I personally don't care for channels that get or are too big. They lose touch with real middle working class people and their fan interaction. Just my opinion..

I regularly go to my local engineering shop for hardware (nuts and bolts etc.) and always feel guilty when I put a big bag-full on the counter. They have to look up every nut, bolt, washer etc. and unless I needed stainless that day, it would come to maybe five dollars. Heck, it just took them ten minutes to price it up, and the cost didn't even cover the salesman's hourly rate! Note I am not so embarrassed that I thereafter go to my local DIY stores for my nuts and bolts and pay ten times as much for them.
I am always afraid to go in there. You go in for something to finish a project, and end up with stuff for three new projects.

Never seen Matt in a sweatshirt. Even in the videos where it's snowing out and the weather report is -5 he always has that same work shirt with he florescent yellow stripes on.

Joana always gets popcorn in the vids from now on. If i were a cameraman for MORR I'd have popcorn all the time too.
They need a small popcorn machine in the shop so it’s always available. We have two hardware stores in town that has free fresh hot popcorn to eat while shopping. We even have a bank that has popcorn.

I kept twisting off steering box mounts. After limping off cliffhanger with my steering box ratchet strapped to my frame. I custom built a steering box mount, and tack welded the bolts. Never had that issue again.
Yep bolt back out is main cause of it.

I'm sure quite a few people who watch these videos do so not because they are interested in offroad recovery per se, but to see classiness in action. Matt and everyone exude classiness, and it's so nice to see.

I would buy a ticket to hang out with the MORR team on a recovery. Seriously. You guys have a more entertaining, enjoyable, and wholesome experience on recoveries, and certainly more worth the money than Disneyland.

I have been watching matt's off-Road Recovery for a good minute or two and from what i can tell Matt does not seem to charge for these recoveries. If that's the case, then he is one hell of a guy. always giving and the most kind and considerate Human I have ever had the PLEASURE to watch on the YT. And probably the most amazing person to have as an Employer as you really look out for everyone around you and have the most positive attitude. Matt you are truly a good role model, Mentor and give us all inspiration to do better.
Do a search of his name you will read about his bad deeds and dealing with law,court,and insurance companies

A former friend, overcome by jealously and envy of the growth of Matt's channel, threw Matt under the bus. The fact of Matt's giving to the community resulted in a relative slap on the wrist and continued channel growth. We can all see what a genuine guy Matt is.
Meanwhile, the former friend has been stuck at around 55k subs for years. Long time viewers know who I'm talking about.

So triple A is mad for being a D-tier recovery service (used them [unfortunately] quite a few times). You're acting like he's stealing money from the poor. Matt just towed a vehicle that wasn't covered or claimed under triple A, but instead said he was towing his buddy's car as a 'cover' on the claim. Also to note the owner of the vehicle didnt even have Triple A, he used his buddy's acc/card. I highly doubt the friend is on his policy, nor do I recall him being present.

When you were talking about the Banana not being able to tow a certain object, using the Bombi as an example. You had the bombi between the axels and hitch. If you put the majority of the weight over the center of the axels, you reduce the Tongue Weight. Hope this makes sence because I Love to watch your Video's. You Guys are Great.

Tom, I feel I must correct you on the bolt percentage ratio. Surely 2 out of 4 would be 50%, so 2 out of 3 must be 66.66% recurring, meaning your percentage increase is actually 16.66% better, not 11% as you stated. What I would say as a caveat to this is that by my reckoning every video that comes out from MOR is actually 11% better than the previous one keep up the great work guys and gals.

Ok, so 2 of 4 bolts is 50% coverage. 2 of 3 bolts is 67% coverage. That's 17% better...not 11%!? Unless I'm not thinking this through, which I've had plenty of time to do, vs. you on the spot.

Kaitlynn, just a tip when you’re assisting someone… anticipate what’s next. In example, when Tom was wrapping up the repair you could have been picking up the bolts, tools & trash. People really appreciate that when you’re assisting them.

Especially if Demri from Robby Layton Nation, and Holly, from Bleepin Jeep, joined them. And at the end of the Games, they would Drink the Tears of the of their male competition. 😁 Wish I could be there to see them take the trophy 🏆 😅😂😊

As a jeeper I'm not surprised how many crashed utvs you see. They drive like the subaru crowd ...too fast when they should be going slow, and too slow when they should be going faster
As a jeep and SXS owner, I'm not surprised at the Jeep recoveries, either. Using grade 5 hardware store bolts and no tools on the trail. They're like the F150 owners of the off road world

You's need to make a pipe that hooks up to the Wrecker and to the vehicle it's recovering so it doesn't hit the wrecker. This way you don't need anyone to ride in the broken vehicle all the time. Use pins like a ball hitch so you can hook it up when ever you need it
I don't think they use one of them because it would hinder the articulation of going over obstacles. But I could be wrong lol

mine sheered off and fell out last year you'd be amazed in what ratchet straps can do with bailing wire threw holes as much as we could wrap before strap
I've built a few off road rigs and I consider myself mechanically inclined. I went to the Honda and Yamaha dealers to look at these new SXS vehicles and honestly they are built like a Yugo. Everything is way too weak, the half shaft axles, the suspension and the steering. And the prices are absolutely ridiculous.
Depends on what they are being used for. They weren't designed for extreme off reading. I do agree the prices are insane
@@Berm_Blaster you are right. They make a great farm utility vehicle. But they aren't made to take to Glamis and start jumping step downs . I totally agree that the prices are far out of proportion. This whole SCS rave is just another scam a hustle. Replacement parts and upgrades have become a billion dollar industry, and just to make the vehicle do what the manufacturer claims they will do in the first place.
When Kaitlyn said Matt could have gone further… 😂 I knew then, either that thing is going further, or something was going to break trying! Tom is a good sport.
