My most favored returning worlds are the older ones I'd like to see get the Unreal Engine treatment. Imagine a place like Wonderland getting such a massive expansion, they could go nuts with that one.
Amazing vid as always Pat! As much as I would LOVE to talk about Disney shows for 10 minutes straight, I think a returning worlds video should probs be the natural end to this and dedicating a whole vid to those out of the box properties would be... I don't wanna say pointless cuz again I LOVE me some Disney animated television but pointless is the only word that comes to mind. Maybe a fill-in-the-blank survey asking people what properties should still be talked about and if there's enough overlap on certain ones make a short vid on that? Or maybe like a tweet lol. No matter what you do it's sure to be fun, just don't frustrate yourself or burn yourself out talking about stuff that is probs never gonna make it in and that you likely don't care about. But just in case, the good Disney shows are Gravity Falls, The Owl House, DuckTales, Amphibia, Phineas and Ferb, and anything older than that is even more impossible so I'll stop there. :)
Admittedly, the worlds that I want will probably not happen but I have a lot of confidence and do not have much of a problem seeing a Monstropolis rehash (even if it's really soon) to include lore from Monsters At Work, a series set in the same Monsters Inc building.
Man, I was REALLY hoping you'd do Disney TV as Part 4. Doing TV Cartoons or TV stuff does fit with the name "Quadratum" aka "Square" (an alternate guess on that robot foot is Final Fantasy VI's Magitek Armour) or "Box" (like a TV?).
Hm, so, the theme for Part 4 will be Returning Worlds, huh? Could the theme for Part 5 be Disney Shows then? Or heck, maybe even Other Disney Games, that would be something, right? Anyway, about these Returning Worlds, the main thought process i had for the most of them, were that i would like to see Reunions being made and Promises being kept, As well as seeing how the Older Worlds would look like in the Unreal Engine, I would also like to see, how any of our other World-Traveling Protagonists would look like in the Worlds that required Sora and Pals to change forms in order to fit-in said World, i wouldn’t mind seeing a Mermaid Kairi😏. Also, i would still like to know, where King Triton’s knowledge about the Keyblade and the Wielders role within the larger scope of the Worlds came from, especially after seeing what has been presented through the X Saga, i wonder where and how exactly Triton learn about all this?

Back when 358/2 Days was being made, I remember that year on April Fools, one of hte big KH sites announced High School Musical was gonna be in the game, an they did a few mockup screenshots using I believe a HSM DS game and putting Roxas and Xion in it. Me and all of my friends believed it, all of my friends freaked out about how bad it was gonna be, I just said "Oh it's the minigame world" and they calmed down. After that I actually forgot about the hoax until the PS3 movie version of Days came out, and remembered "Oh yeah, that was a joke once."
I know this sounds insane but I think there's an argument to be made that The Twilight Zone *already has* Kingdom Hearts representation. Twilight Thorn's Japanese name is Twilight Zone and the first episode of the series is about a man living in a simulated town while he's actually asleep in a pod. I don't know if there's any direct parallels to the 7 Wonders or the Mansion but the whole world does involve the supernatural
My hope is that quadratum gets the persona/TWETY treatment, where the city is “normal” but has zany things happening. I think that would allow for an avengers battle of New York, Christopher Robin, and a lot of other properties that are set in metropolises to be represented without needing separate worlds. I also am a huge supporter of Star Wars being contained to only happening during gummi travel, where each encounter gets you closer and closer to boarding the death star. It just writes itself! Also HSM in quadratum would be DOPE
That would actually fit with an idea I had wherein Palpatine and Vader fill the Maleficent role, which could be necessary if MoM wouldn't be an active antagonist this go around.
I could audibly, viscerally imagine SDG reacting to Sora being a "Sidekick" and Donnie + The Goof being "Heroes"; SDG stands for Shocked, Dapper, and Gentle, respectively.
There's no precedent for Kingdom Hearts to do this ... but with how undeniably of an odd (but exciting) direction KH4 is going in, I don't see it as impossible. A Marvel world shouldn't be limited to just adapting the MCU. It shouldn't be limited by needing to be live action, or any particular immediately identifiable art style. There has been hundreds of artistic interpretations of Marvel properties throughout comics, movies, TV shows, and video games. Kingdom Hearts should go crazy and allow Nomura to create his own weird interpretation of the Marvel universe. No need for actor likeliness, just need to have some iconic heroes in costume for the trailers and you'll be able to capture that Marvel fan market. Huge potential.
I always thought it be cool if Marvel went to Disney and Square and said , “Let’s just cut to the chase here. You probably want to use Marvel but then there’s the mess of, what film, the characters, the canon, yada yada. So Square here you go, your own universe in the greater marvel multiverse to play with.”
Square Enix did create action figures of what Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Spider-man, Captain America, Thor etc would look like if Tetsuya Nomura designed them so it is possible
As someone who’s been obsessed with Star Wars ever since I was 8, I’d like to add a few things. Firstly, you didn’t mention it, but SW is not only one of the most famous franchises of all time, but Nomura has stated in the past that he is a massive fan of it. So it checks out an even more important box than just being successful. Let’s be honest, the reason Olympus is such a recurring world isn’t because the Disney executives are pushing it, it’s because Nomura wants it. Secondly I’d just like to mention that even if by some chance we don’t get a Star Wars world, its presence still is and has been felt in the series for a good while now, due to Nomura’s aforementioned fondness for the franchise. Everyone has heard the famous joke about how Xehanort and Terra are literally Palpatine and Anakin, and also Mark Hammil was chosen to voice Eraqus due to his role as Luke. Eraqus who by an astounding coincidence, tried to kill his student to stop the plans of the Big Bad full seven years before the god awful Episode VIII existed. But I’d say the first really obvious SW nod was just… Everything about Xemnas. Not only he wears all black and has yellow eyes, just like the Sith, his Ethereal Blades and nothingness attacks are extremely reminiscent of the red lightsabers and Force lightning technique that they use. But it runs even deeper than that. Many of KH’s most important and recurring themes are very similar to Star Wars. Not just the light versus darkness stuff (if anything that’s just fantasy writing 101). For instance, unchecked ambition and the consequences it brings are at the core of the villains of both series. This also leads to the ultimate moral that true happiness and fulfillment doesn’t come from physical power, but from friendship and connection. Both Xehanort and Vader chose to pursuit power and knowledge, and their ambition brought ruin to the people they cared for as well as themselves. Destiny is also a core notion of both SW and KH, with Xehanort, Palpatine and Vader believing in the seeming inevitability of a “written” or pre-determined destiny, only to be proven wrong by Sora and Luke, both of whom fought against their supposed “destinies” to save the people important to them. So even if Star Wars never sees the light of day in Kingdom Hearts, I still find it interesting to think about and analyze how SW impacted KH. (Those last three paragraphs were honestly just for me. I said I’ve been obsessed with Star Wars since I was eight, and I am also obsessed with themes, so…)
SW would be a great fit, no matter if Nomura uses the original or the prequel trilogies. Just as long as KH never touches the Disney-created content, we're golden. Hell, I'd love to see Sora falling into one of Gryph's cons.
with you on the notion that these franchises are worth comparing story-wise, even if i don't agree they're actually cohesive as side-by-side stories. will violently disagree on last jedi, though, which is basically my kingdom hearts brain's logical conclusion to the ending The Force Awakens set up. good movies. (the less said about Rise of Skywalker the better, though)
Star Wars is already in the KH4 trailer so we don't need to worry there. Only speculation is which trilogy, and sadly the most likely is the sequel trilogy, but the original trilogy would be dearly loved, and with how Nomura loves his classics, I have high hopes for Sora talking with Luke Skywalker and fighting Darth freaking Vader.
Ditto, although I think the reason we had to wait two months for this one is that it takes time to do the video editing and scripting, along with giving his thought on each of the Live-Action Disney properties. I bet if he does another one but on his opinion on which Disney worlds would return for the next KH game, we might wait another month or two.
I think Hocus Pocus is tailor made for KH4 given the rumor of dealing with the concept of death and unreality. The Sanderson Sisters can be brought back and have to steal the Hearts of children in order to cement their existence again. A boss gauntlet of the Sisters would be amazing as well, but I do see our party member being Billy Butcherson rather than the kids or Binx. We could even say Dani is a New Seven Hearts as well given how integral she was to the plot, maybe the Sisters are gunning for her specifically because devouring one of those is better than a normal one. It’s a bit of plot rehashing but I think it writes itself!
I'm fully onboard for this! Much like Haunted Mansion, its a solid stand-in for Halloween Town as a spooky-themed world. You've got a visually striking environment with the town of Salem decorated for Halloween and the Sanderson's cottage and cemetery being the central landmarks.
Right? And if we really want to tie it into KH lore we can give them knowledge of Kingdom Hearts and change their goal to achieve “untold wisdom” which has an added perk of youth, rather than that being their main goal. Also, I bet 100% their actresses would be down to do the voices!
I would love a _Hocus Pocus_ world, however when it comes to Disney worlds that appear in the _Kingdom Hearts_ games they are usually chosen based on the following: 1. Which Disney films Nomura and the team want as worlds for the specific KH game. 2. The themes that the specific returning and new Disney worlds based on that Disney or Pixar film have in common to the theme of the specific KH game (e.g. Friendship, Trust, Connections, Promises, etc.) - Which is debatable. 3. The Story the Disney world can offer for Sora's development and in the game's story. 4. The gameplay value and the environment that the world can offer. 5. Level Variety. 6. Disney and/or the fans giving Requests and suggestions to which films they want to see added in the game to Nomura and the team (e.g. Big Hero 6 in KH3, Hunchback in DDD). Not to mention Nomura also chooses worlds based on a Thematic and Aesthetic standpoint, so literally it's up to Nomura if he want to have Hocus Pocus or choose a different world and save Hocus Pocus for another KH game.

