Just downloaded and tried. Sounds terrible on my HX Stomp nothing like this. Even without the two engaged its way too much distortion. Tried to contact TF. No reply
@@bwz1979 hey, we try and get to our messages a few times a week. Sorry if we missed yours! Did you import and load the IRs into the preset and save? How are you monitoring? It sounds like something is not set up correctly so we just need to figure out what that is
@@bwz1979 Just found your message! That error just means that it is looking for the IR's in the same 'Impulses" tab slots that we had them in when we saved the preset. Nothing is wrong with the preset, its normal to see that when importing new presets. All you need to do is: 1. Import the IR's into the "impulses" tab of HX edit. 2. Select each IR block in the preset and navigate to the slots that you imported the IR's into. The Microsynth IR goes into the second IR block. 3. SAVE the preset and you won't see that error again and it will sound correct. Let us know if you have any other questions!
@@ToneFactor-nm2vi Sorry I did fix this issue my issue now is the actual tone/sound. Its terrible with so much distortion. Sounds nothing like this video. I was hoping someone can hop on a meeting with me like Zoom so you can see it. Then I can delete this comment thread on here
@@Tone_Factor I'm having a similar issue. I discovered last night that I forgot to import the IRs into the preset. Forgive my ignorance, but do the IRs really shape the tone enough to cause this "muddy" sound I'm getting? Also, i think its worth noting that I'm using an active Ray5 instead of a passive Jazz...not sure how much that should affect the tone but...
@@eveythingthatsadamThere is no DI out on the HX stomp. You have to have a DI in addition to the stomp. Tone hammer DI would be suggestion to the poster.
Would be really interested in them redoing this since the Tone Hammer amp/preamp was added to Helix, but win some lose some
0:19 that’s the sound. Incredible.
Just download and sounds so good! Awesome! Look forward to using on the weekend. Lesson learned - save adjustments and backup :)
TDog. What a guy. No one likes him. But yet, everyone loves him.
Nice job Tanner!
Nice sound! Make a preset for Fractal please 🙏
Yeah bass guys rejoice!!
Does he have both pickups up?
Neck only, never the bridge
MEU DEUS!
Is it just the helix, or is it through an amp?
The preset is the Stomp only. You can see him step on it during the music intro.

What DI would you suggest while using the HX Stomp?
Pinstripe Diso!
The stomp is a DI box..

@@Yaksonator oh dear. Another person on the internet that doesn't know what they are talking about. You just need a TRS to XLR cable. Done.
@@Yaksonatorit is di, but balanced trs, just get an adaptor
What song plays in the intro?
Starlight
Cool bass tones, but american worship music is soo cringe. The only music needed in church is choir and organ
Thanks! You don't like rock'n'roll in your church?!
