As they say the older you get the less bold you get parents and rules stops us for be bold and because of that we became scared adults while as kids we can easily promise marriages to each while either forgetting or a times has changed about doing that society it’s it own weight clothing

If they don't announce season 2 after the last episode aired, I'll go to Japan to protest for this anime to become a world heritage site.
It will but gonna take some time, the show is still new and it’s barely getting recognition
There's enough material for a couple more seasons. We're just going to have to wait and see.
I think it will end in a single season because the next episode will have a time skip 10 years later.

He confessed and he hasnt even developed the Hormones to fully understand what type of commitment he confessed to.
This one scene really highlights just how great the writing for this show is. Especially for Takada. We see that he's developed feelings for Nishimura, but he doesn't fully understand it since he's just a kid. So all he can really do is be as blunt as possible with expressing his feelings. Then, you got Nishimura. Her face is beet red, but not steaming like any other female MC in a romance anime -- thus adding to the emotion.
Absolutely! Just really beautiful writing. Every character felt real and true, even the mean ones. Nishimura had a first reason why they should not kiss, but Takeda answers that one real quick. And Nishimura doesn't have a second reason. It almost looks like she wants to until Kasahara breaks up their little tête-à-tête! And then the Father starting the first name thing at the end, and walking away with his arms around both of them! The writers here were hardly clueless. My number one for the season and maybe the year.
Puberty is going to hit Takada like a freight train.
And boy, will he be in for a HUGE embarrassment for all the times he said and done with Akane-chan.

I think as long as he keeps to his core of emotional honesty and deep consideration for her feelings, he’s gonna be fine.
Honestly, every time Akane’s dad goes “he’s *just a friend* right?” I think “Man, you should be *thrilled*. Your daughter is going to have the safest, most considerate partner to explore her developing feelings with.”
Now this is some phenomenal character writing. His understanding of his feelings, or lack thereof, is perfectly understandable for a kid his age. He knows he feels something in particular for Nishimura, but at the moment he lacks the emotional maturity to really understand it fully. And bluntly laying out his thoughts on this in the only ways he can. And also I gotta give props that this scene was handled with a serious air. She's red as a tomato, but if this were another scene in this series Nishimura would be steaming like a teapot in a volcano during this. And I think refraining from doing that was a good decision that let the scene have more emotional impact.
I think him seeing his friend's teenage brother kiss his girlfriend broke that for Takada, so he already went through the embarrassment because in that moment he both learned what dating/love might be and hence why he went out to the balcony to think on it during the party. He already went through the embarrassment stage.
He's so straight forward with what's going on in his head it loops all the way round to Nishimura casting doubt if he knows exactly what he's saying.
Takada is just pure, genuine confidence.
How does a kid confess to his crush that’s clueless ( It’s in the title) faster than other protagonist that are teenagers and older? That’s just rubbing salt in the wound

These two will make a wonderful married couple one day. She will be a timid yet calm and patient wife/mother, and he will be an energetic yet fair and honest father/husband. I hope their wedding is grand as well.

So did Takeda actually understand what he was saying or was he just coming off strong as usual? It was very vague at the end of this episode since it doesn’t seem anything has changed between them
Well thongs didn't have to drastically change just cause he confessed. I'm pretty sure he understood with how he responded to what Nishimura said. He knows what kissing is and understood what she meant. The only thing with him is that he was just being honest, I don't think that's coming on strong but just saying how he feels without lying or obfuscation. It really is pretty clear, and even with him asking her to talk more at a later time
He's a kid confessing feelings he doesn't understand. Yes, he was being blunt as usual, but he was confessing. He knows he likes her in a different way from the others, he just doesn't get what that means.

He correctly realized that his feelings for Akane were different and more special than his feelings for his other friends are, but doesn't really understand what that difference means and what the emotional impact of kissing really is.
He probably just thinks that if you like someone enough, you kiss them. Thinking that it's just something that's supposed to be done rather than something he has a personal desire to do.
Like when really little kids say they're going to marry one of their parents or some other much older prominent person in their life. It's not really about wanting to be married and more just simplistic associations because they can't quite process the whole thing yet.
That's about where I think he is with this - though he at least recognizes that it's meant to be with someone you care about more than anyone else.
He understands what he's saying, but like he said, he doesn't fully understand his feelings. But it's all sincere and true
I want to see their relationship milestones as they grow up together. You know Takada’s forthright about what he wants, but what he wants is to make her happy and you know he’d never pressure her into doing something she’s not comfortable with.
(Though statistically, girls tend to start developing a bit earlier than boys, so she may be the one having to be patient for his body and mind to catch up.)
There was such good romance anime this season. This whole spring season had to have the most shows I have ever watched in a season

This only further implies that Takada was thinking more about what he said to Nishimura in EP 6 than we were led to believe. Boy is still clueless, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think. He's just being blunt.

Why wouldn't they have so much sparkling cider? Most people at that age become engrossed by the fact that it's like PG wine.
Also, watch the damn anime. It's nothing impressive and they probably didn't have a very large budget, but it's so dang precious and worth the casual watch. Also it has a very well done outro/ED. At least watch until episode 5.