Personally, I think a video on the disney animated TV shows might be worthwhile. There are a lot of fun properties to draw from, like Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Gummi Bears, Owl House, Gravity Falls, Star Vs. (despite its issues), Amphibia, Phineas and Ferb, etc.
I’d dig a Kim Possible world. Not sure how that would play out entirely, but I’d like Kim and Ron as party members. I also think the TV show would also be the most likely scenario for us to get a proper Lilo & Stitch world set on Kaua'i. The movie is a bit too relationship-centric to work as a KH world imo.
I think the problem is likelihood most Disney channel shows aren't that well known in the general public so most of them as much as it hurts to say will probably never get Kingdom Hearts Worlds trust me I love Gravity Falls I love Owl House I love amphibia I die to see them get Worlds in Kingdom Hearts it just ain't happening Phineas and Ferb and duck Tales of the only two that actually had a shot an even then Slim
@@kwproductions6737 same phineas and ferb wouldn't work because of it's status quo nature and generally less action heavy focus having all the characters not being allowed to interact with each other at the same time also sucks because you would have to have sora and friends not interact with half the cast if they say teamed up with perry to fight doof then A they can't have dialogue with perry because he is a platypus and B can't interact with the family or the boys or they would blow his cover if they hang out with the boys then perry will be a mindless pet barely any action no doof norm monogram the parents etc the only one I see working is ducktales 2017 especially now with the unreality stuff where alternate versions of older characters seems to be the way to go the show is adventure based making it good for action plenty of workable party members etc
I think the easiest, best way to implement MCU would be to make a "New York City" world where Sora Donald and Goofy simply team up with the original Avengers because the city is under attack of the Heartless, with one of the big baddies of KH4 leading the invasion for some reason. Basically Avengers 2012 but with the Heartless instead of the Loki army.
imagine if they did battleworld similar to kh1 and 2 olympus as a tournament where you could fight any random hero or villain potentially from any universe to tie in with the unreality thing we could have a 3vs1 with all the live action spider men you could have to fight the comic big hero six to contrast them with the ones from kh3 etc etc and if people don't know who they are maybe the announcer could explain who they are before the match or an optional sign could say it outside the arena it could be great
It is only now that I realize no one suggested The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) for this topic. Not that I think it would've had a chance or be a popular choice to begin with, but wizard Nicolas Cage would be my prefered Disney incluson of him over National Treasure.
It would feel like a fever dream, but so does most of Kingdom Hearts and I love Nicolas Cage (and share a birthday with him) so I'm 10,000% here for it.
If Highschool Musical is referenced in Kingdom Hearts it better be massive. Not just an Atlantica-styled mini game music world. But somehow integrated into every world, the combat system, and the overarching plot. The keyblade is replaced with a basketball, Nobodies are created when Sharpay calls them losers, Sora sings all the time about how he wants to sing, etc. If they're going to be stupid, be VERY stupid.
Genuinely my favorite series of yours. As a kid I used to imagine all sorts of potential ideas for using more obscure or out-there properties for KH and this is scratching that exact itch. I would definitely love both a returning worlds and an other/TV/etc. video, I know KH has flirted with the idea before (they were gonna use Gargoyles for that one canceled mobile game)
I think a Maleficent world could be really interesting. Having Sora initially view her as an enemy and come to realize what the new version of her went though and her motivation might give Sora a chance to view things a little less black and white.
Not to mention it screws with his memories again given the events of Kingdom Hearts 1. Only problem is that such a situation might be too similar to the confrontation with 20's Pete in Timeless River.
Also, it might be interesting having OG Maleficent there. With both her and Sora thinking that she'll remain a villain, with Maleficent being the more outward about it, and Sora saying that he doesn't believe she has to be the villain, but subconsciously treating and reacting to her in that way.

I have loved this series so much so i know i would want a returning worlds installment, but even if you don't include that i would still want to see you like a conclusion episode. throughout this series you've said how some worlds are more likely than others based on environments, so i'd like to see you build out a roster for what you think/want the kh4 worlds to be
Yeah, I'd love that. Like a core 7 worlds with a select handful of honorable mentions, just using the highest scores to go off of, whether it's a dream pick 7 vs. most likely 7 or overall highest rated.
As much as I would love an _Enchanted_ world, due to the "fish-out-of-water" story and the Live-Action aesthetic that could tie to the Unreality/Quadratum, I don't know how the story for _Enchanted_ would fit in with _Kingdom Hearts_ and what conflict would the world have. Because the only conflicts that happened throughout the film is mostly on whether Giselle wants to live in New York or Andalasia, Prince Edward trying to bring Giselle back home and Nathaniel attempting to kill Giselle at orders of Queen Narissa. Speaking of Narissa, I think another thing that could hinder Enchanted from becoming a world is that Narissa doesn't come in to become a huge threat until the climax of the movie to deal with Giselle after Nathaniel had failed to kill her, plus New York has been utilized *A LOT* as a setting in most of the movies from Disney especially the Live-Action films (e.g. Newsies, Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Avengers, etc.).

If you had to include 1 live action remake or adjacent film, it should be Alice in Wonderland. Since it was one of the first worlds Sora went to in KH1, it'd be a good juxtaposition for his journey in KH4. It's much darker, it could show the audience how unreality is entirely separate, Sora's alone, etc.
Love this video! I absolutely need a Sharpay boss fight with epic remix of Fabulous blaring in the background. 10/10 NEED! I would also love to see you explore some other DCOM classics like Halloweentown, Camp Rock, Twitches, etc. While they’d be unlikely I just want to see how much the fans would like them/how they could work in KH4!
KH4 should have its first multi-movie world with Peter Pan, Pooh Bear, Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians, and Great Mouse Detective. Just all running their stories all at the same exact time in London.
Here are the my thoughts on what worlds from this list I would like to see in KH4: 1. Cinderella: I think it would be fun. I always wished Sora had visited the Castle of Dreams. I also think that after being plunged into Darkness, the Castle of Dreams could be “reborn” in “live action” in Quadratum. 2. Christopher Robin: Yeah, I think Sora filling in for Christopher Robin and visiting the same Pooh in a different font (Quadratum/“Unreality”) would be really fun. The book can exist outside of “Reality” or there can be multiple 100 Acre Wood books. 3. Maleficent: I see this as a delve into Maleficent’s origins. That, or a look at the hero she could’ve been. Regardless, I would love to see a battle of Maleficents. 4. MCU: Thor: Love and Thunder: While I know “Thor: Love and Thunder” is a relatively new movie and not a very well received one, the “Eternity” world in “Thor: Love and Thunder” looks a whole lot like “The Final World” in Kingdom Hearts. I would love for there to be a connection between the two and I think that Gorr could work really well with the Heartless as he has succumbed to Darkness himself. 5. Enchanted: This one’s a fun one. I can see Sora and Giselle being friends. And I can see a team up between Maleficent and Queen Narissa. 6. Avatar: I’m gonna be honest. I’ve never seen Avatar and thus have never understood the hype. But this one would be another fun one. Sci-fi mixing with Magic. We could see a blue-cat-Sora. These fantasy creatures could fight off Heartless. It would be really fun! 7. Star Wars (Original Trilogy): I think as long as we have a lightsaber fight between Sora (who is taking Luke Skywalker’s place) and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, who is another who’s heart has succumbed to Darkness, and a whole lot of Heartless, I think that would be enough. Maybe have Ventus, Aqua, and Terra blow up the Death Star. I dunno. 8. Once Upon A Time: This one wasn’t on the list, but I’d like to include it! “Once Upon A Time” is just The Brothers Grimm’s Kingdom Hearts. I would love to see an interaction between Sora and “The Dark One”/Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold. I think he would really mess with Sora’s head and give a ton of character development to Sora. Others I would like to see interact with Sora are Emma, Henry, and Hook. Sora likes pirates so seeing an alternate version of Captain Hook who more closely resembles a domesticated Jack Sparrow would be interesting. I think Sora and Henry would have a lot in common. And I think that both Emma and Sora could benefit from meeting each other. I also think it would be cool to see Rumplestiltskin either fight, control, or study Heartless as well as giving valuable information on The Keyblade. In addition, Maleficent vs Regina Mills would be fun.

