+athathoth01 Of course it's a lip sync. Dick Clark wanted the original radio versions of songs that people knew and loved. Soul Train did the same thing. It was standard practice. Despite Lip Syncs, it was still a fun time.

Its interesting to note that the drummer continues to drum after the song has ended and the record has stopped to "prove" the performance was "live". Other drummers on Bandstand would do this and it always annoyed me. Who cares if it's lipsynced? It's tv so it doesn't matter!
