Couldn’t have said it better at the end, I’ve one tricked him all the way to diamond and at This level he simply does not do enough damage to kill anything. He gets shut down so easily, 2 shot by hela, one shot by Hawkeye, I’ve been one shot by punishers shotgun, frozen or slept by supports and 3 tapped, no matter how perfect or how good my dives are, he simply just doesn’t do enough damage. Then waiting a centennial for my web shooters recharge, almost better to just die and respawn to get em back tbh. Even his ult, so easy to cancel. Lower ranks I would get crazy plays, go whole games without dying, now I just can’t do anything. Everything spiderman can do can be so easily shut down.

yea he needs a buff, he's a tier under panther and magik. All these new techs people find are borderline unusable or very situational in games bc you need to " waste " web swings and web clusters to pull them off which in most cases can do more harm than good if you dont have a web swing to get out bc you used it for your combo
Just hit diamond 3 Spider-Man only today and I can agree he definitely needs some changes. I am putting in work but it feels like other characters are rewarded more for doing less. He does not need anything crazy but his webs recharge so slow that if I miss even two my chances of winning a team fight drop tremendously just because of how long I have to stall for them to recharge.
Hey Ants, there’s also another tech where you can cancel your upper cut animation followed by a web swing with proper timing - this allows for one shots as can follow up the upper cut with a right click auto a lot lot faster. Saw necros doing this think he has in his gameplay a lot
@@antsxo This one is big tho cuz you can also use it to not die, basically u can cancel like half the animation of your uppercut with swing and use that swing to escape faster, if you wanna combo it you just cancel the swing with right click and then your next meele is an overhead, this tech for me made spider man SO much stronger like its crazy and this combo does not consume a web swing charge
A buff I really want for Spidey is the ability to manually reload all your webs shots. The down time is too much, most DPS can just get their ammo back all at once instantly.
The problem with underwhelming but really skill expressive characters is that now we discover techs that can help him feels a lil more balanced. If they were to buff him, he would be way above in term of "figuring the character out" than the others, might even lead to being broken. Spider-man seem to be a balance nightmare already

I main Spider-Man too and it makes no sense. You have to wait five seconds each for every web you shoot I would understand if you were able to spam your cartridges and have to wait five to refilled the whole mag but come on five seconds each is insane.
I agree with the primary fire and I agree that he needs a few buffs but he really doesn't need anything major just a primary fire recharge change (speed it up slightly or give it a reload) and id say give him something similar to Psylocke where maybe damaging enemies reduces his uppercut cooldown or possibly when he gets a elimination on a marked enemy it resets one of his uppercuts. I just hope they keep him the high risk high reward don't make him a brain dead dps like Hella Hawkeye or Psylocke.
plus I also think tech like this is just straight up useless sorry but in a heated game nobody will be thinking about doing this just do the normal combo. it is cool don't get me wrong but the only time you'll think to do this and succeed is in a quick play where nobody is paying attention. that's just me tho.

Before I start this is because Ants didn’t know who made this. So his was made by FAME all the way back in the beta and he was the first to do it there. He also coined the more complicated versions as FAME Plink and FAME Loop, which is slightly annoying he threw his name onto allat shit but he wants legacy and he puts in the hours so I can respect it. Even so I would still recommend also watching his video and perfecting his tech completely while in the firing range in practice mode before using it in matches but the damage difference is gonna be crazy. Honestly though I’m scared at what he’s going to look like without not only his venom team up but the passive buff of 10% damage that ALLOWS him to one shot (I believe? Since it should be the thing pushing him to 25 damage on hit for some of his need to connect but I haven’t done enough testing to know for sure) If true though a lot of interactions are going to be ruined for him honestly maybe making him close to like c-d-f tier

I wouldn't buff the movement speed but the web recharge is probably the most fair so far. But maybe the reduced cool down timer when dealing damage is probably the best one including web shots instead of buffing web shots charge alone. Basically like Psylocke.
YES I think it'd be really awesome if he could run down his opponents I come from overwatch and genji has a teeny tiny movement buff and it makes a world of a difference it won't make him good, but much better
If you shoot a web after the shift and before the punch uppercut animation cancel,it eliminates the need to look up at a wall and you can get a extra web cluster hit in as well for characters with 300 hp. He still needs to be buffed tho no cap
ngl i want stun frames on his punch not alot just like .5 seconds but theres like a weird window where a luna snow or mantis can stun u in the middle of a full combo it doesnt happen all the time but it just feels so bad when it happens i think this would also make the ult way more versatile
I feel like if you give Spider-Man increased movespeed or increased melee attack range he can finish his opponents off WAY easier. The problem with him is if you miss your web shooters you’re stuck with trying to melee your opponent to finish him off but you don’t have iron fist’s melee attack range nor the fastest move speed to stick to supports.

