Just rode 4 Beta's at our local demo event, i was surprised that this bike was my Favorite over the X trainer and 250RR 2 smokes. This thing lugged like a 450 and reved out like a 250 with smooth power everywhere!
Thats awesome....My riding partner and I have discussed the option of doing a Rekluse (an amazing product BTW) but I held off....mostly due to financial reasons and spending too much on other toys/accessories
Got the same bike and it’s amazing! I love the smooth power delivery and low lugging but ability to rev more than you think it would being a stroker. My favorite mod is the Midwest Mountain Engineering clutch lever. 50% less pull force required and it allows you to modulate the clutch so much easier and better during the tricky sections for sure. I don’t mind the stock tires they wear well but I will be looking for a deeper tread for the more single track adventures. I also go a taco moto kit for slimming it up and eliminating the bulky lights. It looks better and still plenty visible I just also got a tusk hand warmer set for it to put on for the cold months. I’m running the Lower seat like you but stock suspension and 5-7”. I would rather have the extra suspension but as I get older that will change. Nice video well explained especially for not riding it yet.
The weather here bums me out....but luckily, I have some butt time on my friends 390 to be assured that it will be a good bike for me. Yeah, dropping the suspension was a hard decision as I have spent all of my life looking for more (not less). But at age 60 and a change in riding venue (more dual sport)....I think it will be a wise choice in the long run. I always have the Sherco for single track. :) Thanks for watching!!
I'm thinking of getting one of those seats, just can't decide which cover material to go with. What did you get on yours? My bike came with the maxxis tires, I didn't like them, now I run DOT gummies. Watch that rubber cap over the sd card slot, it likes to come loose.
I have a 390re on order that I will make street legal, debating on lowering it. My KTM 350 is lowered and sometimes regret it and sometimes I don't,,,lol
The guys at the shop looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to lower it so much…but once I explained my plans for the bike, they thought it the mods made sense. We will see… I’m definitely going to get a skid plate with more protection for the linkage system though.
I just got a 2024 Beta 390 RS today! I finally upgraded from my good old XR250R.

I also have 2023 390 rrs. I Lowered mine with 2 inch factory kit. Plus I added a Rekluse clutch. I love my bike.

@@bigspy100 New to Betas. What is the primary benefit of the Rekluse clutch?

I didn’t know there were options on materials…this was the one the dealer had in stock.
Did you do the work on the suspension yourself or did CycleTech do it?
Cycle Tech did everything before I picked up the bike....Best Money ever spent! They do great work
@@Springtailsolutions i was just in there the other day looking at a 390.

I see you can flat foot it, but how tall are you??
5 foot 10 inches, we did a follow up video that shows some real use footage.

Where can I buy that seat?
Seat concepts or your Beta dealer may stock them