As someone who adores the Disney classics, I would love for stuff like Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks to be included, but honestly, you've sold me on absolute nonsense worlds like Holes, High School Musical and National Treasure, especially the motion flow around the Liberty Bell :')
I think star wars is practically guaranteed most likely because it just makes sense imo. I have a feeling Disney will be pushing a lot for marvel but I personally would much prefer the incredibles over a marvel world. I like marvel movies but the incredibles is something I've been hoping for for a while in the series. This video is super good so far! You put a lot of work in it and I think it definitely shows. Jungle Book not having its animated counterpart already represented in the series could create an interesting scenario where both Jungle Book (Animated) and Jungle Book (Live Action) are worlds simultaneously, helping to directly contrast how the Light and Unreality versions of worlds differ from one another. This would be particularly helpful for anyone new to the series, who might not be familiar with the KH versions of worlds in previous games and thus have no baseline to compare the new live action iterations to.
I am so ungodly late on this video, but I feel like if they don’t do a Mary Poppins world, I feel like Mary Poppins herself could be a really solid candidate for a Summon! They could have her and Sora do some wacky shit, and considering her pretty iconic status in Disney’s Live-Action lineup, I wouldn’t be shocked to see her at all.
If we're talking about themes and aesthetic, Hocus Pocus fits in very nicely. If KH IV focuses on themes like death and rebirth, well, Hocus Pocus revolves around a dark version of that with the Sanderson Sisters being brought back to life. Also, I just really want a chance to hit Winifred Sanderson with a giant key. It sounds like a good time to me.
The chronicles of Narnia would be amazing world to visit as Sora and help the sons of Adam & daughters of Eve kill the white which in pt1 and when we go back catch up to prince caspian or the last battle. Another world would be Avatar for sure because those two are movies that deal with not only nostalgia but they’re worlds are KH4 #Worthy
My prediction list: “Disney” movies: - Christopher Robin (live action whinnie) - Alice in wonderland (live action) - maleficent These 3 seem like perfect KH4 games. Live action, while revisiting previous franchises within the KH universe in a different way. A lot of potential here. The popular live action movies: - Star Wars (it’s Star Wars, come on) - Mcu (if any I could see thor, as Asgard would make for a great location and I think works best out of the mcu) - avatar (number 1 box office movie in the world with numerous sequels coming out, Disney would not miss that opportunity. Also has a lot of potential for stunning locations and gameplay)

"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" had a sequel called "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid" (and no, it doesn't involve exploding children), this means that world can include both shrinking and growth if Ant-man isn't available.
I think one thing we haven't considered (or I haven't seen much talk about) is the possibility that KH4 won't have traditional worlds separate from each other, but moreso one hub world with a few main areas that many different IPs could crossover into, and maybe lead to smaller areas connected to IPs that are more fantastical like Toontown or Enchanted's fairytale kingdom. New York, London, the Amazon, and Quadratum/not-Tokyo alone could contain the vast amount of these live-action films, and having outer space travel could easily toss in Star Wars, John Carter, Avatar, Treasure Planet and more into one connected galaxy! The individual ″non-hub″ worlds would be smaller, yes (I'm thinking KH1 or DDD), but the idea of traveling around not-Earth and fake-Space, seeing where all these live-action events happen in relation to each other, and basically playing KH mixed with GTA or the Spider-Man/Arkham games sounds really cool!
Hehehe, i feel like you and I has the same thought process about some of these, especially with the Maleficent Movies, if there will ever be a concept of Alternate Realities, Alternate Worlds, that are basically different versions of Worlds already visited, i think a World based on those two Movies would be a good entry point for a concept like that and the thought of having the (from what I understand) more Redeemable Modern Maleficent meeting, interacting and maybe even facing the more Pure-Evil Classic Maleficent is very fascinating. Anyway, yes, i would very much like to see more Parts of this, they have been very interesting and I feel like they add to the anticipation for Kingdom Hearts 4.
Congrats on getting this one done, man! It was a filled with a lot of blander properties and while there’s certainly potential for a number of these, it’s generally not as exciting as the animated stuff. But yeah! Good work! 👏 Personally, I’d love to see a ranking for TV show properties, even though KH hasn’t really dipped it’s toes in that pool yet, I think there’s so many cool possibilities here. Not just for the characters and worlds themselves, but cool art direction and in-style transformations for SDG. I’d also just generally be interested in seeing how popular this idea is amongst the general KH fanbase or if it’s mostly just fellow animators like myself who find this idea appealing. Either way, if the returning worlds one ends up being the last poll, I totally get it. This has been a fun look at the possibilities!

Christopher Robin could work in having it be the reverse to how sora normally visits Pooh and friends, Pooh and company begin getting worried about how sora hasn’t visited in awhile so they leave the book and with quadratum having the realistic looks that can easily explain away why they’re not cartoony. Edit: I have no idea how they’ll leave the book that’s not my problem to figure out but yeah
I also want to say, if Unreality goes all in on the concept of live action remakes being alternate realities of worlds Sora has already been to, a Christopher Robin world could be really interesting for some lore explaining. Sora meets the Unreality Pooh, who, of course, has no clue who Sora is, but their friendship grows as you visit Pooh's world. By the end, Pooh says something like "Boy, it feels lile I've known you my whole life," and we get this little peek into the idea that the heart of these Unreality characters are, more or less, the same as the versions we already know.
You mentioning Inspector gadgets penny as a princess Of heart is actually very fitting, as Michelle Trachtenberg’s other Disney movie is ice Princess! :-) Which I actually thought of years ago how it could work as a kingdom hearts world/Minigame
I would love to see a part four to this! I feel like this series is really helping to fill the gap without KH4 news, and its fun because we don't know much about this game so the potential is endless. I would say make a miscellaneous part 4. Some TV Shows (Definitely Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls), some Fox, any other left overs.
Theory: KH4 will have several "hubs" that each contain a massive crossover between multiple similar IPs. "Space" could have Star Wars, Treasure Planet, and maybe some cameos along the lines of Lilo and Stitch or Lightyear. "The Sea" could hit Moana, Pirates, Luca, and possibly Nemo. "The Jungle" for Jungle Book, etc... Its just a thought, but something that might work, assuming property rights and such are settled. Party members would probably also need to be handed out situationally instead of being able to just swap between any and all of them, and come to think of it there would be a LOT of chraracters to design, but hey, it could be a possibility, as big as games are these days.
The talk of Christopher Robin got me thinking about the prospect of the plotline being important to Sora in Quadratum. Without having seen the movie but knowing from trailers that the 100 Acre Wood characters visit CR and remind him of what it's like to be a kid (Or something like that) I could see them, or at least Pooh showing up in their updated looks in Quadratum and helping Sora find his way out and back to the real world. Then afterwards he could visit the book for the usual mini game fun. Might be a good way to follow up on the weakened connection touched on in KH3 and giving the WtP characters more involvement after their less than favourable envolvement in KH3. Would be a very different use of the characters than has been typically in the series but it could be cute.
On the note of the different imaginings of the established characters, _Once Upon a Time_ might actually be a rather interesting addition. I don't think they'd ever actually do it, but the premise of the characters all needing to escape to a different world to avoid the destruction of their own rings very KH1, with Storybrooke acting as a stand-in for Traverse Town. Years ago when I watched it, it very much felt to me just like a watered-down version of Kingdom Hearts. In terms of combat there's, uh... Rumpelstiltskin? Sure, yeah, let's go with that. Yeah a part 4 is a good idea. Some worlds have more potential than others and with kh4 trailer and dark road in mind, a world like Olympus has reason to return
It wasn’t on your list, but I want to toss in Mary Poppins Returns. I have no doubt they’d want to do the original first, but there are a few reasons I think it would work better and has potential as a full world: As discussed with other movies, there are themes of grieving loved ones who’ve passed on as a grown Michael Banks’s wife, the new Banks children’s’ mum, passed before the film takes place (and maybe finally we can bring up Sora’s mom?!? 🤣) It has a lot of beautiful and diverse visual styles, from CGI to 2D, each blended w/ the live action, which I think would make for a visually stunning world. You could explore a little of 1930s London w/ the lamplighters, I think it’d be visually distinct enough from Quadratum to work. Sora climbing Big Ben might bring up some memories of flying with Peter Pan tho lol. I visualize it as being like a more expansive Timeless River type world where you can visit the various locales as “sub-worlds” to explore, with the children’s room acting as a hub where you could interact with different objects representing each one to access them (ex: the bathtub for the undersea world w/ giant toys, the Royal Doulton Bowl to visit the music hall, a balloon takes you up to the “lovely London sky”, etc.) The movie’s plot hinges around the Banks family scrambling to find proof of the shares in the bank left to them by Mr. Banks from the original film so they can pay their loans before 17 Cherry Tree Lane is repossessed. Spoiler alert: Michael, who wanted to be an artist but gave up on the dream because it didn’t make money to work as a bank teller at the bank he owns shares in, had unknowingly drawn a picture of his family on the back of the certificate, which through undoubtedly Mary’s invisible touch ends up being cut up by the youngest child and used to mend a kite. I could see these pieces being scattered and Sora having to jump around each of the sub-worlds to find them. As for why pretty anime boy is trusted and invited into the home of a 1930’s British family? Mary summoned him to help 🤷 that feels in character, and I love the implications lol. I’d love to see Emily Blunt’s slightly more scrutinizing Mary correct Sora’s posture and manners but saying “he’ll have to do” before sending him on his mission.
i want a starwars world in kh4 to be kinda like kh1 monstro in how you get there initially where you're travelling and get tractor beamed into the death star, while Sora tries to figure out where he is you meet up with some star wars characters, heck maybe Sora gets Terra'd and joins the empire for a little bit which leads to him down on endor until he meets the resistance and switches sides

Speaking for my own wishes, I personally voted for the Haunted Mansion to be there only because of the potential for the ride itself. Forget the movie, I was thinking of Constance Hatchaway the entire time. And that was my mentality for a lot of these properties too, because there's a lot of potential for original ideas regarding these.
Too bad Disney didn't buy up Adam Sandler by now. I'd love to see a Click world where Sora, Donald, and Goofy all get ill, chug tussin, gobble sugary treats, fall asleep in a mattress store, and have a shared life changing psychedelic fever dream. Plus the remote's mechanics would be a lot of fun, and Nomura could exploit it to do wacky and unexpected things with the lore.

