Somebody (look him up) filmakerfrom 1960’s pink floyd Anthony Stern - told me to check this out. I did and this was 2017/18. Ive never got the voice and sound of the band far from my mind. Its so beautifully asian sounding and spaced out. She was amazing r.i.p. too sad she was stolen .

I was introduced to him initially because he had a load of film stock he had filmed, really classic late 60's stuff , holy grail material like the Ufo club london with Syd Barrett Pink Floyd playing live, and footage from 'A night in Swinging London'.film shoot. he was camerman for Peter whitehead, also a best friend to Syd Barrett He filmed the doors only show in uk at the Roundhouse london. He basically had a goldmine of reels of film. Much he digitised and we'd sit up all night going through it. One day he just said I love this take a look, it was all you guys doing Rising Sun. This would have been 2017/18 roughly. Then we had the lockdown and due chemical effects of Glass Blowing which he was magnificent at, he was in declining health. I tried to set something up with a connection at EMI and all was going well. There was a Syd Barrett weekend in Cambridge Myself and EMI friend went along. What we realised was, all the older guys from that scene would meet from time to time and talk about what to do with all their photos and stuff they had and then do nothing about it. Hmm... so I was tryng to set up a proper gallery showing of his photos and films and glass work. I began puting a team together, and we were on it when the lockdown happened. I knew i had to stay away from ANT Stern or if he got a dose of covid from anyone that may well be it. Unfortunately he passed away just after lockdown. I didnt get to say goodbye eh. I knew, i drove past his house and i could see something was going on.I was right. The family estate so to speak will have all that now, if they have the passwords to his imac.He was amazing. yes i was he played me you. So i watched more when at home. When I saw about Channthy I was bummed out. she sounded so ace over the rock backing with that full sounding guitar. i am sorry for your loss it must have been a terrible time. Anthony had an archive of films he shot ( and photos) from late 50's 60's and most famously the late 60's when he wa camera man at Granada Tv here in uk and camera man for peter whitehead who shot 'lets make love in swinging london'. he also had filmed the doors on their first and only visit to england, at the roundhouse venue. As a friend to syd barrett they had shared a gallery on their first art showings at art school. Then Anthony filmed the early Pink floyd at the Ufo club. I was introduced to whims i might have ideas what to do with all this film he had.I sat up a few nights with him going through the digitised footage.The stills also. It was amazing to watch, things i could only dream of were right there in front of my eyes.It seemed to me a proper retrospective of his work was the way to go, I had somebody at EmI interested in the floyd film and i could clearly see how a gallery of all his work, films like San Fransisco (on youtube ) or 'did you get that Ant?' or His motorbikes film and Afghanistan film. he was fascinating and very fun. But not well. Chemicals entering his lungs through glass blowing had affected him and he had developed a type of Parkinson's. he had ropes al around the house to help get about in there and mobility scooters . How he knew about you guys I don't know but one night we flipped around youtube trading things we liked and there was your House of the rising sun. I loved it right away and over the next few days watched more of your films. A perfect marriage of voice atmosphere and raunchy guitar, I know you lost Channthy and how it happened, I can only imagine how terrible that must have been for her and all of you. He had a good few experimental photos of iggy the inuit, a london it girl and girlfriend to Syd Barrett and for a short time anthony himself.
