pathetic.. kidding
Bungie removing content is why I always prefer physical media for offline use.
Lol yeah that wouldn’t matter at all with a “always online” game.
Neither of you got his point.
Neither of you got his point.
@@vewyscawymonsta because there was none to made. Offline physical media has zero to do with a game like destiny.
@@bbtbbbbtbb3166 There absolutely was one, you're just too stupid to understand that Destiny is an example of a larger problem in this context. Nice try, though.
Our vault in the tower was destroyed, but that doesn't mean they can't look through the rubble and find our old loot and give it back to us for a fee.
Don't get me wrong, I've played my fair share of Destiny, maxed three characters etc etc, but I haven't played in well over a year and nothing about this update seemed inviting. How many times do we have to wait for Destiny to get good? It's been years.
I'd say it is good right now, it's just not the best it's ever been
@@xemnufromthemagicplanet1678 I'd bet you've said that near every time Bungie comes knocking on your door for that crisp 20$ bill
Bro don't get it unless u have gane pass and can access it through that because the beyond light dlc is just as bad as avengers on launch and for some reason people aren't treating it that way it's beyond me
@@noahirestone599 nope, I don't play the game when I don't like it. Right now I'm having fun and enjoying the game with my friends. I can and have left when I didn't like the game, which is something I can do as an adult. Liking something doesn't mean supporting it blindly
Same. Uninstalled it in March and have seen absolutely nothing that would make want to come back. Apart from my weapons and armour being deleted and the time I spent getting them disrespected.
she finally explained why she didn't had time to explain
Why?
@TenseDart I've completed the campaign 3 times now, I still don't know the reason. I know she did some time travelling and I believe killed her sister or something in another timeline.
@TenseDart ok Banshee? Lmao a friend said something like Banshee is Clovis bray and I just laughed it off. Yo now that he's the exo body of Clovis bray, he better start selling us some useful shit.
@@aki-sid We both know he ain’t gonna sell us some good shit 🤣 Probably deliver us a weapon we had from a year ago with trash perks instead 😭
@@BillyNahar maybe the same mod 4 days in a row
Destiny 2: "yeah, we have to delete half the game, there's no other way."
Warframe (a much bigger game): "we updated our compression technology to half the file size but keep all content!"
Edit: I don't personally like Warframe, but I still recognize that it's superior to Destiny 2.
Honestly, Warframe would be better if they did abandon more of the old content. Stuff like hijack and kuva assault missions are complete garbage and serve absolutely no purpose. Literally the only reward you get from kuva assault is hearing Lotus say "long and hard."
@@jayleno2192 but that's the thing. You don't have to do these missions but you can if you want. It kinda sucks to have whole maps deleted especially if you put some real money in the game.
@@kongchho You are actually forced to do hijack in order to progress in Warframe. I think you only have to do it once, but that's still one too many times for that god awful game mode. Even gambit is more fun.
@@Griffballs This. I’ve got hundreds of hours and it’s just not worth staying.
The virgin Destiny and the Chad Warframe.
I feel it's missing the group events. Escalation Protocol and Blind Well for public events,. Menagerie and Forges for match made. Those with loot to chase were good time spending fun.
Problem is, majority of their promises have been left unfulfilled and they've been caught a few times now with shitty stuff like XP gating, etc.
Wait they're xp gating AGAIN???
@@Kifuremu no they are not, in fact thats the only shady thing I remember them doing and it was 3+ years ago

@@DustySticks the verification is in the game
I mean...you gonna give some examples there or anything shitty that was done besides the XP gating from 3 or 4 years ago?
I’ve been waiting for your review of this DLC. It’s been getting a lot of coverage by the community, but it’s nice to have a review from someone who doesn’t play this game 25 hours a day.
