Heechul can't really dance too long because of his injury from a car accident. His injuries hurts whenever he do physical stuff. So he just always passes by and sing his lines during performances.
He decided to back.out of comebacks before, but the members won't let him. They just told him it's okay if you just passby and sing your lines. With this he always have the flashiest entrance.😁 I swear Suju have the strongest bond in kpop.
Just want to add to this answer that that's the reason why Heechul mostly gets the lines towards the end of the song, usually in bridges so that he can come, sing his lines, and sometimes even perform with the rest until the end of the song. Suju is the best team
Heechul was in the performance video! His hair and hands covered most of his face but he was there to sing his part!
It’s still astonishing for me even after a year how a group, 16 years old, and already successful in the business still manage to break through, embrace challenge, and create this masterpiece.
Actually "la la la" part is taken by Ryeowook. Cause he has a high pitch. And can reach female ranges vocally. That's why he sings that part, oh he is also an actor for Musical drama .

If you are into the SM sound, getting to know SuperJunior is a must! They are one of the OGs! and their sound is always evolving!
Super Junior always being ahead of its time on their music and each members have their own versatility in many entertainment field like MC, actor, composer, musical actor, songwriter, MV director and even ambassador.
Their title as "King of Hallyu Wave" is no joke for most K-Pop fans since 2nd gen and it still is.
That's why they still stand strong even they already debut for 16 years now.
Fun fact: This MV being directed by one of their members, Shindong and he also done several Super Junior's MV like This is Love and Evanesce.

Heechul is in the video actually. It's not that he's too busy with variety, but he is unable to endure hard training for the performance.
That's why he only appears for a brief moment in most of suju songs. That's how Super Junior decided to include Heechul in each of their performance the safest way possible

With 16 years under their discography, 10 albums, 5 sub units- 2 sub units active until now, SJ KRY (ballad unit) & SJ D&E, solo albums from their 3 main vocalists, heechul's project mini albums, member's collab singles, there's bound to be at least 1 song that suits your taste.. it'll just take more tine to find it LoL. Their B sides are no joke also.
Like NCT, super junior is considered the group that is willing to do anti mainstream for the 2nd gen groups.
Now, super junior has the mindset of doing music they like, doing the things they wanna do coz at this point they have it all from awards, fame, and tried every kind of genres possible, rock, pop, ballads, latin (did a collab with latin singers Lesli Grace & Reik for their title track in the 8th album& repackage album in 2017)
Hope you'll give Super junior a listen and more reaction for them in the futute.

This is one of my fave Suju performances. Yes, this a very creative performance and the song is a banger.

Super Junior is one of the most important K-pop groups and played a big role in opening kpop to the world... It opened the doors for 2nd generation groups and later groups... There are 3 Super Junior members in the top 10 vocals in Korea. Especially Kyuhyun is a treasure. They started their own label under SM.. everything from the songs to the choreography is prepared by the members themselves.. even the MV filming is done by our member Shindong.. full of incredible talent SUJU. .EXO's brothers

Yes wow. The performance for Burn The Floor is one of the most creative I've ever seen and I love the song itself!
Heechul was in this performance, he was the one in the part when you said they used a warmer light.
He cant participate in the choreography because of his legs. His legs got injured in an accident. Its not that he cant dance but refused not to, maybe because he can still feel the pain in his legs.
If not mistaken the last time we saw heechul dance in a comeback, during the black suit comeback, he briefly joined them at the end of the song.
He actually shouldn't dance. After the black suit comeback his doctor told him if he'll keep going he won't be able to walk on his leg anymore. That's why he opted to stay out from Super Show 8. Honestly they can just put a thron for heechul to sit on and let the rest dance. As long as we have him present with the members who needs dance T-T we don't need dance songs.

Also so many things about burn the floor musically and choreo, it is waltz and has haunting vibes, the pizzicato string, with touch of ballet moves, the lights where they highlighting themselves and create the shadows, some choir and the rap at the end🔥

Heechul is part of the group and all group make music but have different works like acting, solo or MC in the tv. Heechul's part on SJ songs were mostly on bridge part I think. Hope you'll dive deeper into SJ. They have lots of amazing discographies.

Heechul is the lucky card for us and supper junior who suffering for years with dancing and group activity because he had be injured his leg on a car accident he want to leave lots of time because he think he is overload for them but the members hold him back and say he can even just show up in the last parts of songs and not dancing no problem the important think they all stay together

Super junior is in the kpop for 17 years. One of the most talented artist and many idols became idol because of suju or is fan of suju. They write their own music, doing cheography even directing concert , all of it just for group , each one of them is so talented too. Suju has one the greatest vocal in kpop too that known as k.r.y (kyuhyun, ryeowook, yesung) you should react to k.r.y and kyuhyun on king of masked singer.

Everybody in d grp r busy since all r hosts.. They r d variety show kings..example, Eunhyuk hosts Weekly Idol & Back to the Idol, Shindong is also in Knowing Bros, Leeteuk & Yesung in Idol VS. Idol.. So much more shows..haha.. They eveb had a main variety show of their own Super TV where they mostly had idol grps as guests..it's so much fun! U'll definitely laugh..u can check it out esp if u wanna laugh..
But a bit on d sad part, Heechul had an accident in 2006 that affected his leg greatly, so he doesn't do kuch of d dancing more & more as d tym went by.. esp now that considering his age..but he's still in d sings & MVs..

Fyi start from U era,Heechul was no able to performe the full performance,he just appear at the end of the song especially bridge part and then he get out from the stage or performe till the end,but some song he performe full performance but many of them not because of his leg injuries,Heechul not sing much but when he did he blow your mind,i hope you check up more about Super Junior

Heechul was the one when the light turned 'warm'. He cant partake in full song because of his leg (from accident) but will always sort of cameo within the song some where.

He got his part, but he didn't participate in the dance choreography because of, you know, the car accident that happened years ago.
Heechul isn't to busy, he is there in the performance video too.
Heechul line, in Super Junior always in the 3rd part/near ending in the song. Because he can't dance/doing much physical after his injury because of car accidents.
He wasn't fit to be an idol again, but he didn't want to leave SJ, nor does SJ want him to leave so they Heechul line always in near ending song. So he could join the performance and not do much dance that could worsen his body.
