Masasabi ko talaga na mas mahirap ang tagalog dahil ako ay half-canadian half-filipino, I've learned French and a little bit of spanish because its somewhat similar so thats why i think tagalog is harder, and also the thing you were saying that theres no "F in Pilipino" is not quite right, It usually depends if your speaking in tagalog or in english, for example, "The Filipino language is hard" and for tagalog "Ang Pilipino na lingwahe ay mahirap" and also we are not talking about other languages in other Filipino cultures, we are only talking about the most mentioned in the video which is TAGALOG, hope you learned something new, That's all.

@@nepnepguythegreatestofall6032 You my friend are mistaking Tagalog for Chavacano, Tagalog is a language way different from Spanish having it's loan words and Chinese loanwords(Hokkien) while retaining the grammar structure of Proto Austronesian. Example Dangerous can be said in two different ways "delikado" and "mapanganib". Books "libro" and "aklat" and... for Hokkien "hikaw" comes from "hi-kau", "ginto" from "kim-tiâu". People appreciate Tagalog less these days because they assume it's mostly Spanish. Hell English isn't even a pure language they took rootwords from Tagalog too, "boondocks" came from "bundok", the words kid use "cooties" comes from most Austronesian languages(including the Philippines) "Kuto". English is but a Romance Germanic language(with some Greek), the same way Filipino is Austronesian with Romance and Sinitic influence.

Although some of us are more fluent than others. Personally I'm more fluent in my mother tongue (Waray) since I never watched Tagalog teleserye and TV all that much in my childhood, have only been to Manila twice in my entire life, and like 99.999% of the people where I live just speak the local dialect. Tbh I only know Tagalog because of school lol, and even then most subjects were in English. Hell, all subjects are in English in higher education. I'm also really fluent in English from consuming tons of English media, and am currently learning Japanese.

The thing about it is that curse word gets used a lot even in a joking manner. If your familiar with the culture, you'll usually know not to take it seriously depending on the intonation and the way the person said it. It's like a culture thing. So despite her cursing like that to her Filipino chat, all is well because they know the context in the first place. If anything but, they're laughing and cursing back at her in a similar manner, and she too knows the context despite the cursing.