For many years I've always had an idea for how they could incorporate the MCU or just Marvel as a whole into Kingdom Hearts and that is to have it fill the roll of the 100 Acre Wood from KH1 and 2. I'm not talking about the minigame aspect of 100 Acre, I'm talking about how you access the world: the Torn Pages. To me it, makes way too much sense that if one of the two biggest names in all of comics is going to be in KH that the way access the world is by finding torn comic pages, or even full comic books, in other worlds like you had to do previously. I see two ways of them doing the world itself this way. The first being that each page you find leads to a self contained comic book like story. Each one would be its own things where Sora teams up with that issues hero to take on that issues villain, like teaming up with Spider-Man to fight Doc Ock in a one-shot adventure. But I'm assuming that if Marvel is going to be in KH at all then it'll be through the lens of the MCU which is where idea two comes in. If they stick with the 5 page setup from prior games then 4 of the 5 pages could be reserved for abridged versions of the individual movies of the big 4 of the Avengers: Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. Then you have the 5th page drop you right in the middle of the Battle of New York from Avengers. That might seem like a pretty large scale and probably unrealistic plan but hey weirder things have happened to this series. To top it off I thought a neat kind of "icing on the cake" idea would be how you actually enter the world. All the comics you find are housed in a comic book store in Quadratam that's run by non other than the late great Stan Lee and when you complete the world you get a keyblade called "Excelsior" or "True Believer." But if they didn't want to or couldn't use Stan Lee's likeness I guess another Disney character could run the store though I'm not sure who. Frankly my backup character would be Deadpool for no real reason other than Deadpool could almost fit in anywhere and we all would just kind of accept it. I did not mean to make this an entire essay nor did I realize how much thought I've actually put into this. Realistically it would probably be an MCU world accessed like all the others but I thought this would be a neat way to give some uniqueness to a franchise that may otherwise struggle with finding an identity in a game where it seems like a big cityscape is already going to be your home base for this adventure.
I mean…Star Wars in KH is pretty much an inevitability, between Xemnas’s definitely-not-lightsabers, Mickey’s fighting style being very reminiscent of Prequel Yoda, and even the assault on the second Death Star all being in KH2, along with the themes of light and dark, Master Eraqus being voiced by Mark Hamill, and Terra’s story being very reminiscent of Anakin, Nomura has gotta have wanted Star Wars since the moment Disney got ahold of it
I like the idea of having a mix of both prequel and OT trilogies. It's heavily reliant on the fact of "world returning" making a return though if not just spreading the story out to three games. Basically the first visit would be episode 3. I want it to start on episode 3 is because I love the idea of Sora making a friend who falls to darkness/the dark side, and actually stays there. I really can't think of an issue where he has dealt with a friend/ally and they turned evil and stayed evil so I think that could be something interesting for him to deal with. Anakin's downfall could obviously be a parallel to Riku and what he could've been if he embraced and went full darkness. I kinda have a general outline of how the events of episode 3 would go but I'm mainly going by themes here. Anyway, episode 3 would play out, you end with Sora distraught at the fact that one of his friends/allies fell to darkness and he couldn't save him. Debating on whether i want Sora to know Anakin goes by Darth Vader. I think there's both positives and negatives for both sides. Next time we come back, it would be episode 5. I really don't think there's much in episode 4 to be had and just starting the OT here would be better. The only real thing would be meeting with Obi Wan again but he appears as a force ghost so there's really no point in my opinion. Here is where the debate of Sora having the knowledge of Anakin being Vader creeps in. On one hand, sora knowing kinda brings a conflict where he might think it's better to tell Luke but Obi Wan and maybe even Yoda are like "nah", so they're telling him to lie to Luke. I don't think Sora has ever lied to his friends before so it could be interesting. But on the other hand, Sora not knowing Anakin is Vader could be interesting to see him reminisce about Anakin, much like Obi Wan did, only to have the harsh reality be is that Anakin survived and is now Vader. And he has to come to terms with the fact that not only did he presume Anakin dead (although they won't say the word), he has been around for this long and actively partook in the many atrocities he committed. At the end of episode 3, sora could've still had a bit of hope that Anakin could still come back, much like Padme. This revelation however, could flip his perspective and have him think "there's no hope for him. He's actually gone" This would impact his view going into episode 6. If he knows Anakin was Vader the whole time, it would mainly be a sorrowful fight for Sora. A fight between a father, a son, and a friend. But if he didn't know, he could be more bitter. Resentment for having once called Anakin a friend when Anakin has lived the past 30 years as the right hand man to a dictator. It's only when he sees Vader throw Palpatine down the shaft and saving him and Luke from death by electrocution that he sees the Anakin he once knew again, although a tiny speck of it. While I know this exact rough outline is probably not gonna happen, it's one of the few conceptual worlds I'd love to see purely for thematic purposes. Yes it'd be cool to have a 2v1 with Vader on cloud city or death star 2. Or even the duel on Mustafar, but I want to see Sora come to terms with the fact that someone he called an ally/friend is now someone he has to call an enemy and there's no bringing them back to the light. At least not for a long while but that's way after the fact Vader has committed many atrocities in the name of the Empire But that's just my ideal take on incorporating star wars into Kingdom Hearts
There's another thing to consider also, in that they're more likely going to focus on fewer worlds, but much larger and longer in scope than previous KH games. So I doubt Haunted Mansion would get in because it would be a pretty limited area space.
Even fewer than KH3? I feel like hosting less than 7 disney properties would be a pretty big miss especially marketing-wise. And i say that as someone who thought kh3 should've focused less on disney and more on original worlds.
Christopher Robin world that is where the data to create the 100 Acre Wood world originally came from and explore the connections between unreality and the dark seeker saga. Maybe Maleficent could be a primordial being and be a good guy in unreality and fight against other Maleficent?
Honestly I’m not for MCU, as least an Avengers movie, but what I think would genuinely be a God Tier idea is making a solo movie as a world. Something like the first Thor Movie or a Spiderman Homecoming I think would genuinely be awesome.
I hope that we get a KH game in the future that features double the amount of normal worlds as it would allow more of the worlds that people want to get into the final cut of the game, I doubt it will happen but hey one can hope.
I feel at least 1 of the live action Disney's will happen for a world KH has had before and I HOPE if they do any it's Maleficent since I feel it has the most potential if they want to draw comparisons to her and the KH Maleficent. Hocus Pocus sounds like it could be a lot of fun so I'm sold on that. Muppets is another I hope for if only to give us a bit of a break if it turns out the game is going to be mostly live action and with less cartoony stuff.

coming from someone who's seen most of star wars and all of kingdom hearts, you'd be surpised at how much kingdom hearts pulls from that franchise. the fact they showed endor is interesting since that planet first shows in the third movie. which is a funny place to start. anyway sora vs darth vader would destroy the internet.

"I think you can safely sit the [Star Wars] Prequels out" Actually no. You can't dismiss the Prequels 100%, because the Prequel era of Star Wars is the most fleshed out area of the entire franchise. You have the 3 movies of course, but there is also The Clone Wars and Bad Batch, Solo movie, Obi-Wan show, Rebles, Rouge One and Andor. All of which is canon. The OG Trilogy only has it, a few episodes of Visions and Rebels for canon stuff. But a whole ton of non-canon stuff like Droids, Ewoks, and the Holiday Special. The Sequels will likely get more stuff in it's era in the future. But for now there is only Mandalorian, Boba Fett show, Resistance, and a few episodes of Visions. I list all of this because I think if KH4 were to add Star Wars, it would likely start in the OG Trilogy for nostalgia, then subsequent games would return to the world, but in different eras. Time Travel is already in KH, so it isn't that hard to explain.
Also I realize The Black Hole and Willow weren't thrown in. Not that I blame people for not remembering them but I think it's fun to imagine what a world based on them would be like.
The Haunted Mansion is VERY beloved by disney fans :) Ask any one! I would love to see that world included, and even in the movie they do have outdoor areas, forest, giant cemetery, that's really creepy! Could be awesome. The Mansion is also very large, and seems to change rooms.
I looked it up and this live-action movie is (sadly) not owned by Disney and thus is impossible, but while my brain thought it was, I fell in love with the idea, so I'm just going to throw it out there onto the internet. "Sharkboy and Lavagirl" would make an incredible KH world! You have two obvious allies to help you in combat, you have a varied and unique setting of Drool as it was literally thought up by a child, you have two villains and a double twist as to who is the real final boss, a blurred line between reality and fantasy, and even the Crystal Heart which is integral to the movie. Plus, either/both the Drool and reality counterparts of the Snow Princess would make great princesses of heart for this reason. I really wish this could have been a possibility, but even if it was, I highly doubt it would be a likely pick.
My problem with the MCU in Kingdom Hearts is simply IDK how you'd go about it. Avengers is a nice self-contained story that is beloved, but that's a LOT of likenesses you're going to need to work out and there are large swaths of the movie with no physical conflicts and no logical reason to even have Heartless fights (being stuck on the Helicarrier). Asgard is visually stunning, but the Thor movies are largely not well-received. Guardians could be a lot of fun, but again, Space Movie That Isn't Star Wars. Roping in Spider-Man brings potential concerns from Sony (I know Sony only has film rights, but what about video game rights for games using the likeness from their films?). Several critically acclaimed MCU properties have themes and narratives that just don't fit in KH (Winter Soldier, Civil War, Black Panther, etc). You could do an original story, but Marvel might not want to let Square Enix do that with MCU characters. It just feels like there isn't an obviously best way to implement the Marvel Cinematic Universe into Kingdom Hearts. I think if you opened it up to Marvel in general KH could make it work, but the shining star is the MCU, and that would probably be the first pick of everyone involved if they gotta get some Marvel stuff in there.
I would adore a Star Wars world. As long as it's not the Disney ones. I can appreciate how great the og trilogy was, but I grew up with the prequels in theaters. Even then, imagine SDG helping Obi Wan try to show Anakin the light while fighting on Mustafar in ep 3
Ive always had this idea for a star wars world, takes place during return of the jedi. I like the idea of luke and any other appearing jedi hard downplaying sora and telling him to stay back etc because he has no force abilities , world plot happens etc, fast forward to a 2v2 luke and sora vs vader and the emperor, phase 2 of fight they get sperated into emperor vs sora and luke vs vader, luke becomes incapacited and just before being struck down sora unlocks the force and uses lukes saber to protect him from the emperor, then after pulling the saber to himself he dual wields it with keyblade for an epic 1v2 showdown
I think this really does cover the majority of it, and thank you for that. But the disney channel shows could be possible. Like Gravity falls, Star Vs Evil or maybe The Owl House? All seem pretty natural in KH, but you really won't have much to say as they're disconnected and can implement stories. Maybe if the series were to continue, having a "miscellaneous" covering the popular disney shows and games (epic mickey?) And then also Square stuff like Neo TWEWY is pretty solid. But it's not really necessary. Thanks again for the hours of effort put into it!
I'm not saying I want this, but I could see there being some sort of COM/DDD treatment with the previous worlds that have since gotten a "live-action" treatment where Sora traverses the world in its reality state, and Donald, Goofy, and whoever goes through the same world in it's animated state. It could be cool, could be a drag, and could lead to some optional postgame content where if the gang reunites by the end of this story they can go through the other versions of the worlds they didn't see when playing through the main game. Anyways, always love the content, keep up the great work!