I gotta add something to this, there is no need to use the swing to the game to recognice u double jump or anything, this can be done way faster if you input jump in the Up or Down wheel on your mouse, it makes so you double jump instantly without having to spam SPACE, wich said you RMB > E > Wheel Jump (instant double jump) LMB > F. Faster and easier
Honestly though the uppercut animation cancel is worth doing it his way. You kill them off much faster without waiting for the uppercut animation which allows you to gtfo lol

ive only used spiderman since release, and i love playing him. but he needs some buffs, you legit have to completely master him to get the kills of the average magik or ironfist player. not to mention he has low hp and if i run out of web swings im just cooked.

I think the time between being able to use your uppercut needs to be reduced. If you could use both in one fight I think it would fix his problems. You would have to play him a little differently, but he would work.
Spider-man is a difficult character to balance, but he defo needs a buff. I think his numbers are fine, and if they were to pump them up he would become far too oppressive, but his CD's need addressing. The 2nd uppercut needs to be available sooner, rn i only use it as an escape tool, or to clean up the 1-2 enemies left on point, i cant imagine that was the intent when making it. I dont think this is even a big buff, it would just make the character more consistent and accessible. Get over here's CD needs shortening. The alt-fire recharge needs shortening, and either needs some added utility, like hitting opponents that are already traced reduces his CD's, or have them prop the tracer combo for extra damage. And the wall climb needs reworking. If spiderman attaches himself to a wall that he ever so slighty clipped, ima lose my mind
idk. people complaining about having to do so much work with this character is weird. isnt that the entire point? i enjoy having a character that has to work super hard in order to get results, it makes it much more satisfying. sure i wouldnt mind some buffs, but dont make this character TOO strong. having potential locked behind skill is something to appreciate.

yo ants, theres actually a version of this i like more, and it works for toggle swing, its a bit tougher and slower but does more damage and you dont need to look up at a wall, its right click-E-shift- then immediately after the shift you shoot a right click, if you jump while doing this combo, then do the left click uppercut combo you do, it does 300 damage, killing a punisher😼 at the end it should be RMB-E-JUMP-SHIFT-RMB-LMB-UPPERCUT try it on out on a punisher bot :3
I only solo main him, legit the only reason I’m into marvel or got into comics to begin with is bc of Peter Parker spider-man he needs to be buffed big time but I know what I signed up for, you either hit your burst combos while micromanaging the little resources and extreme cooldowns…or die.
spiderman basically never runs out of resources if you swing after every single dive you do i dunno what ur talking about tbh can't even waste that last uppercut even if you wanted to cause you get almost no time to use it
There's honestly a better tech for a very similar combo that a guy named itscyber_ex found where using the scroll wheel as a secondary jump control lets you instant double jump and animation cancel a fist slam with an uppercut (basically the same result as in this video, but faster and doesn't require a wasted web). You also exit the combo with double jump momentum so you can use that now saved web to escape.
Mfs on spidey have to be nasa engineers and find combos that work in very specific situations when Hawkeye players can just spam in a direction and one shot lmao

This tech is not that great as you can see at 1:49 it take too long to do it and in higher rank if against good team they will kill you even if you able to do the tech. Necros know all the tech and he used them and tell you every flaw in every single tech with Spider-Man. Only effective combo that work in high rank is: basic combo + punch, web, punch for anyone under 300 or have no mobility. Or Basic combo + web zip, uppercut.

