This is what we can achieved , when we work hard without the “victim mentality “. Yes, Eastern Nagaland is in a remote location but there is much beauty in our location. Our resources are rich, vast & beautiful. We were labeled as “backward tribes”. We become victim to that “backward tribe” label. We believed that we are backward, even without challenging our capacity & what we can achieve. We can’t afford progress & development pass by before our eyes, labeling us backward. You have really uplifted the lives of the people of more than 200 villages in Tuensang and borders areas of Myanmar by providing cheap health care facilities rather free facilities.ECS has really worked hard changed th lives of the people of many villages by making them self reliant .. The only reason why Nagaland is in miserable state of affairs today is only because of the Forced Indian Occupation of Naga-Land. Nagaland would have been like any other country of the west today only if the India haven't occupied it. My entire village under Tuensang District in Nagaland was burnt down to ashes 9 times by the Indian military and there are records of villages in Mokokchung District which were burnt down to ashes more than 50 times by the Indian Military. Nagas are fighting for independence from Indian occupation to this day and for which my land is fully militarised by the Government of India. Nagas are not poor infact. Naga Hills are blessed with immense natural resources from Gold, Coal to Oil and the natural scenic beauty. Nagas are not lazy but Nagas are known for hardworking and persistence above all odds. Nagas or Naga-Land would have been high in GDP as high as the countries of the west but THE ONLY PROPLEM "Indian Occupation." Thousands and thousands of Nagas including innocent women and children are being killed by the Indian Military starting from early 1950s and the killing continues to this day. You must have heard, most recently the killing of 14 Naga civilians by Indian Army in Mom district of Nagaland in 4th and 5th December, 2021. Government of India has installed a puppet government in Nagaland since 1963 by dividing the Naga terriotries under four different Indian states. We all know that a puppet government can never serve the peoples interest because they are only for their personal greed motives and for which the Current State of affairs in Nagaland is absolutely miserable. The Economy front and health of Nagaland under the Puppet Government is absolute ZERO so the res front you could draw a picture yourself... Despite all the harsh subjugation of the Nagas by the Indian Military for more than 70 years now, the Naga National Movement continues to this day undefeated by the so called Asian Superpower(India). Sooner or later a new nation would be born from ashes between India, Myanmar and China. And that would be my beautiful, geat and glorious Nagaland.
Oh! I wish I could visit the place and meet people there at the same time i wish the people of the place are organized to bring home the fact of their needs in terms of school, health centre, Road and bridges that is needed and tourism to grow in the area it is corporates that should be given incntive to open places.