If any of the live-action remakes make it into KH4, I'm positive it'll be Alice 2010. In an interview back in 2017, Nomura cited it as one of his favorite Disney movies and expressed interest in having the White Queen appear in a future KH game. I know a lot of fans would be upset if/when it gets confirmed for KH4, but I loved Alice 2010 when I was a kid, so I'd be down with it. Also, since the Hundred Acre Wood might not come back in KH4 for thematic reasons, I'd be over the moon if the replacement minigame world was a Muppets one. Seeing Sora (and possibly the other party members) bouncing off of Kermit and company would give me LIFE.

My most favored returning worlds are the older ones I'd like to see get the Unreal Engine treatment. Imagine a place like Wonderland getting such a massive expansion, they could go nuts with that one.

As much as I would LOVE to talk about Disney shows for 10 minutes straight, I think a returning worlds video should probs be the natural end to this and dedicating a whole vid to those out of the box properties would be... I don't wanna say pointless cuz again I LOVE me some Disney animated television but pointless is the only word that comes to mind. Maybe a fill-in-the-blank survey asking people what properties should still be talked about and if there's enough overlap on certain ones make a short vid on that? Or maybe like a tweet lol. No matter what you do it's sure to be fun, just don't frustrate yourself or burn yourself out talking about stuff that is probs never gonna make it in and that you likely don't care about. Back when 358/2 Days was being made, I remember that year on April Fools, one of hte big KH sites announced High School Musical was gonna be in the game, an they did a few mockup screenshots using I believe a HSM DS game and putting Roxas and Xion in it. Me and all of my friends believed it, all of my friends freaked out about how bad it was gonna be, I just said "Oh it's the minigame world" and they calmed down. After that I actually forgot about the hoax until the PS3 movie version of Days came out, and remembered "Oh yeah, that was a joke once."
I know this sounds insane but I think there's an argument to be made that The Twilight Zone *already has* Kingdom Hearts representation. Twilight Thorn's Japanese name is Twilight Zone and the first episode of the series is about a man living in a simulated town while he's actually asleep in a pod. I don't know if there's any direct parallels to the 7 Wonders or the Mansion but the whole world does involve the supernatural

My hope is that quadratum gets the persona/TWETY treatment, where the city is “normal” but has zany things happening. I think that would allow for an avengers battle of New York, Christopher Robin, and a lot of other properties that are set in metropolises to be represented without needing separate worlds. I also am a huge supporter of Star Wars being contained to only happening during gummi travel, where each encounter gets you closer and closer to boarding the death star. It just writes itself! Also HSM in quadratum would be DOPE
That would actually fit with an idea I had wherein Palpatine and Vader fill the Maleficent role, which could be necessary if MoM wouldn't be an active antagonist this go around.

There's no precedent for Kingdom Hearts to do this ... but with how undeniably of an odd (but exciting) direction KH4 is going in, I don't see it as impossible. A Marvel world shouldn't be limited to just adapting the MCU. It shouldn't be limited by needing to be live action, or any particular immediately identifiable art style. There has been hundreds of artistic interpretations of Marvel properties throughout comics, movies, TV shows, and video games. Kingdom Hearts should go crazy and allow Nomura to create his own weird interpretation of the Marvel universe. No need for actor likeliness, just need to have some iconic heroes in costume for the trailers and you'll be able to capture that Marvel fan market. Huge potential.
I always thought it be cool if Marvel went to Disney and Square and said , “Let’s just cut to the chase here. You probably want to use Marvel but then there’s the mess of, what film, the characters, the canon, yada yada. So Square here you go, your own universe in the greater marvel multiverse to play with.”
Square Enix did create action figures of what Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Spider-man, Captain America, Thor etc would look like if Tetsuya Nomura designed them so it is possible

As someone who’s been obsessed with Star Wars ever since I was 8, I’d like to add a few things.
Firstly, you didn’t mention it, but SW is not only one of the most famous franchises of all time, but Nomura has stated in the past that he is a massive fan of it. So it checks out an even more important box than just being successful. Let’s be honest, the reason Olympus is such a recurring world isn’t because the Disney executives are pushing it, it’s because Nomura wants it.
Secondly I’d just like to mention that even if by some chance we don’t get a Star Wars world, its presence still is and has been felt in the series for a good while now, due to Nomura’s aforementioned fondness for the franchise.
Everyone has heard the famous joke about how Xehanort and Terra are literally Palpatine and Anakin, and also Mark Hammil was chosen to voice Eraqus due to his role as Luke. Eraqus who by an astounding coincidence, tried to kill his student to stop the plans of the Big Bad full seven years before the god awful Episode VIII existed. But I’d say the first really obvious SW nod was just… Everything about Xemnas. Not only he wears all black and has yellow eyes, just like the Sith, his Ethereal Blades and nothingness attacks are extremely reminiscent of the red lightsabers and Force lightning technique that they use.
But it runs even deeper than that. Many of KH’s most important and recurring themes are very similar to Star Wars. Not just the light versus darkness stuff (if anything that’s just fantasy writing 101). For instance, unchecked ambition and the consequences it brings are at the core of the villains of both series. This also leads to the ultimate moral that true happiness and fulfillment doesn’t come from physical power, but from friendship and connection. Both Xehanort and Vader chose to pursuit power and knowledge, and their ambition brought ruin to the people they cared for as well as themselves.
Destiny is also a core notion of both SW and KH, with Xehanort, Palpatine and Vader believing in the seeming inevitability of a “written” or pre-determined destiny, only to be proven wrong by Sora and Luke, both of whom fought against their supposed “destinies” to save the people important to them.
So even if Star Wars never sees the light of day in Kingdom Hearts, I still find it interesting to think about and analyze how SW impacted KH.
(Those last three paragraphs were honestly just for me. I said I’ve been obsessed with Star Wars since I was eight, and I am also obsessed with themes, so…)
SW would be a great fit, no matter if Nomura uses the original or the prequel trilogies. Just as long as KH never touches the Disney-created content, we're golden.

Star Wars is already in the KH4 trailer so we don't need to worry there. Only speculation is which trilogy, and sadly the most likely is the sequel trilogy, but the original trilogy would be dearly loved, and with how Nomura loves his classics, I have high hopes for Sora talking with Luke Skywalker and fighting Darth freaking Vader.

I think Hocus Pocus is tailor made for KH4 given the rumor of dealing with the concept of death and unreality. The Sanderson Sisters can be brought back and have to steal the Hearts of children in order to cement their existence again. A boss gauntlet of the Sisters would be amazing as well, but I do see our party member being Billy Butcherson rather than the kids or Binx. We could even say Dani is a New Seven Hearts as well given how integral she was to the plot, maybe the Sisters are gunning for her specifically because devouring one of those is better than a normal one. It’s a bit of plot rehashing but I think it writes itself!
I'm fully onboard for this! Much like Haunted Mansion, its a solid stand-in for Halloween Town as a spooky-themed world. You've got a visually striking environment with the town of Salem decorated for Halloween and the Sanderson's cottage and cemetery being the central landmarks.
Right? And if we really want to tie it into KH lore we can give them knowledge of Kingdom Hearts and change their goal to achieve “untold wisdom” which has an added perk of youth, rather than that being their main goal. Also, I bet 100% their actresses would be down to do the voices!
I would love a _Hocus Pocus_ world, however when it comes to Disney worlds that appear in the _Kingdom Hearts_ games they are usually chosen based on the following:
1. Which Disney films Nomura and the team want as worlds for the specific KH game.
2. The themes that the specific returning and new Disney worlds based on that Disney or Pixar film have in common to the theme of the specific KH game (e.g. Friendship, Trust, Connections, Promises, etc.) - Which is debatable.
3. The Story the Disney world can offer for Sora's development and in the game's story.
4. The gameplay value and the environment that the world can offer.
5. Level Variety.
6. Disney and/or the fans giving Requests and suggestions to which films they want to see added in the game to Nomura and the team (e.g. Big Hero 6 in KH3, Hunchback in DDD).
Not to mention Nomura also chooses worlds based on a Thematic and Aesthetic standpoint, so literally it's up to Nomura if he want to have Hocus Pocus or choose a different world and save Hocus Pocus for another KH game.

