Its just so frustrating that I play my absolute best games on DPS but Im almost always guilted and forced to play something else. Its remarkable how much I win as spidey/dps and lose as everything else.

Thanks to you and Somjuu I started learning Panther and I just got 23 kills with him in a match, which is more than I had with any other character. My only and biggest problems when playing Panther rn though are: •When I try to go for the backline like Mantis for example, suddenly a Adam Warlock appears behind her and they heal each other until Mantis puts me to sleep and my damage is never enough to kill atleast one of them •Most of the times when I go into a larger amount of enemies, I am completely left alone by my team and no one‘s there to heal me(even when I manage to flee) •Actually seeing if someone has a mark or not in faster than a millisecond, since I don’t wanna waste my dash + turning around in speed of light(I am fast but not as fast as Necros or Somjuu) •when I would hit a enemy with my dash but get stuck on a inanimate object and thus lose it and get sniped •When the sound for a dash reset appears but I don’t actually get the reset
You dont need to kill when you flank backlines, the fact that you made them use cooldowns and look at you is already a win as long as you did all of this when your teamate is fighting their frontline. Kills are not the only value you can get, you can also win by making them use resources. Thats why only go in on backline when you see your team fighting their ball.

As someone who mains cap, your job is to be annoying and waste cooldowns. Which the same applies to panther and probably psylocke. These characters are designed to exactly kill but just be a nuisance and avert attention of the healers and maybe a dps and tank. This allows your team to put more pressure. I prefer doing this as cap because he has the most survivability alongside mobility as a diver. Another good diver would be venom but he can be killed easier.
This game is my first hero shooter game and watching this guy swing around like a crackhead made me realize that ill never be as good at spiderman even if i spend 500 hours in this game

Learning i like to use two metaphors: 1. Not really a metaphor but learning is an exponential curve, youre fresh and will improve at a faster rate than necros 2. Anything learnable is like a path through a dense forest, the further ahead you are, the less established the path is and the more time you spend figuring out what direction to go. The newer you are, the path is more established and much faster and easier to walk
necros probably spend 500 hours on spidey alone already on top of being an ow pro with 5000+ hours on genji, there is a lot to catch up, if you want to be as good as the spidey guy
@ 100% the path is still long, im just saying its not impossible to catch up since necros is at the point where he can solidify his current skills, but his rate of improvement isnt gonna be as fast as the new players
your spiderman got me playing him and hes so fun but heres a cool tip i learned, with spidermans three hit melee combo, his third hit does a bit more damage than the first two, and cancelling the melee hit wont interupt the cycle if you melee aftert anim cancelling the melee. canceling the melee animation with your web, especially with the second hit will boost the third hit of his melee more dealing much more damage. also anim cancelling the web shot with amazing combo makes it much more powerfull too

I feel like if you hit someone with consecutive web tracker shots it should apply more effects. On each shot it could slow them down incrementally. Maybe could knock down flying characters. Its criminal to give penni parker a way better web stun/web up then the man himself.

i play QP and can do this movement, but playing spiderman is super frustrating when the team doesnt push. I pull like 3-4 players attention and my teammates are 3rd person looking around the corner afraid to walk up. Also I can't find a spot to weave in the FFame plink without getting headshotted or killed before i can get away. Any tips spidermains in the comments?
Dive timing is probably most important. With a good team you have more flexibility, but you need to wait to dive until the enemies are all being pressured. You can not 1v6 as spidey, you simply do not have the cooldowns or damage output. If you dive while your team is isn't actively pressuring, you're gonna get blasted. Plinks are really cool but take a lot of focus to pull off, so the best way I've found is to save your E. Swing or Bhop in, downslap uppercut, shoot some webs and then pull into a plink or uppercut venom so they don't run away. Another bonus is pulling yourself is crazy movement, so if you save it until after you're already started dealing some damage you can stay in the engagement a little bit longer since you're zipping around without using webswings, and able to track your target. My most common is Swing in, land on a squishy and downslam into uppercut/downslam web into uppercut, shoot some webs and atp they're gonna be running, that's when you use your E and zip back into them, if anyone turns to help atp this atleast gives some movement, that's when you make a choice. If they have someone healing them or are a tankier char, go for a plink for the additional damage, for most healers you might be able to outdamage the heals. Otherwise just do a basic combo, keep it simple so you can get outta there quicker. Know your enemies and your picks, targeting an Adam Warlock for example is a fools game he's just gonna heal himself up. Maybe dive someone else, or web pull him into your team or off a ledge. If they're too tanky or can self heal/have a pocket healing them too well in that position, instead of trying to combo them and wasting cooldowns, web pull someone important from the enemy team into bad positioning until your team is able to put enough pressure you can dive again. Maybe web pull a strategist into your team, one of their tanks to the back or off a ledge, hell if you just have to pull the healer away from their team just to buy time. Be smart with your web pulls and try to get good at landing them because you can move any character in the game 20meters, more if you're really good out of position. Maybe their tank is pulling back for heals, yank him into the team. Just moving a strong player into a bad position can really do alot, and is really good at punishing dive tanks too. As Spidey you can't do much against tanks, but if they overextend into your team, web pulling them deeper when they try to run is a good way to punish them.
a good buff for spiderman could be that his webs block some healing like the overwatch dps passive or restrict movement and my them STICKY so u can acc kill people because i feel if they buff his damage alone he could be insaneee

Almost reached grand master but lost some games and now looks like Ima have to baby sit my team as healer or Tank.
necros put jump as scroll wheel and always use it to double jump, no more wall climbs. Scroll jump into a wall and you just elevate up it without climbing animation.