Love this! I’m a newly attempting Spider-Man player.. Hope I can get the battle pass! Family is on tough times this Christmas so I won’t be buying it myself.
Spiderman has a skill ceiling and an even steeper skill floor, but I don't think he should be buffed, I think everyone else should match the difficulty of the articulate, fast pace decision making that spiderman has. You whiff a web, you get punished, you hit a web, you get to potentially instantly kill one of their healers. They should not buff that at all. However, in terms in damage output in comparison to other heroes, spiderman should have something to do better sustained damage to keep up with heroes such as moon knight. My recommendation is expand his melee max range by 3 consecutive kicks instead of 2 punches and ending with the max range kick. I do think his web swings do regenerate a little too slow at times, but that's because my utilization needs to be more carefully thought out. Another idea for increased sustained damage is damage over time, if spiderman lands a lethal combo and you survive, you should either be more susceptible to damage, to mirror a broken rib lol, or you just take an additional damage over time. It's useless but it'll help get mf'ers off our back for not getting enough damage lmao
The entire point is that is you hit a web, you still aren’t even close to guaranteed a kill. Especially if they have a good back. And with the 6 second recharge time for 1 web it’s really punishing. Some games, depending on the enemies teams position, Spidey literally just feels unplayable. I agree with you somewhat, and I love having a challenge with him. But it really kills the fun and momentum when u have to just sit there waiting for ur webs to recharge. Again it’s painfully slow.
Have you seen the tech where you bind jump to scroll wheel and insta double jump for the overhead slam into instant uppercut animation cancel? It seems less situational and might even be faster. Love the vids
It’s slower due to this allowing you to uppercut as soon as you web sling as long as you’re buffering a punch you can just use your f instantly (just make sure you’re doing it right)
I'm sorry, I always understand spoken English, so maybe it's mentioned in the video, but concretely, what does this combo do better or different? Does he follow the combo that asks us to double jump with the scroll wheel for the combo: double jump + melee cancel with uppercut? Or not?
Is this more reliable than the double jump one on the long run? I have that mastered, but that can be tricky to hit enemies sometimes. Also, do you have any tips on how to get ironman out of the sky consistently? I am currently plat 2 with spidey mostly, and have trouble with ironmans :D
They just need to give him the iron fist lock on when Melee. 2.web-shooter cooldown from 15 to 10 seconds(2 seconds per shot) .3. Increase each punch from 25-30 and kick and overhead to 40-50, and that's it for spider man
Was this nerfed in today's patch? Yesterday I was getting it consistently but today I havent gotten it once after trying for 15 minutes in practice range. Just woke up and am still tired so that may be it but it still seems weird. Edit: nvm im stupid ignore this lol
My favorite character to play but they did him wrong in so many ways.. slow webs, only 5 is crazy he’s spider man.. accuracy is horrible. Then when you finally are accurate the environment ruined your move . Meanwhile others are shooting and blasting through everything locking on .

There's still combos and tech out there to find! :D My biggest tip to people is to use the "Web pull kick" only when really necessary, it lets players aim and kill you while going in for the kick, aiming for yourself and hitting them with the regular Web pull (Get over here!) locks them out from killing you and you're damage potential becomes higher :) Also when you get better at aiming your web pull you can start webnapping people and kill them away from their healers :D th-cam.com/video/7wU3u_CV81g/w-d-xo.html

I think the time between being able to use your uppercut needs to be reduced. If you could use both in one fight I think it would fix his problems. You would have to play him a little differently, but he would work.
Spider-Man needs a buff. I literally do my combo and then hit them with one or even 3 basics and they still survive.

Spider-man is a difficult character to balance, but he defo needs a buff. I think his numbers are fine, and if they were to pump them up he would become far too oppressive, but his CD's need addressing. The 2nd uppercut needs to be available sooner, rn i only use it as an escape tool, or to clean up the 1-2 enemies left on point, i cant imagine that was the intent when making it. I dont think this is even a big buff, it would just make the character more consistent and accessible. Get over here's CD needs shortening. The alt-fire recharge needs shortening, and either needs some added utility, like hitting opponents that are already traced reduces his CD's, or have them prop the tracer combo for extra damage. And the wall climb needs reworking. If spiderman attaches himself to a wall that he ever so slighty clipped, ima lose my mind
idk. people complaining about having to do so much work with this character is weird. isnt that the entire point? i enjoy having a character that has to work super hard in order to get results, it makes it much more satisfying. sure i wouldnt mind some buffs, but dont make this character TOO strong. having potential locked behind skill is something to appreciate.