Personally, I think a video on the disney animated TV shows might be worthwhile. There are a lot of fun properties to draw from, like Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Gummi Bears, Owl House, Gravity Falls, Star Vs. (despite its issues), Amphibia, Phineas and Ferb, etc.
I’d dig a Kim Possible world. Not sure how that would play out entirely, but I’d like Kim and Ron as party members.
I also think the TV show would also be the most likely scenario for us to get a proper Lilo & Stitch world set on Kaua'i. The movie is a bit too relationship-centric to work as a KH world imo.
I think the problem is likelihood most Disney channel shows aren't that well known in the general public so most of them as much as it hurts to say will probably never get Kingdom Hearts Worlds trust me I love Gravity Falls I love Owl House I love amphibia I die to see them get Worlds in Kingdom Hearts it just ain't happening Phineas and Ferb and duck Tales of the only two that actually had a shot an even then Slim

Sadly Gravity Falls is pretty unlikely since Alex Hirsch has huge sway over that franchise and he hates Kingdom Hearts.
I think the easiest, best way to implement MCU would be to make a "New York City" world where Sora Donald and Goofy simply team up with the original Avengers because the city is under attack of the Heartless, with one of the big baddies of KH4 leading the invasion for some reason. Basically Avengers 2012 but with the Heartless instead of the Loki army.
I mean, even if they didnt want to use a KH bad guy, Loki commanding an army of Heartless makes sense, so just replace the Chitauri.

imagine if they did battleworld similar to kh1 and 2 olympus as a tournament where you could fight any random hero or villain potentially from any universe to tie in with the unreality thing we could have a 3vs1 with all the live action spider men you could have to fight the comic big hero six to contrast them with the ones from kh3 etc etc and if people don't know who they are maybe the announcer could explain who they are before the match or an optional sign could say it outside the arena it could be great

If Highschool Musical is referenced in Kingdom Hearts it better be massive. Not just an Atlantica-styled mini game music world. But somehow integrated into every world, the combat system, and the overarching plot.

Genuinely my favorite series of yours. As a kid I used to imagine all sorts of potential ideas for using more obscure or out-there properties for KH and this is scratching that exact itch. I would definitely love both a returning worlds and an other/TV/etc. video, I know KH has flirted with the idea before (they were gonna use Gargoyles for that one canceled mobile game)
I think a Maleficent world could be really interesting. Having Sora initially view her as an enemy and come to realize what the new version of her went though and her motivation might give Sora a chance to view things a little less black and white.
Not to mention it screws with his memories again given the events of Kingdom Hearts 1. Only problem is that such a situation might be too similar to the confrontation with 20's Pete in Timeless River.
Also, it might be interesting having OG Maleficent there. With both her and Sora thinking that she'll remain a villain, with Maleficent being the more outward about it, and Sora saying that he doesn't believe she has to be the villain, but subconsciously treating and reacting to her in that way.

As much as I would love an _Enchanted_ world, due to the "fish-out-of-water" story and the Live-Action aesthetic that could tie to the Unreality/Quadratum, I don't know how the story for _Enchanted_ would fit in with _Kingdom Hearts_ and what conflict would the world have. Because the only conflicts that happened throughout the film is mostly on whether Giselle wants to live in New York or Andalasia, Prince Edward trying to bring Giselle back home and Nathaniel attempting to kill Giselle at orders of Queen Narissa. Speaking of Narissa, I think another thing that could hinder Enchanted from becoming a world is that Narissa doesn't come in to become a huge threat until the climax of the movie to deal with Giselle after Nathaniel had failed to kill her, plus New York has been utilized *A LOT* as a setting in most of the movies from Disney especially the Live-Action films (e.g. Newsies, Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Avengers, etc.).
There's also the Enchanted sequel that just got announced thatll probably add more material/complications for if they tried to put that world in KH.

If you had to include 1 live action remake or adjacent film, it should be Alice in Wonderland. Since it was one of the first worlds Sora went to in KH1, it'd be a good juxtaposition for his journey in KH4. It's much darker, it could show the audience how unreality is entirely separate, Sora's alone, etc.

I would also love to see you explore some other DCOM classics like Halloweentown, Camp Rock, Twitches, etc. While they’d be unlikely I just want to see how much the fans would like them/how they could work in KH4!
KH4 should have its first multi-movie world with Peter Pan, Pooh Bear, Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians, and Great Mouse Detective. Just all running their stories all at the same exact time in London.
Here are the my thoughts on what worlds from this list I would like to see in KH4:
1. Cinderella: I think it would be fun. I always wished Sora had visited the Castle of Dreams. I also think that after being plunged into Darkness, the Castle of Dreams could be “reborn” in “live action” in Quadratum.
2. Christopher Robin: Yeah, I think Sora filling in for Christopher Robin and visiting the same Pooh in a different font (Quadratum/“Unreality”) would be really fun. The book can exist outside of “Reality” or there can be multiple 100 Acre Wood books.
3. Maleficent: I see this as a delve into Maleficent’s origins. That, or a look at the hero she could’ve been. Regardless, I would love to see a battle of Maleficents.
4. MCU: Thor: Love and Thunder: While I know “Thor: Love and Thunder” is a relatively new movie and not a very well received one, the “Eternity” world in “Thor: Love and Thunder” looks a whole lot like “The Final World” in Kingdom Hearts. I would love for there to be a connection between the two and I think that Gorr could work really well with the Heartless as he has succumbed to Darkness himself.
5. Enchanted: This one’s a fun one. I can see Sora and Giselle being friends. And I can see a team up between Maleficent and Queen Narissa.
6. Avatar: I’m gonna be honest. I’ve never seen Avatar and thus have never understood the hype. But this one would be another fun one. Sci-fi mixing with Magic. We could see a blue-cat-Sora. These fantasy creatures could fight off Heartless. It would be really fun!
7. Star Wars (Original Trilogy): I think as long as we have a lightsaber fight between Sora (who is taking Luke Skywalker’s place) and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, who is another who’s heart has succumbed to Darkness, and a whole lot of Heartless, I think that would be enough. Maybe have Ventus, Aqua, and Terra blow up the Death Star. I dunno.
8. Once Upon A Time: This one wasn’t on the list, but I’d like to include it! “Once Upon A Time” is just The Brothers Grimm’s Kingdom Hearts. I would love to see an interaction between Sora and “The Dark One”/Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold. I think he would really mess with Sora’s head and give a ton of character development to Sora. Others I would like to see interact with Sora are Emma, Henry, and Hook. Sora likes pirates so seeing an alternate version of Captain Hook who more closely resembles a domesticated Jack Sparrow would be interesting. I think Sora and Henry would have a lot in common. And I think that both Emma and Sora could benefit from meeting each other. I also think it would be cool to see Rumplestiltskin either fight, control, or study Heartless as well as giving valuable information on The Keyblade. In addition, Maleficent vs Regina Mills would be fun.

As someone who adores the Disney classics, I would love for stuff like Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks to be included, but honestly, you've sold me on absolute nonsense worlds like Holes, High School Musical and National Treasure, especially the motion flow around the Liberty Bell :')
I think star wars is practically guaranteed most likely because it just makes sense imo. I have a feeling Disney will be pushing a lot for marvel but I personally would much prefer the incredibles over a marvel world. I like marvel movies but the incredibles is something I've been hoping for for a while in the series.

Jungle Book not having its animated counterpart already represented in the series could create an interesting scenario where both Jungle Book (Animated) and Jungle Book (Live Action) are worlds simultaneously, helping to directly contrast how the Light and Unreality versions of worlds differ from one another. This would be particularly helpful for anyone new to the series, who might not be familiar with the KH versions of worlds in previous games and thus have no baseline to compare the new live action iterations to.
I am so ungodly late on this video, but I feel like if they don’t do a Mary Poppins world, I feel like Mary Poppins herself could be a really solid candidate for a Summon! They could have her and Sora do some wacky shit, and considering her pretty iconic status in Disney’s Live-Action lineup, I wouldn’t be shocked to see her at all.
If we're talking about themes and aesthetic, Hocus Pocus fits in very nicely. If KH IV focuses on themes like death and rebirth, well, Hocus Pocus revolves around a dark version of that with the Sanderson Sisters being brought back to life.
Also, I just really want a chance to hit Winifred Sanderson with a giant key. It sounds like a good time to me.
The chronicles of Narnia would be amazing world to visit as Sora and help the sons of Adam & daughters of Eve kill the white which in pt1 and when we go back catch up to prince caspian or the last battle. Another world would be Avatar for sure because those two are movies that deal with not only nostalgia but they’re worlds are KH4 #Worthy

"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" had a sequel called "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid" (and no, it doesn't involve exploding children), this means that world can include both shrinking and growth if Ant-man isn't available.
I think one thing we haven't considered (or I haven't seen much talk about) is the possibility that KH4 won't have traditional worlds separate from each other, but moreso one hub world with a few main areas that many different IPs could crossover into, and maybe lead to smaller areas connected to IPs that are more fantastical like Toontown or Enchanted's fairytale kingdom. New York, London, the Amazon, and Quadratum/not-Tokyo alone could contain the vast amount of these live-action films, and having outer space travel could easily toss in Star Wars, John Carter, Avatar, Treasure Planet and more into one connected galaxy! The individual ″non-hub″ worlds would be smaller, yes (I'm thinking KH1 or DDD), but the idea of traveling around not-Earth and fake-Space, seeing where all these live-action events happen in relation to each other, and basically playing KH mixed with GTA or the Spider-Man/Arkham games sounds really cool!
Hehehe, i feel like you and I has the same thought process about some of these, especially with the Maleficent Movies, if there will ever be a concept of Alternate Realities, Alternate Worlds, that are basically different versions of Worlds already visited, i think a World based on those two Movies would be a good entry point for a concept like that and the thought of having the (from what I understand) more Redeemable Modern Maleficent meeting, interacting and maybe even facing the more Pure-Evil Classic Maleficent is very fascinating.
Anyway, yes, i would very much like to see more Parts of this, they have been very interesting and I feel like they add to the anticipation for Kingdom Hearts 4.

