    I found something maybe useful about boundary brush, you can use "hide mesh"( usually hide face set or masked area) to create open edge temporary, the boundary brush can work with it too.

    I am in absolut love with your tutorials and the information you share with us!! So, so much. And.. seeing this, and Ciri, a rather random question came to mind: could you show us how to make shaders that are stylized. For example, with shine like the hair in 'Overwatch'? But in eevee? Is that even possible? ._.

    Nice, I had pretty much given up on the cloth brush for doing cloth because it never did what I wanted.. I doubt I would have ever realised the pose brush can do cloth besides accidentally stumbling onto it!

    Does these clothes abide by physics if the model moves?
    If not how could you get your cloth creation to do that? Or react to elements(lets say wind).
    That would be an interesting tutorial.

    I wish the boundary sculpt brush and the other one would allow to use collision like the regular Cloth Filter brush does, or is that possible by now and I simply did not find the setting?

    What i like is that you really wont to give us a hand while working i see that. i would love to se more video for clothing because i have had some problems recently about don't knowing where to start when you have a nacked character not low poly but also not to hight, about 5k faces =D.

    • @Noggi_3D
      @Noggi_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For low poly characters I would probably reuse the geometry of the body for clothing. This way it's already fitted to the character and you can add more details if you want. :)

    I did not know about that other cloth brush! Neat!! And is there a way to run the physics simulation on my GPU instead of my CPU? Because my GPU is just barely good enough for my work, but my CPU is a potato.

    • @Noggi_3D

    I always use those brushes. Cloth physics is interesting, but it's a total pain in the ass to model with. And, it isn't easy on the CPU for something that might not even look right after the first trial.

    • @Noggi_3D
      @Noggi_3D  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally I try to avoid simulations in Blender as much as possible. The trial and error workflow is so annoying to me.

    • @micmacha
      @micmacha ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Noggi_3D The simple reality of it is that you're handing over your model to what is, in effect, a noise generator. It's great that it has physics, I suppose; but you don't need it to model, or to animate. People forget that.

    Never used Blender. Good to know its functions, thanks! However, it doesn’t feel that natural. Why not making garments in Marvelous Designer instead? This type of work seems complicated compared to MD. It’s not that difficult to create some realistic and good looking garments. Especially if you want something basic that you prefer sculpting on.

    • @Noggi_3D