@@duff137I think it’s less about effort and more about how Spider-Man is outright weaker than characters like Hela and Punisher, but requires more effort.
yo ants, theres actually a version of this i like more, and it works for toggle swing, its a bit tougher and slower but does more damage and you dont need to look up at a wall, its right click-E-shift- then immediately after the shift you shoot a right click, if you jump while doing this combo, then do the left click uppercut combo you do, it does 300 damage, killing a punisher😼 at the end it should be RMB-E-JUMP-SHIFT-RMB-LMB-UPPERCUT try it on out on a punisher bot :3

I only solo main him, legit the only reason I’m into marvel or got into comics to begin with is bc of Peter Parker spider-man he needs to be buffed big time but I know what I signed up for, you either hit your burst combos while micromanaging the little resources and extreme cooldowns…or die.
spiderman basically never runs out of resources if you swing after every single dive you do i dunno what ur talking about tbh can't even waste that last uppercut even if you wanted to cause you get almost no time to use it
There's honestly a better tech for a very similar combo that a guy named itscyber_ex found where using the scroll wheel as a secondary jump control lets you instant double jump and animation cancel a fist slam with an uppercut (basically the same result as in this video, but faster and doesn't require a wasted web). You also exit the combo with double jump momentum so you can use that now saved web to escape.

You don't really have to jump and swing you can just swing and let it carry you off the ground a bit (I sometimes find that easier)

This tech is not that great as you can see at 1:49 it take too long to do it and in higher rank if against good team they will kill you even if you able to do the tech.
Necros know all the tech and he used them and tell you every flaw in every single tech with Spider-Man.
Only effective combo that work in high rank is:
basic combo + punch, web, punch for anyone under 300 or have no mobility.
Or
Basic combo + web zip, uppercut.

This one shot combo is only good for 1v1 situations. It use too much resources if u use it too often

Spiderman has a skill ceiling and an even steeper skill floor, but I don't think he should be buffed, I think everyone else should match the difficulty of the articulate, fast pace decision making that spiderman has. You whiff a web, you get punished, you hit a web, you get to potentially instantly kill one of their healers. They should not buff that at all.
However, in terms in damage output in comparison to other heroes, spiderman should have something to do better sustained damage to keep up with heroes such as moon knight. My recommendation is expand his melee max range by 3 consecutive kicks instead of 2 punches and ending with the max range kick. I do think his web swings do regenerate a little too slow at times, but that's because my utilization needs to be more carefully thought out. Another idea for increased sustained damage is damage over time, if spiderman lands a lethal combo and you survive, you should either be more susceptible to damage, to mirror a broken rib lol, or you just take an additional damage over time. It's useless but it'll help get mf'ers off our back for not getting enough damage lmao
The entire point is that is you hit a web, you still aren’t even close to guaranteed a kill. Especially if they have a good back. And with the 6 second recharge time for 1 web it’s really punishing. Some games, depending on the enemies teams position, Spidey literally just feels unplayable. I agree with you somewhat, and I love having a challenge with him. But it really kills the fun and momentum when u have to just sit there waiting for ur webs to recharge. Again it’s painfully slow.

Have you seen the tech where you bind jump to scroll wheel and insta double jump for the overhead slam into instant uppercut animation cancel? It seems less situational and might even be faster. Love the vids
It’s slower due to this allowing you to uppercut as soon as you web sling as long as you’re buffering a punch you can just use your f instantly (just make sure you’re doing it right)

They just need to give him the iron fist lock on when Melee. 2.web-shooter cooldown from 15 to 10 seconds(2 seconds per shot) .3. Increase each punch from 25-30 and kick and overhead to 40-50, and that's it for spider man

Was this nerfed in today's patch? Yesterday I was getting it consistently but today I havent gotten it once after trying for 15 minutes in practice range. Just woke up and am still tired so that may be it but it still seems weird.

My favorite character to play but they did him wrong in so many ways.. slow webs, only 5 is crazy he’s spider man.. accuracy is horrible. Then when you finally are accurate the environment ruined your move . Meanwhile others are shooting and blasting through everything locking on .

My biggest tip to people is to use the "Web pull kick" only when really necessary, it lets players aim and kill you while going in for the kick, aiming for yourself and hitting them with the regular Web pull (Get over here!) locks them out from killing you and you're damage potential becomes higher :)
Also when you get better at aiming your web pull you can start webnapping people and kill them away from their healers :D