Congrats on getting this one done, man! It was a filled with a lot of blander properties and while there’s certainly potential for a number of these, it’s generally not as exciting as the animated stuff. But yeah! Good work! 👏
Personally, I’d love to see a ranking for TV show properties, even though KH hasn’t really dipped it’s toes in that pool yet, I think there’s so many cool possibilities here. Not just for the characters and worlds themselves, but cool art direction and in-style transformations for SDG. I’d also just generally be interested in seeing how popular this idea is amongst the general KH fanbase or if it’s mostly just fellow animators like myself who find this idea appealing.
Either way, if the returning worlds one ends up being the last poll, I totally get it. This has been a fun look at the possibilities!

Christopher Robin could work in having it be the reverse to how sora normally visits Pooh and friends, Pooh and company begin getting worried about how sora hasn’t visited in awhile so they leave the book and with quadratum having the realistic looks that can easily explain away why they’re not cartoony.
Edit: I have no idea how they’ll leave the book that’s not my problem to figure out but yeah
I also want to say, if Unreality goes all in on the concept of live action remakes being alternate realities of worlds Sora has already been to, a Christopher Robin world could be really interesting for some lore explaining. Sora meets the Unreality Pooh, who, of course, has no clue who Sora is, but their friendship grows as you visit Pooh's world. By the end, Pooh says something like "Boy, it feels lile I've known you my whole life," and we get this little peek into the idea that the heart of these Unreality characters are, more or less, the same as the versions we already know.
Kind of pulling a Castle Oblivion in that sense.
You mentioning Inspector gadgets penny as a princess Of heart is actually very fitting, as Michelle Trachtenberg’s other Disney movie is ice Princess! :-) Which I actually thought of years ago how it could work as a kingdom hearts world/Minigame
I would love to see a part four to this! I feel like this series is really helping to fill the gap without KH4 news, and its fun because we don't know much about this game so the potential is endless. I would say make a miscellaneous part 4. Some TV Shows (Definitely Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls), some Fox, any other left overs.
Those worlds actually sound fantastic. Phineas and Ferb? Gravity Falls? Star vs. The Force of Evil? Wonder over Yonder? Owl House? Hell yeah

Theory: KH4 will have several "hubs" that each contain a massive crossover between multiple similar IPs.
"Space" could have Star Wars, Treasure Planet, and maybe some cameos along the lines of Lilo and Stitch or Lightyear.
"The Sea" could hit Moana, Pirates, Luca, and possibly Nemo.
"The Jungle" for Jungle Book, etc...
Its just a thought, but something that might work, assuming property rights and such are settled. Party members would probably also need to be handed out situationally instead of being able to just swap between any and all of them, and come to think of it there would be a LOT of chraracters to design, but hey, it could be a possibility, as big as games are these days.
The talk of Christopher Robin got me thinking about the prospect of the plotline being important to Sora in Quadratum. Without having seen the movie but knowing from trailers that the 100 Acre Wood characters visit CR and remind him of what it's like to be a kid (Or something like that) I could see them, or at least Pooh showing up in their updated looks in Quadratum and helping Sora find his way out and back to the real world. Then afterwards he could visit the book for the usual mini game fun. Might be a good way to follow up on the weakened connection touched on in KH3 and giving the WtP characters more involvement after their less than favourable envolvement in KH3. Would be a very different use of the characters than has been typically in the series but it could be cute.
On the note of the different imaginings of the established characters, _Once Upon a Time_ might actually be a rather interesting addition. I don't think they'd ever actually do it, but the premise of the characters all needing to escape to a different world to avoid the destruction of their own rings very KH1, with Storybrooke acting as a stand-in for Traverse Town. Years ago when I watched it, it very much felt to me just like a watered-down version of Kingdom Hearts. In terms of combat there's, uh... Rumpelstiltskin? Sure, yeah, let's go with that.

Yeah a part 4 is a good idea. Some worlds have more potential than others and with kh4 trailer and dark road in mind, a world like Olympus has reason to return
It wasn’t on your list, but I want to toss in Mary Poppins Returns. I have no doubt they’d want to do the original first, but there are a few reasons I think it would work better and has potential as a full world:
As discussed with other movies, there are themes of grieving loved ones who’ve passed on as a grown Michael Banks’s wife, the new Banks children’s’ mum, passed before the film takes place (and maybe finally we can bring up Sora’s mom?!? 🤣)
It has a lot of beautiful and diverse visual styles, from CGI to 2D, each blended w/ the live action, which I think would make for a visually stunning world. You could explore a little of 1930s London w/ the lamplighters, I think it’d be visually distinct enough from Quadratum to work. Sora climbing Big Ben might bring up some memories of flying with Peter Pan tho lol.
I visualize it as being like a more expansive Timeless River type world where you can visit the various locales as “sub-worlds” to explore, with the children’s room acting as a hub where you could interact with different objects representing each one to access them (ex: the bathtub for the undersea world w/ giant toys, the Royal Doulton Bowl to visit the music hall, a balloon takes you up to the “lovely London sky”, etc.)
The movie’s plot hinges around the Banks family scrambling to find proof of the shares in the bank left to them by Mr. Banks from the original film so they can pay their loans before 17 Cherry Tree Lane is repossessed. Spoiler alert: Michael, who wanted to be an artist but gave up on the dream because it didn’t make money to work as a bank teller at the bank he owns shares in, had unknowingly drawn a picture of his family on the back of the certificate, which through undoubtedly Mary’s invisible touch ends up being cut up by the youngest child and used to mend a kite. I could see these pieces being scattered and Sora having to jump around each of the sub-worlds to find them. As for why pretty anime boy is trusted and invited into the home of a 1930’s British family? Mary summoned him to help 🤷 that feels in character, and I love the implications lol. I’d love to see Emily Blunt’s slightly more scrutinizing Mary correct Sora’s posture and manners but saying “he’ll have to do” before sending him on his mission.

i want a starwars world in kh4 to be kinda like kh1 monstro in how you get there initially where you're travelling and get tractor beamed into the death star, while Sora tries to figure out where he is you meet up with some star wars characters, heck maybe Sora gets Terra'd and joins the empire for a little bit which leads to him down on endor until he meets the resistance and switches sides
I think you can make some interesting thematic arguments for the recent disney channel animated shows like amphibia and the owl house, of course that's a lot stuff to binge
I just assume Avatar will be included. Disney has done everything possible to keep that series alive against all logic and public opinion.
They even removed Avatar from Disney+ just so they could put it in theaters again.
I’m personally banking on 1964’s For The Love Of Willadean from Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Colour being a major world in KH4 in which Sora explores a haunted house and gets shot at by an old man for touching his prize watermelon
I didn't even consider return to oz!!!! I would love that so much if it were a thing. It likely won't but I can have dreams until Nomura crushes them.
Speaking for my own wishes, I personally voted for the Haunted Mansion to be there only because of the potential for the ride itself. Forget the movie, I was thinking of Constance Hatchaway the entire time. And that was my mentality for a lot of these properties too, because there's a lot of potential for original ideas regarding these.
The funny thing about the Haunted Mansion is that every Christmas, the ride gets a Nightmare Before Christmas makeover
Too bad Disney didn't buy up Adam Sandler by now. I'd love to see a Click world where Sora, Donald, and Goofy all get ill, chug tussin, gobble sugary treats, fall asleep in a mattress store, and have a shared life changing psychedelic fever dream. Plus the remote's mechanics would be a lot of fun, and Nomura could exploit it to do wacky and unexpected things with the lore.
Y'know, it's weird, outta all of these, the one I wanna see most IS Mary Poppins. Hope kinda dwindles for a full blown world though, but I wanna see it return, mostly because it lives in my head rent free as one of my faves, I wanna fly from anywhere with a keyblade that can turn into an umbrella and I wanna see how Sora pronounces Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious lmfao
For many years I've always had an idea for how they could incorporate the MCU or just Marvel as a whole into Kingdom Hearts and that is to have it fill the roll of the 100 Acre Wood from KH1 and 2. I'm not talking about the minigame aspect of 100 Acre, I'm talking about how you access the world: the Torn Pages. To me it, makes way too much sense that if one of the two biggest names in all of comics is going to be in KH that the way access the world is by finding torn comic pages, or even full comic books, in other worlds like you had to do previously.
I see two ways of them doing the world itself this way. The first being that each page you find leads to a self contained comic book like story. Each one would be its own things where Sora teams up with that issues hero to take on that issues villain, like teaming up with Spider-Man to fight Doc Ock in a one-shot adventure. But I'm assuming that if Marvel is going to be in KH at all then it'll be through the lens of the MCU which is where idea two comes in. If they stick with the 5 page setup from prior games then 4 of the 5 pages could be reserved for abridged versions of the individual movies of the big 4 of the Avengers: Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. Then you have the 5th page drop you right in the middle of the Battle of New York from Avengers. That might seem like a pretty large scale and probably unrealistic plan but hey weirder things have happened to this series.
To top it off I thought a neat kind of "icing on the cake" idea would be how you actually enter the world. All the comics you find are housed in a comic book store in Quadratam that's run by non other than the late great Stan Lee and when you complete the world you get a keyblade called "Excelsior" or "True Believer." But if they didn't want to or couldn't use Stan Lee's likeness I guess another Disney character could run the store though I'm not sure who. Frankly my backup character would be Deadpool for no real reason other than Deadpool could almost fit in anywhere and we all would just kind of accept it.
I did not mean to make this an entire essay nor did I realize how much thought I've actually put into this. Realistically it would probably be an MCU world accessed like all the others but I thought this would be a neat way to give some uniqueness to a franchise that may otherwise struggle with finding an identity in a game where it seems like a big cityscape is already going to be your home base for this adventure.

I mean…Star Wars in KH is pretty much an inevitability, between Xemnas’s definitely-not-lightsabers, Mickey’s fighting style being very reminiscent of Prequel Yoda, and even the assault on the second Death Star all being in KH2, along with the themes of light and dark, Master Eraqus being voiced by Mark Hamill, and Terra’s story being very reminiscent of Anakin, Nomura has gotta have wanted Star Wars since the moment Disney got ahold of it
I like the idea of having a mix of both prequel and OT trilogies. It's heavily reliant on the fact of "world returning" making a return though if not just spreading the story out to three games.
Basically the first visit would be episode 3. I want it to start on episode 3 is because I love the idea of Sora making a friend who falls to darkness/the dark side, and actually stays there. I really can't think of an issue where he has dealt with a friend/ally and they turned evil and stayed evil so I think that could be something interesting for him to deal with. Anakin's downfall could obviously be a parallel to Riku and what he could've been if he embraced and went full darkness. I kinda have a general outline of how the events of episode 3 would go but I'm mainly going by themes here.
Anyway, episode 3 would play out, you end with Sora distraught at the fact that one of his friends/allies fell to darkness and he couldn't save him. Debating on whether i want Sora to know Anakin goes by Darth Vader. I think there's both positives and negatives for both sides.
Next time we come back, it would be episode 5. I really don't think there's much in episode 4 to be had and just starting the OT here would be better. The only real thing would be meeting with Obi Wan again but he appears as a force ghost so there's really no point in my opinion.
Here is where the debate of Sora having the knowledge of Anakin being Vader creeps in. On one hand, sora knowing kinda brings a conflict where he might think it's better to tell Luke but Obi Wan and maybe even Yoda are like "nah", so they're telling him to lie to Luke. I don't think Sora has ever lied to his friends before so it could be interesting. But on the other hand, Sora not knowing Anakin is Vader could be interesting to see him reminisce about Anakin, much like Obi Wan did, only to have the harsh reality be is that Anakin survived and is now Vader. And he has to come to terms with the fact that not only did he presume Anakin dead (although they won't say the word), he has been around for this long and actively partook in the many atrocities he committed. At the end of episode 3, sora could've still had a bit of hope that Anakin could still come back, much like Padme. This revelation however, could flip his perspective and have him think "there's no hope for him. He's actually gone"
This would impact his view going into episode 6. If he knows Anakin was Vader the whole time, it would mainly be a sorrowful fight for Sora. A fight between a father, a son, and a friend. But if he didn't know, he could be more bitter. Resentment for having once called Anakin a friend when Anakin has lived the past 30 years as the right hand man to a dictator. It's only when he sees Vader throw Palpatine down the shaft and saving him and Luke from death by electrocution that he sees the Anakin he once knew again, although a tiny speck of it.
While I know this exact rough outline is probably not gonna happen, it's one of the few conceptual worlds I'd love to see purely for thematic purposes. Yes it'd be cool to have a 2v1 with Vader on cloud city or death star 2. Or even the duel on Mustafar, but I want to see Sora come to terms with the fact that someone he called an ally/friend is now someone he has to call an enemy and there's no bringing them back to the light. At least not for a long while but that's way after the fact Vader has committed many atrocities in the name of the Empire
But that's just my ideal take on incorporating star wars into Kingdom Hearts
There's another thing to consider also, in that they're more likely going to focus on fewer worlds, but much larger and longer in scope than previous KH games. So I doubt Haunted Mansion would get in because it would be a pretty limited area space.
Even fewer than KH3? I feel like hosting less than 7 disney properties would be a pretty big miss especially marketing-wise. And i say that as someone who thought kh3 should've focused less on disney and more on original worlds.

Honestly I’m not for MCU, as least an Avengers movie, but what I think would genuinely be a God Tier idea is making a solo movie as a world. Something like the first Thor Movie or a Spiderman Homecoming I think would genuinely be awesome.

I hope that we get a KH game in the future that features double the amount of normal worlds as it would allow more of the worlds that people want to get into the final cut of the game, I doubt it will happen but hey one can hope.
I feel at least 1 of the live action Disney's will happen for a world KH has had before and I HOPE if they do any it's Maleficent since I feel it has the most potential if they want to draw comparisons to her and the KH Maleficent.
Hocus Pocus sounds like it could be a lot of fun so I'm sold on that.
Muppets is another I hope for if only to give us a bit of a break if it turns out the game is going to be mostly live action and with less cartoony stuff.

coming from someone who's seen most of star wars and all of kingdom hearts, you'd be surpised at how much kingdom hearts pulls from that franchise. the fact they showed endor is interesting since that planet first shows in the third movie. which is a funny place to start. anyway sora vs darth vader would destroy the internet.
A Tomorrowland version of Disney Town would be a fun way to show time progression and give a nod to the park

Actually no. You can't dismiss the Prequels 100%, because the Prequel era of Star Wars is the most fleshed out area of the entire franchise. You have the 3 movies of course, but there is also The Clone Wars and Bad Batch, Solo movie, Obi-Wan show, Rebles, Rouge One and Andor. All of which is canon.
The OG Trilogy only has it, a few episodes of Visions and Rebels for canon stuff. But a whole ton of non-canon stuff like Droids, Ewoks, and the Holiday Special.
The Sequels will likely get more stuff in it's era in the future. But for now there is only Mandalorian, Boba Fett show, Resistance, and a few episodes of Visions.
I list all of this because I think if KH4 were to add Star Wars, it would likely start in the OG Trilogy for nostalgia, then subsequent games would return to the world, but in different eras. Time Travel is already in KH, so it isn't that hard to explain.

I never saw Jungle Cruise, but the idea of The Rock as a party member already has me sold.
I looked it up and this live-action movie is (sadly) not owned by Disney and thus is impossible, but while my brain thought it was, I fell in love with the idea, so I'm just going to throw it out there onto the internet. "Sharkboy and Lavagirl" would make an incredible KH world! You have two obvious allies to help you in combat, you have a varied and unique setting of Drool as it was literally thought up by a child, you have two villains and a double twist as to who is the real final boss, a blurred line between reality and fantasy, and even the Crystal Heart which is integral to the movie. Plus, either/both the Drool and reality counterparts of the Snow Princess would make great princesses of heart for this reason. I really wish this could have been a possibility, but even if it was, I highly doubt it would be a likely pick.
My problem with the MCU in Kingdom Hearts is simply IDK how you'd go about it. Avengers is a nice self-contained story that is beloved, but that's a LOT of likenesses you're going to need to work out and there are large swaths of the movie with no physical conflicts and no logical reason to even have Heartless fights (being stuck on the Helicarrier). Asgard is visually stunning, but the Thor movies are largely not well-received. Guardians could be a lot of fun, but again, Space Movie That Isn't Star Wars. Roping in Spider-Man brings potential concerns from Sony (I know Sony only has film rights, but what about video game rights for games using the likeness from their films?). Several critically acclaimed MCU properties have themes and narratives that just don't fit in KH (Winter Soldier, Civil War, Black Panther, etc). You could do an original story, but Marvel might not want to let Square Enix do that with MCU characters. It just feels like there isn't an obviously best way to implement the Marvel Cinematic Universe into Kingdom Hearts.
I think if you opened it up to Marvel in general KH could make it work, but the shining star is the MCU, and that would probably be the first pick of everyone involved if they gotta get some Marvel stuff in there.
No MCU outing But having Dr. Strange be the Merlin or Yen Sid magical teacher for sora would be fitting
I would adore a Star Wars world. As long as it's not the Disney ones. I can appreciate how great the og trilogy was, but I grew up with the prequels in theaters. Even then, imagine SDG helping Obi Wan try to show Anakin the light while fighting on Mustafar in ep 3
Ive always had this idea for a star wars world, takes place during return of the jedi. I like the idea of luke and any other appearing jedi hard downplaying sora and telling him to stay back etc because he has no force abilities , world plot happens etc, fast forward to a 2v2 luke and sora vs vader and the emperor, phase 2 of fight they get sperated into emperor vs sora and luke vs vader, luke becomes incapacited and just before being struck down sora unlocks the force and uses lukes saber to protect him from the emperor, then after pulling the saber to himself he dual wields it with keyblade for an epic 1v2 showdown

I think this really does cover the majority of it, and thank you for that. But the disney channel shows could be possible. Like Gravity falls, Star Vs Evil or maybe The Owl House? All seem pretty natural in KH, but you really won't have much to say as they're disconnected and can implement stories.
Maybe if the series were to continue, having a "miscellaneous" covering the popular disney shows and games (epic mickey?) And then also Square stuff like Neo TWEWY is pretty solid. But it's not really necessary. Thanks again for the hours of effort put into it!
I'm not saying I want this, but I could see there being some sort of COM/DDD treatment with the previous worlds that have since gotten a "live-action" treatment where Sora traverses the world in its reality state, and Donald, Goofy, and whoever goes through the same world in it's animated state. It could be cool, could be a drag, and could lead to some optional postgame content where if the gang reunites by the end of this story they can go through the other versions of the worlds they didn't see when playing through the main game.

If any of the live-action remakes make it into KH4, I'm positive it'll be Alice 2010. In an interview back in 2017, Nomura cited it as one of his favorite Disney movies and expressed interest in having the White Queen appear in a future KH game. I know a lot of fans would be upset if/when it gets confirmed for KH4, but I loved Alice 2010 when I was a kid, so I'd be down with it.
Also, since the Hundred Acre Wood might not come back in KH4 for thematic reasons, I'd be over the moon if the replacement minigame world was a Muppets one. Seeing Sora (and possibly the other party members) bouncing off of Kermit and company would give me LIFE.
